It might be a nice place for planespotting, but if you live around here and are an aviation enthusiast, then STR is not the nicest place to be at. It is a handy airport due to its size, but often, the only planes that land here, are A319's, A320's, B737-800's, E-Jets, Q400's and sometimes an A321 (and an once a day B764 from ATL). If you are looking for an medium-sized airport with decent planes, then it's the right place to be. If you're looking for the big one's, better go to Munich or Frankfurt.
