@@mystrenula3911 In 3-5 the protags are wildcards because they are the only ones in their respective game that can use multiple personas. In 1 & 2 the whole party can use multiple personas. The term was created for the modern games where only the protag is special in this way.

Actually, the number is 57. Only the Wild Cards from 3 onward can hold 12 persona. The 3 protagonists of 1, 2IS, and 2EP can only hold up to 3 persona's in battle.

How this started:

This video was a Revelation. Not knowing of it's existence before now was an Innocent Sin. I'm glad I see it now, going without it would've been an Eternal Punishment. Upon awakening to the wild card all protagonists instinctively know 2 things 1.) how to be smooth as fuck 2.) how to dance ‘The Specialist’
as far as I know, Persona 1 and 2 Protagonists arcana isn't wild card aka The Fool
For Tetsuya, if I remember correctly his arcana is The Sun, but for others I forgot already

The users of 1 and 2 are not wild card userd, not because of they aren't fool arcana dominant, but because they can only use persona's they're at least a little compatible with.
It could be reasoned that essentially, the have split the power of the wildcard among themselves, and that's why its power is weaker, but that's just speculation, as they are not confirmed to have the wild card or not have it

Fun fact! Yu Narukami and the P2 protag are the tallest wild card in the Persona series coming in at 5’11, while everyone else is around 5’5-5’9 😌
