I could test the Softsynth Plugin E.S.P without using it or without it being connected to the Montage's usb audio, do the test with an external asio sound interface to see what the latency and total polyphony are like, because here with my Saffire 6 asio drive it's current win10 sounds It keeps making loud popping noises even though the processor speed is increasing and it has 14 cores asio da focurite but with other VST it works perfectly with polyphony of 256 notes or more with latency of 2 milliseconds or Yamaha needs to improve this E.S.P Softsynth Plugin further.
1. Is there a limit to the number of polyphony? 2. After installation, can I use ESP even if Montage is turned off? 3.What is the total capacity of ESP sound sources? Thank You!
You can use the vst with any controller. Polyphony is the same as montage (400 Notes) In terms of sound source, everything is identical to the Montage m
Thanks for the video. Next time make sure you laptop display does not reflect the window across the room. As for difference between the real one and vst - I could not tell because of your playing. Could you ask a real musician to demo this plugin?
It depends on what type of kontakt libraries u are comparing, but I can assure you if you are using a contact library like metropolis or any real sampled Instruments/orchestra sounds then Kontakt will definitely blow this out of the water as far as realism and sound quality is concerned …not to say that the sounds aren’t good but kontakt is on a different level because they’re playing you samples of actual instruments that were recorded with flagship microphones that cost more than 2-3 times this whole keyboard .. but like I said it is definitely library dependent .. at 7 GB it’s not possible for this to have more detail in certain KONTAKT LIBRARIES they have libraries that are over 100 GB so it’s sampled far more meticulously.
I believe that people who already have the Yamaha Montage have no interest in using the plugin if they already have the hardware.. the question is, is there any way I can buy the license even without having the hardware?
Montage m owners can use the E.S.P on stage with a very light weight controller. Unfortunately, you can't have the software unless if you purchase the hardware.
Almost useless … not knocking the sound quality but the cpu load is very high especially with FM-X .. hope they can remedy that but I’m not very hopeful about it. Why would they even release software that takes a 3,000 MacBook to run . So buy a Montage forget the plug-in.
They should release this vst to the people who don't own a montage
That’s against what they are trying to do which is to sell their flagship synthesizer.
They have.

I wonder how it sounds compare to other VST like Kontakt etc…
Have you tried that ?

It's best if u know someone who has it, can airdrop it to you
@@Lenky-Don I don't know anyone who has a friend. you have?
@Sampleraudioevolution from I got my montage m over 2 months ago, I haven't attempted to get the software version
@@Lenky-Don Could you sell me this code, if you're not going to use the plugin, It would help me a lot
Montage M ESP using in other DAWs, as Korg or Roland???
Thank so much for videoo
This man is telling me im broke wothout even saying it, look ar all them expensive keys he got 😂
kind of disappointed that the vst does not sound exactly like the keyboard !!
Do you think that Yamaha bring out a 4700 euro synth for fun if thy can do it on a VSTi
@@noitnovaBut then, as of now, you can’t get the plugin unless you buy the synth… kind of a waste to me, until they open it up.
don't be because the software version sounds 99 percent identical.
Can you use the VST with the original montage?
Yes, you can

That’s their point actually
damn, thats a huge difference between the two.
Can you tell the difference on a blind A/B test though?
Is there a way to save the edits made in ESP to ESP?
It sounds identical because it's digital 😉
YAMAHAMA😂😂
