No joke, this tripod NEVER leaves my phone except when I wirelessly charge. I adore this tripod. It's changed how I use my phone, which I cannot believe I'm saying.
Same. Perfect for flights when on planes with no seat monitors. Even charging your phone is easier than using those MagSafe wallet kickstands since the tripod gives clearance under it. It's also a decent grip when filming in landscape.
I have one and 100% of its usage is as a phone stand for my toddler when we’re at restaurants, and it’s damn good at that. Last week I was heartbroken because I thought it was lost, but I just put it in the wrong pocket in my bag. I was so relieved! Someday, maybe I’ll use it as a tripod, because that seems pretty cool!

This thing is the $h..! Really. Like everything Peak Designs does, this is top-notch quality and thoughtful engineering. The only time I’m taking this off of my phone is to clip the phone to the PK mount on my mountain bike!

That's pretty cool. I use Quadlock for my case and have their tripod mound paired with a mini joby but this is next-level compact. I'll pick on up when I get a mag safe phone.
Looks cool but wont be able to use polar pro filters w/it. Those are awesome, but circular. Y'all shld partner w/polar pro on a special fitted filter edition of this tripod. Variable NDs have been killer outside

I want a tripod that fits in my pocket on current, new phones and the only alternative to this is a selfie stick-tripod which does not compare at all to having this fit in your pocket. A happy 80 dollars spent (70 because I bought used)
Do tell which magnetic mounts you had bad experiences on because I'm so on board for this item the only thing preventing me from being sold is how reliable it is to have the only thing securing this tripod to my phone be a magnet.

@@warrust yeah man, so the replacement one is still kicking. The legs got a little loose about 2 weeks ago but i tightened it with a small L key. I’m not sure what happened with the first one I ordered. I bet it was just a faulty unit because I bet the replacement to hell and it still works just like it did the day I got it.

Got mine just few weeks ago and never leaves my daily Sling 3L! I just can't let it stay on my phone because I use the universal adapter.

The magnets aren’t strong enough for me.
It doesn’t stay put on my pelican MagSafe case nor straight to the back of my iPhone 14 pro

i have a samsung s22 im sure other people dont use iphone's can you address that one it cost too much even more if you dont have a iphone im good.
They specifically make a case for the S22 that has the rear magnets for this mobile tripod. You can check their website.
