My favorite easy-to-miss detail in this video is how everyone's correctly lip synched to look like they're actually saying their lines. This never ever happens in the games since the outburst graphic covers the whole screen, but it's so tightly animated here that it looks perfectly natural, like of course their mouths would move to correctly form the words they're saying. Top tier stuff.
All things considered, von Karma could potentially make a terrific judge. He'd want a "perfect" verdict every time, and that entails taking every detail into consideration. That said, he'd have absolutely no tolerance for courtroom antics, which isn't fun
@Keagan Van Duzer He's talking about an alternate universe... in this universe he strives for a perfect record, meaning there's an alternate universe where he strives for a perfect verdict... sounds good to me!

A lesser artist would have considered a "remaster" to be remaking this using the Trilogy's upscaled/redrawn sprites. Not even capcom seems to respect the mastery that is the original trilogy's pixel art. We still cant use them in the current release of the trilogy. But im glad you respect your own art enough to keep it in its Ideal Form.
Capcom didn't even fully respect the original trilogy's plot in the remake. While 99.99% of the story is the game, they changed one character's hair color. Which sounds super minor and nit-picky, until you realize *which* character it is. Spoilers, obviously. Iris Hawthorne. You know, the character whose hair being the same color as Maya's, but the same style as Dahlia's, was the whole reason that the twist of the final case even worked from a logical standpoint? The case that ties the whole trilogy into a neat little bow? I doubt they made the change with malicious intent - they likely hired an artist who didn't realize that these two characters needed to have the same hair color. But it's still disappointing that they did so well and then fucked up right before the finish line.
But the HD sprites are better in every way. (Except the missing frames but that makes the iOS and 3DS graphics unique) It would be a better remaster if they DID use the HD sprites.
@@jaxsterminator8634 You are objectively wrong. The original pixel art has so much more character, detail, and care in them than the HD art. The HD art is so flat (both character wise and shading and color wise), and can just look plain bad in many cases, like with all of Phoenix's sprites. The sheer hubris of capcom to not only attempt to recreate the pixel art, but also to replace it and not give players the option to use the pixel art in the HD trilogy, is unfathomable to me. People like you who have convinced themselves that the HD art is better are why we are stuck with it, and why thousands of new players will not experience the game with the real version of the art.
