What I'm seeing is the Mcu TRYING to get back to what they did best in the past ... Just make exciting movies, with the best possible creators involved. Too much of what they have made since Endgame has had limited appeal to the mass audience ... it all felt pretentious, preachy and bland. There was no momentum, no story that you could see was building towards an epic finale. A LOT is going to depend on how good Captain America and Thunderbolts are ... If they suck, then any forward momentum that Marvel had with D&W will be lost.

But from the screen time perspective, every character build up that Thanos got, 99% of it was in Infinity War. I agree that Doom is a much more complex character than Thanos, so bringing him directly in Doomsday is too high a risk. But, if they give him a side role in Fantastic Four with 10-15 minutes of screen time (as they should), then I don't think there would be any problem because Doomsday will essentially be Doom's film just like how Infinity War was Thanos' film and the build up for Doom in Doomsday will already be better than Thanos with that amount of screen time. But if they don't bring him in Fantastic Four, then I'll admit that I'm not a big fan of the decision but I'll still give it a chance because Russo Brothers haven't missed a single time in terms of MCU movies. Let's see what happens.
