Knott's should've just closed Montezooma instead of doing this half assed renovation. Cedar Fair pre merger tried to experiment heavy with random manufacturers as opposed to going with reliable ones and it really shows lmao.
As a current associate at Knott’s I can confirm the busiest time of the year is now. Especially in Camp Snoopy as all the kids are out of school. The 26th was an estimated budget, as we call it, of 27,000 guests. And we’re expecting most definitely over 30,000 this weekend
For Montezooma, I have spoken to A LOT of inside sources. They all told me the same thing "Montezooma will return" I feel like this is still likely a 2025 project. You have to keep in mind, there is still PLENTY of time to set this up for the Summer. They're probably just focusing on other stuff.
Why a new park? Expansion could be used to loop rides outwards like Ghostrider does to allow for some new big rides.....especially if any other California parks near San Diego close, then rides could be re-sited across the chain.
Here’s the order of closeness from the middle of each lot to the front gate. 1. North 2. East/Preferred 3. South. The West Lot (when open) is the closest because the back entrance is open then.
Monte could totally open in 2025! No one has any idea what's going on inside of those towers. And after that it's straight track and a loop. The LSMs come attached to the track already. The Station and queue already exist. Definitely opening in 2025! Also Excelarator is currently building the second train that everyone can see. Once it's done the current one will go under maintanenace and then they will both be on the layout at the same time.
I hate people that drive those kind of cars, ones that are really loud and they drive 80 MPH on a 30 MPH street. Those are the kind of idiots that crashed into me a few years ago. Those are the kind of morons that gave me neck problems.
I remember when the lot was free. We always parked there at least a half hour before the park opened. We would get something small to eat and chill until it was time to go in the park.
Knotts can’t even try to do anything with this tiny coaster yet universal has made huge progress with their new coaster that looks like it can be due to open next year with the way things are going. Knotts had a year head start and blew it. It’s like they never learn from their bad past experiences
Monte closed in 2022, originally announced for 2023 opening, said barely anything in 2024, just dropped an IG video with the same announcement video with a new 2025 date. Great job knott's pr team. Sucks that cedar point has a great head of communications Tony Clark, and we don't have anything.
Wow. You suprised me in this video, I got Fresh baked vibes, just a nice & slow stroll in the park covering all areas. I needed a long knott's video, so the timing was perfect 👌. I appreciated it when you spoke about knotts' future while walking in the marketplace/preferred parking lot. I think it's safe to say that we all love knott's, & there's nothing wrong with wanting more or wondering and looking towards the future with hope & optimism. I created the layout for the Knotts Giga-Coaster concept that's out there on UA-cam, the one that also remodels the main entrance, out of respect for your channel I won't mention where to find it or it's title. As for 2026, I agree with you. Soak City is opening with new "visual enhancements" so why not market a reimagined ride experience for Monte as well. A marketing 1 ~ 2 👊! I see Monte opening in late 2025, and being marketed heavily in 2026, like most of Knotts big rides in years past, they've opened in December due to construction logistics in trying not to impact operations, ESPECIALLY Haunt. Lastly, here's hoping 🤞 that whatever ideas they have for the last half of Camp Snoopy to be redone (Grizzly Creek Lodge Restrooms, Snoopy's Canoe relocation to the waterfall, Airmail Relocation, The Theatre 🤞, and showing some love to the Snoopy Airplane Ride) they will have enough money allocated this year, in order to properly finish off the area. I suspect the hotel renovation ran over budget, which according to permits online shows it was around $6 million.
True story I grew up down the way from Knott's just off Beach Blvd and Orangewood. Side note, Noel G that plays Hecror in the 1st F&F film use to also frequent the neighborhood as his parent and dad were best friends with my best friends parents. Both couples moved together from NY to Cali to live in the same place til they got their own homes.
When the So Cal weather is warmer, look forward to seeing a vlog of your Diving Routine and costume. 😂 😉. But do wait. Don’t want you to catch a cold. ❤️🌈
I agree with you about Disney with their security checkpoint it makes no sense for a company that big to still use the old machines for checking people. They don't even have x-ray scanners for the bags like at Universal, I believe. Disney needs to get it together😂
Currently, there are various roller coasters to choose from without Montezooma. Knott's has always been and will remain a family theme park with attractions geared towards all ages. If coasters/thrill rides are the goal, then Magic Mountain would be the go-to destination.
Knotts has always recently seemed to stall all projects for scary and merry farm. They will pick up in a few weeks I have no doubt. It’s the one new thing for 25
Love the video and want some tips on starting a vlog channel for me and Michael are thinking of moving to Florida just us together someday and want to meet you some day at Disney land and Bashgarders in January and bringing a friend april
I vote for a Vekoma Super boomerang. I rode the converted Monty clone in Belguim, Psyche Underground, and what a horrible waste of time that was. I'd prefer a Larson Looper over Psyche Underground. Do better Knott's!
Change the names of the Six Flags from Great America, Great Adventure to St. Louis or New Jersey or Chicago. I have no idea where these parks are without pulling up a new map all the time. Then again, I won't be going to Six Flags again... ever.
You're right about Montezooma, just forget about it; it would be a nice walkway, with flower beds, shrubbery, a stream, maybe some fountains, a buffer between Camp Snoopy and Fiesta Village. Let's face it, that part of the park is a spaghetti bowl of coaster supports.
nothing surprises me from Knott’s anymore. 👎🏼 … after they opened up the “new” camp snoopy with half of the land covered in construction walls & a last minute seating area with heat radiating turf. Montezuma was fine just the way it was, and it sucks that they went and ruined an ACE landmark with a “budget friendly” idea that never came to fruition. *sigh*
The Metered Parking Lot is NOT for general all day parking, unless you have a disabled plaque or are just going to short term park. METERED LOT RULES: It’s 1 hr Free, $10 each additional 1/2 hr after up to $60. If you spend $30 or more in the market place have them validate your parking ticket and you will get 2 hrs extra free parking. If you have a disabled plaque with an all season parking pass you can park the full day for free. If you have a disabled plaque w/o parking it will be $30 for the full day. Basically if you are not disabled or are not going to the market place, Please don’t park in that lot. 😁

Always good to have a nice full park walk around
Can never go wrong 😊

Just cuz we aren't seeing progress doesn't mean it there's nothing going on, there's a reason the track is covered
My source says July 2025 reopening
Cedar fair should buy that nearly dead mall across the street and expand to a second park. Ahh, to dream. 😂
Berry universe
@@AnthonylollzEpic Farm
Knott's Berry Mountain.
Why a new park? Expansion could be used to loop rides outwards like Ghostrider does to allow for some new big rides.....especially if any other California parks near San Diego close, then rides could be re-sited across the chain.
Its not really dead i live 5 minutes away and every night it's tough to just find parking there dead or not parking is tough
Nothing. Nothing is up with Montezooma’s. 😂😂😭
Likely working on inside the tarps,
I went on Christmas Eve and got the very last ride on Ghost Rider at closing time. Cherry on top was getting row 12 (the back). ❤🎉😮
That would be my perfect way to end the night 🙌🏽
That preferred lot is a longer walk than from the lot across from Beach Blvd.
Here’s the order of closeness from the middle of each lot to the front gate. 1. North 2. East/Preferred 3. South. The West Lot (when open) is the closest because the back entrance is open then.
Man the park is crazy packed!

I was there the day it opened! :) I waited hours and it finally launched and it was AWESOME! :)

I don’t understand the speeders on Beach Blvd. I always see cops at night because there are multiple ugly collisions.
Yes, Food festival at Knotts Berry Farm was definitely worth it 💯✅ delicious
I remember when the lot was free. We always parked there at least a half hour before the park opened. We would get something small to eat and chill until it was time to go in the park.
Lol the fast and furious auditions!!!
Cool I love the candy's like you do.
Yeah go knott's berry farm holiday decorations for christmas!!!!!!!

Excellerator is getting a 2nd train finally.
Yesss!!! Another long video!!
More to come! Maybe in the next few days I’ll give The Lord of the Rings extended cut a run for its money.
I think those little pies are scent/oil warmers.
Yes that’s exactly what they are.
Good morning from North Carolina, Dylan!!

Went yesterday and was done around 12pm since it started to get pretty packed. Silver Bullet & Hangtime had a nice short wait until around 1030/11.
I was there yesterday too. Have a 2 year old and left the park at 4. By that time, all camp snoopy rides were 60-100 minutes.
The drinks sounds good as well.

Is sol spin still closed?
Off subject but I like the haircut!
Knotts has always recently seemed to stall all projects for scary and merry farm. They will pick up in a few weeks I have no doubt. It’s the one new thing for 25
If you haven’t you should do the castle park drop tower.
They need a peanuts dark ride
That would be amazing!
Been saying that since they got rid of Kingdom Of The Dinosaurs
Montezuma is waiting for the track and Excelarator is getting a second train and will be around for a while.
I have it on good word Monte will be returning around july next year. Ofc take with a grain of salt, i cant reveal my source.
Do they have boysenberry flavor?
I went Christmas Eve and saw green track. I’m not sure if it’s old paint or new track.
I love knott's berry farm dessert in the bakery.
Dylan, go back to Disneyland soon! They have opened Madam Leotas gift shop, the one in front of Haunted mansion.
Cool Dylan Dickson. 💙💙💜💜🪻🪻😎😎
The cookies look good. 🍪
Monty looks as it did back in early October. Doubt much, if any movement's been going on...even the tarps are starting to fall off.
They shouldn’t have taken the ferris wheel 🎡 down on camp snoop
That's a staple of my childhood I remember getting stuck up their with my sister 😂
I would rather go to Knotts than Disneyland.
They won’t wanna compete with MM as it’s a sister park
Not true. Notice the white tarp covering…they’re working on building it during nighttimes after park closing. I work there. It’s set to open 2025.
Goodbye Drop Tower 😢 Xccelerator needs a triple launch
Hi Dylan Dickson ❤❤
As a former SFMM employee i say thank you to you
Appreciate you 😊
Great video Dylan, hope you had a wonderful Christmas 🎄 Looking forward to 2025

Xcelerator is now an endangered species according to OC Register
It was probably Zamperla and....you know.
Just put in a Vekoma super boomerang already
Dylan my Cotton Candy 🍬 😋 Pal. Maybe some day I will have the privilege to meet ya

They gonna cook on monte at 2025
This video is 25 minutes of Dylan aggressively threatening bakery goods.
I gotta put those cookies in their place.
🦇🦇
Knott's is so cheap they would delay it until 2026!
I wonder if there is something going on with whoever they have working on it.
Ride Xcelerator while you still can.
Yeah a part of me thinks something is going to happen to it one of these years.
@@ThemeParkObsessionDD I can see them axing both Xcelerator and Coast Rider to build a bigger ride in the future.

I agree 4 cylinder Cars could be annoying with modified exhausts. But sorry only someone who likes men would rant about them like that.
5:06 more evidence of my statement.

What if it had two loops 🤔
