- Another year at Duck Camp. Stories told by the campfires. Early mornings in the duck blinds. The 2021 Duck Camp was once again a great experience. Many new memories to carry on the long standing family tradition.
Thank you for taking us along for this every year! It's become one of my traditions to watch it every year. I always look forward to it. Great video as always Joe 👍
Always iconic! Sarah, Sarah it’s 4:30 time to wake up! Love it!
Zach should figure out how to make that her ringtone for Joe..
I wonder if Joe laughs, before he says that. He knows we’re all just waiting for it. 😂 🛶 🦆
and he's so nice. If dad said it twice, a glass of cold something was on its way!
Made me smile! 😆❤
When I hear that, I know it's Duck Camp or Dear Season. Joe ought to have that on a T-shirt in his Merch. LOL "Love It"
Each year that I watch. I'm thinking you should stay there for at least a week. All the work you put into your camp
Yeah definitely don’t need all that for one night.
He’s there at least three nights
@@joejones2582 2 nights
@@tomr.6311 3 nites this year thur fri sat
@@jeremystudinski132 stand corrected. Usually 2 all other years . I wish Zach would deer hunt longer that I day and 1 morning
The hunting wasn't too good but the camping was excellent! Your Dad looks great!!
I like that no one is annoyed by the camera constantly on,, it seems everyone at camp understands the following Joe and Zach have. Also it's nice that when dad is speaking, he has the floor and he can say what he wants without interruption. Respect.
They've been taking home movies since 1957. Sending lots of love 💖 from sunny 🌞 Arizona 🌵. 😷
What a beautiful sight, a loving, caring family and the beautiful outdoors!! Amazing!
Oh
Oh wow its really nice that they were all the way
"I'm taking my rocks back" - lol, you go Joe! 😆
Yah definitely I found that freaking hilarious. U ain't ruining Joe's traditional site, shit!
@@markdemelo7221 ok MELO
Two hours sounds like a lot of video but it is never enough! Thanks!
Its good to see Sara. It so cool your able to keep this tradition going.
I look forward to this and Deer Season Movie every year ❤️ It’s just so peaceful and cozy watching your delightful family carry on these lovely traditions.
Cant wait myself
Another awesome year at camp and lots of new memories to cherish..Joe, i've noticed thru the years, the lighting of grandpa's lantern to remember him and have a part of him at camp shows your true self..Much love and respect to you Joe, much love and respect..Thanks for letting us come with and i cant wait to climb into "the far stand" or "the clearing stand" this deer season so you all stay safe and god bless...
So true! That's a precious tradition, along with "Sarah, Sarah wake up...".
Been waiting all day for this movie , time grab some popcorn and sit back and watch some duck hunting !!
Thank you Joe. Your a lucky man. Doesnt matter about the ducks its about family time.
It’s about journey and not the destination, sitting around campfire 🔥 with loved ones, you couldn’t ask for a better opportunity to make some unforgettable lifetime sweet memories 🤩
Joe, you are a great son to your father and father to your kids. The videos are much better than what’s on tv too.
Your dad is like my father-in-law, still taught men to handle “heavy equipment “for the county into his late 80’s! They are like the energizer bunny! They just keep going! Loved that man!
I'm gettin my rocks back!! LOL. Great video as always Joe.
Looks like I’ll be staying up late tonight…love these videos!
Same here
Ditto!
Same
Always look forward to duck camp and deer camp! Family traditions are excellent
"The Circle Of Life" Love this video in so many ways. In 10-12 years from now Zack, and Sara will be setting up your camp site as well. You are all Blessed to have each other. Happy Thanksgiving from North of the Border. And all your other Canadian viewers.
Great video Joe. Glad to see everyone made it up. Also glad to see your dad is doing great. My favorite part was when you asked Sarah what she was going to eat after she put the pork steaks on the fire. Awesome!
Joe, I have been watching your videos over the years and this is such a beautiful tradition including the place with all the amazing scenery, and just wanted to thank you for taking the time to record and document things you get to do with your family. God bless!
Really nice, Joe. Thank you for sharing.
Your videography is getting really good. The final video segment of the drive out, interspersed with still photos of the weekend, was remarkable. Your creativity gets better and better, Joe.
And not getting many ducks doesn't even seem to matter to an otherwise rich Duck Camp, 2021.
Anyone else get super pissed when you found some someone STOLE his wood and fire ring rocks?!
Absolutely!
And used up all his fire wood and didn't replace any!
They just repurposed them. Then Joe repurposed them back, LOL! I laughed near the beginning when Joe said that should be enough wood. At the end, I now know why he said it. He burned through most of it! A lot of it was marginal wood for a stove, but great for a campfire.
I actually stopped by his campsite a couple weeks ago, seen they were gone. Someone threw them over the bank behind his tent spot. His concrete blocks were down there too. Not sure what is wrong with some people.
"His" rocks? Thats a public camping spot. Much as you like Joe, he doesnt own it. Stop being control freaks. Anybody can use that spot or resources!
Joe are those camp site first come first serve, how come you don’t camp altogether that tent big enough
For you and Zac
Joe, thanks for the time and effort that goes into all the video and editing. We all appreciate your sharing family moments. You’re a blessed man.
You should sit your dad down and interview him. He has had some awesome adventures it sounds like.
Zach mowed his camping spot before he made camp. Just sayin’
Joe, thank you so much for this and sharing your traditions and family with us. What a nice escape to sit down and watch. Simply fantastic.
That's a fine tradition you have going there. Even though the hunting is slow, the comradery is fun. The sarah wakeup us always fun.
Making memories with your family is way cooler than getting ducks anyway. I hope to forge a hobby with my kids that they will remember and keep coming back to even when they have families of their own. Your videos are the only ones I can sit through for 2 hours and not be bored. My favorites are deer hunting. Keep the show going. Thanks.
It's a lot of work setting up camp huh? I've done it many times. I'm just getting too old to do ir anymore but it's nice that you share your experience with me, thank you. It's good that you take care of your dad, so many kids these days don't. A true outdoor sportsman.
Gramps lantern😍👍
Why not buy hamburger buns instead of bread?
Now I can’t wait for deer camp movie lol thanks Joe
Zach and Sarah have learned so much from their dad and granddad. I love the stories they all share.
Ive been waiting a year for this video.
I know it's one more thing to carry, but a welders blanket 4x6 from Harbor Freight makes a great stove base. Just an idea. Love your videos!!
That is a great idea actually.
Joe - thank you so much for including the public on your family traditions. I can't tell you how much I enjoy all your videos. They bring so much solace to me (and presumably everyone else). Keep up the awesome work - and as always,, thank you!
Your dad's post surgery message to others is a does of determination and a positive attitude is the best medicine for a speedy recovery.
Your dad is looking good on his feet Joe. Tell him to take care on those camping chairs with that new hip. Hips higher than knees is a safe bet early on in the recovery process when sitting😉
Your Dad is getting around remarkably well. It is good to see. He is doing great for all the recent health issues. You cannot keep a good man down - slow him down a little but never keep him down!
I seriously wish I could understand what he ( Joe's dad) is saying but I can't make out a single word. I respect him and understand the stutter is not that big a deal but from a southerner here I don't know what he is saying..... can someone translate? All love to Papa he is wonderful. no disrespect meant. Just want to know what he says.
Over 2 hours - a fascinating slice of life as always Joe - thanks. At 51:54 it looks like the beavers did a real number on that tree in the foreground some years past 😊
Great video as always. Harvesting game is just a plus, the stories the experience and the comradeship lasts forever
I don't know what it means but hate having to go home when I'm on a trip like this. It's always sad to have to pack up and leave.
Awesome movie. Just need to ask something. In all of your duck hunting movie I've watched how come nobody uses any duck calls
I hate when people don't leave things alone or if you find firewood and use it chop up some more, and clean up.
Such great memories are being made year after year. I wish I had videos of my Dad like you do yours. Thanks for sharing and taking us along.
Awesome video Joe. Good to see the old man getting around so well.
Hello king i just watched bread cooking video
Sweet I’ve been waiting forever
It is crazy what having kids will make you do, like be with your Dad every single year at duck camp! Zach has become very reliable on your trips! hahaha.
Joe n Zach>Just Awesome! Can’t tell youz what this video means to those of us outdoor/camping folks that have been unable to partake and enjoy camping trips, due to extenuating Life circumstances. 😩Due to locale, environment (Florida, ugh!) and camping buddies many miles away. Just puts me there, what with the crunching leaves, gorgeous woods, water everywhere, nature, animals and the campfire camaraderie I can ALMOST smell the campfire LOL. Thank you both so much for your time and efforts. Having Grandpa still there is the Gravy! 👍👏🏻😁 Stay Blessed. 🙏🏻👍
Splitting logs the old fashioned way. A rarity in this day and age. So Duck Camp is as much as it is about fellowship as it is to hunt the waterfowl. I always just assumed it was the other way around. I have never hunted, my dad never hunted. My granddad and my cousin hunted but I never showed an interest in that pursuit so I have never had the opportunity. I remember in college there were a few of the soccer players from DC and Maryland that were hunters. I knew they got up at obscene hours. Maybe not obscene for you guys but for most college folks that would be the reaction. On weekends nothing stirs until about 0900 hrs.
Another nice production! Loved the photos at the end. Thanks for sharing.
Tremendous work , loved watching .. a camping trip isn't a real camping trip unless you burn yourself and rip off a fingernail ... Why is that .
When you talked about opening the kipper snacks...
My dad used to eat them all the time. Would break off the head and offer it to me, do you want a bite? Knowing full well it would gross me out.
Brought back memories
“That would remind me of an IPA beer, which suck”
I couldn’t agree more, joe!
here we go.... Sarah wake up take one Sarah wake up take two ....lol good hunting
I worked in the logging industry in western Canada for 6 years. I noticed you was just wearing earring protection what about pads or chaps and boots. I had to many close calls with the chain saw kicking bag and hitting my pants saving my leg and life. Just trying to spread the word that it can happen.
Up here in New Brunswick we very seldom see many ducks, but the geese are here by the flock. Maybe you will have to try goose hunting instead of duck next year. Haha.
The whole Brat and Hot Dog story she told is exactly why you don't trust anybody from Illinois.... HAHAHAHAHA
Dang mr joe I didn't think they can just go An take yall stuff like that that ant right glad you got your rocks back An u made an awesome video
Looks like a fantastic time was had by everyone Joe, those memories will always be with you and thanks for sharing them with us
A lot like our camping trips. Such great memories! and your kids will also get to show and pass these memories on. Great Stuff!
Hey Joe I am Still Waiting for the T shirt "Hey Sara its 4.30 time to get up" That was a great family weekend, the things you don't forget
If you get bored some time you should build a bunch of wood duck houses/ nest boxes and hang them around where you duck hunt, the tent and your dad's cabin. 😉
I am the last
one living from our family hunt camp. The young ones dont hunt. They don't realize it's more than hunting. Really miss it.
Duck Camp Video time! Popcorn & M&M's all ready! Thanks for another great video!
Joe, where is your duck camp in relation to the farm house and the tent?
Really Good Camera work Joe, love the Autumn Leaves. What a nice time of year:)
If I was camped next to you I'd hide your chain saw.. LOL. That would drive me nuts...
Beautiful dog is that a Chesapeake. We had one growing up excellent duck dog.
Looks like all three are Chessies!
Same rules in fishing poaching in Scotland, they can take everything you have with you.
Thanks Joe for taking us along again this year, sorry you wasn’t more successful, but you got to spend time with your family. God bless, and be safe.
Oh wow break ing camp already!!!!
Ive been following your channel for 5 years (and seen All the archive stuff) and it just does not get old!! Thanks Joe and Zach survival 😃👍🍻
Not been on for a while…………..this is new to me. Watching from Glasgow Scotland. 👍🥃
Joe you should check into a gravity chair, instead of that old metal one, would be so much more comfortable for you! I love watching your Duck camp videos the best. Roughing it and in nature!
Everyone complains about my metal chairs. Lol. I use them for ice fishing also. I do not like a chair I fall into. I do not want to be that comfortable. Thank you Colleen.
Is that public camping or is that spot belonging to the family, if public do you have to reserve ?
Public land. National forest.
It's great to see you pop doing so well. As always a good time for all.
Thanks Joe for the video I look forward to it every year and I know y'all do too it's such a wonderful family tradition
Where’s Malissa she doesn’t do anything with you?
I stopped by your campsite a couple of weeks ago and noticed that your rocks were missing. I seen that someone had thrown them over the bank behind your tent spot. The concrete blocks were down there too...not sure if someone was being a prick or what. Anyway, great video again, hopefully the duck hunting will get better soon. Did Ok on the south end of the big lake.
I saw the blocks at the bottom of the embankment. Some of the rocks which I thought were by the canoe landing were actually over at Chris and Teresa's camp. I did not know but once she showed up she immediately said there were more rocks. I am sure that some of the distant shooting you can hear in the video was yours. Thank you Chris.
A highlight of the year and always the start of my hunting season. Great video Joe.
Lots of new memories made along with a great family tradition. Ducks were very slow moving here also during the first couple Amy’s of the season. Thanks for taking the time to make such an awesome video.
Regards
Mark
Thank you Mark. As the weather gets colder the ducks will start flying.
Great video ya'll - the extra long "The Movie" was awesome. Great job and thanks for taking us on your duck hunting journey again this year. Cheers from Wisconsin. :)
Everglades is the best.i use it on everything.gotta try the heat blend on fish and deer.great videos
Duck hatch down 30% plus the severe drought up in the pothole region not looking good
always grab food from the back,, the oldest is always up front.
Them to young people sitting there and neither one of them offered that old man a chair 😞
Thank you for the duck hunting experience. Ive never seen one.
Great times Joe. Damn they burned your wood and took your rocks? Wth.
another great production joe. U keep turning them out week after week, your efforts are appreciated!!!
Thank you Mark. I have one that will go public on the Northern Seclusion channel tonight at 5.
Awesome Awesome memories 👍 From Cadillac Michigan
Joe, you never forget to light the lantern for your grandfather. Nice.....
You are a very nice individual cleaning all that up for your dad God bless you
Yes finally something good to watch on UA-cam!!!
Damn I think in today new age, those geese "identify" as ducks...hello...😅🤣😂
Why don’t you and your dad and family eat together
Because it is duck camp and we do what we want. What you see is what was wanted to be done.
Real nice camping out with fire and the hole family I love it nice video
Great video Joe of the camp and making precious memories with family. We are so privileged to share your experiences. Very encouraging to see your Dad up and about. Thank you - God bless to you all.👍🏻👌🏻
Thank you Kevin.
"We ain't scared of no PoPo!!"....lololol Words cannot express the joy this family tradition brings me. When the Game Warden showed up, it was epic hearing you tell him how long you guys have been at it as well as when you said, " even at this age they still love to ride on the trailer". Goes to show how fond memories remain with us. So glad "The Beast" was present and he looked great.
Thank you Luis, awesome comment.
