For people who dont get it , I drove my father's Peugeot 5008 , which has a HUD , it is quite helpful to have to look very little down to see speed , but really for a gadget like that it all depends on price , you can live with or without it just as well
I drive a Pontiac GTP that had it and it was useful on that car because of the analog speedometer and the gauges being lower set in the dash. My Honda would not benefit from this because the digital speedometer is pretty high on the dash so it’s close to line of sight anyways. I think it probably depends on the car
@@flameonhoodwhy would you need to monitor those while you’re daily driving, that gadget is for making the speed easier to see and less time looking away from the road
Be careful having something like this plugged into your OBD2. You really don't want something plugged into your OBD2 constantly, it could cause computer problems

Depends on the drivers need. For people in sports car some might not have one from factory. Preferably it’d be better to have both the rpms and speed shown. For the avg driver it’s pretty useless. I own a bmw with the msport package so i have one from factory but people who own one without it might want this.
@@exb940 Yeah I'd buy this right away if it showed RPMS, because in my Celica once you hit valve lift you are going REALLY fast and have to look at the RPM gauge rather than the road to know when to shift.

its easier looking down tho, can see mileage, mpg, errors lights, speed, etc.

Luckily my car has a meter displaying speed
I need that for my truck!
Lol
wait till the cop reads your speed off your own window
They already know your speed, jackass
Good thing I'm a cautious driver
Bought one and it only displays 2 lines on it… doesn’t seem to work
How do you change it from kph to mph?
You dont, metric system is just straight up better.
@@PatrickHemmeswhat a dipshit response
If it has a speed alarm that you can set, it will be amazing
Thank You 😮
Would be actually worth it if it did other things like show transmission fluid temp and other data.
There are ones which do.

Not sure, but if the speedometer is bad quality the gps will fuck up at higher speeds
This decent for ppl like me with adhd

How you turn off the beeping?
by setting the max speed higher. like in Alaska the highways are 65mph, so i set the beeping to go off if i pass 70. it was in 5mph increments.

my guy theres a damn speedometer right there

Now this will be the best thing you buy for a normal car
It is infact NOT easy to set yp
how bruh
does this use the cars speedometer or a standalone GPS? my speed sensor stopped working in my prelude and a replacement would cost $250
There are GPS based speedometer apps you can use. Waze also has a speedometer built into the app as well.
I bought it and it killed my car battery, piece of junk
does it just copy the speed of my speedometer (which is wrong) or does it use like a GPS too get a more accurate speed?
