Hi Jack. There just aren’t enough hours in the day when you have a little one, juggling work and relationships, etc., not to mention all the hours you spend on the road. We are happy to see you whenever we you have the time and energy to make a video. I am glad you are feeling better. Sounds like you had a great Thanksgiving holiday. I always find something of value from your videos. Thank you for taking the time to share with us. I hope you have a wonderful day. Take care and we’ll see you when we see you! 🙂
Hi Jack, I had a job where I had to commute for long hours - the toll it takes on your energy and your social life is not to be underestimated. So please be gentle with yourself. You've found a job with a purpose, you still have to find your groove. Life happens and you have to deal with it and navigate through new situations and adapt. None of that means you're not living up to your "promises". Your family, your relationship, your job, your mental health come first. This, us, is the least important component. If we're not hearing a lot from you right now because you're adjusting to your new schedule it means you've got your priorities straight and are taking care of the important things first. So, kudos for that!
‘The organism does what makes the organisms successful’…addiction is a symptom which served a purpose for survival. The mind body connection is so powerful that those responses are automatic/subtle/seem less and from a conditioned response through the patterns of addictive behavior the body will look for what’s familiar physically and emotionally and it’s those negative states we have to be on guard against and reprogram que the workouts (dopamine and detox the body which everyone needs because of what we are exposed to),sleep, journal, meditation (prayer), relaxation, nutrition and patience (awareness of the ego) and attention to subconscious programming from childhood and then changing the tape we play in our heads Thank you for posting and even if you don’t feel you have anything profound to say and your just essentially journaling to us…it still has the potential to inspire thought and introspection
Consistant small amounts of it are just as valuable if not more valuable than sporadic long periods! This!! Yes!!!❤ Currently doing mon-fri 30mins each morning, I feel great 😊I've been consistent since mid October And that is a really longtime for me 😊😊😊 Hearing that reassures me I am doing enough ❤ Let's swap weight Jack, u want extra I want less 😂 Loved this update, it feels like it's been ages. So so happy for u that your life is very full and busy. Daniel's friend story is devastating every parents worse nightmare to loose a child. Cant fully imagine how that affects every part of your being. Its painful just to try and imagine. Hearing these stories gives everyone perspective that is helpful I truly believe that. I need reminding sometimes and I feel i have zero problems compared to alot of people but i still need reminding by hearing these life stories. Come back soon Jack 😊
Jack, no need to apologize…or burden yourself with impossible promises. Everyone does and contributes what they can. Your first responsibility is and must always be to you and your family. I appreciate what you contribute to the quality of my life. Congratulations on your three weeks! ~Lorna
I came across you today while watching soft white underbelly. I watch all your interviews in a row. I am so impressed with you. You you're such a beautiful heart. I love how soft spoken you are how intelligent you are how you know how to hold a conversation you talk very poetic. You are very respectful guy. Which is super rare. Gosh I have so many questions I would like to ask so many things I would like to say I'm so big when it comes to trauma. When it comes to healing and just the hearts of people. I just want to know so much more than I do. Although I know that it would probably be damn near impossible to ever talk to you at this point
GTSY, Jack! You do what you have to. I am glad you are spending time with your son. I did not have a father that was able to do that with me. He will be forever grateful to you for that.❤❤🙏🙏
Welcome back! So worth the wait. Glad you’re busy! That’s important ❤ Our town had Christmas festivities downtown (population 1400, maybe) 😊 yesterday. My 10year old daughter was wanting to run in the 1 1/2 mile run to raise money for the summer fun daze our town puts on. She was going to run, her and her bestie. Well her bestie got stuck in town with her mom shopping. So I was quickly nominated. I do a little morning exercise every day but nothing crazy like running lol. It meant so much to her that I said yes. We had fun in our jingle bells. We ended up winning. Winning is fun 🤩 your Thanksgiving sounded great. I hope you and Megan find more time to spend together ❤ and your commute improves. That drive… that’s gotta be a huuuuge struggle. Sorry I’m all over the place. I have been struggling with time management. Feeling overwhelmed with so much to do around the holidays and staying on budget yet making sure I can provide a gift where needed, what dish should I make for each Christmas party. Im I planning to much and I making time for my children. I enjoy talking and taking care of people and sobriety is hard work but for years has always paid off more than leaving it all to go get high. You have to have some sort of self worth. For me it was becoming coming a mother 20 years ago. I was everything to the baby and that’s what got my sobriety started but a lot of hard work has kept me sober. You coming into my life has sparked a little light inside me. You’re a special person Jack, I love you! Also great job not vaping the past 3 weeks. I need to quit vaping.
Sending love right back at you Jessie, makes me happy seeing you in here. Good job winning the run! You don’t give yourself enough credit it sounds like, keep pushing. You’ll figure out the balance, acknowledging the struggle is the first step and now you can work on it. Hope you have an awesome night.
Hi Jack!! Always nice to see you and your videos! Sitting in my car right now. Just got out of work about to go into the gym so I will watch this video later when I get home.
Hey Jack ! No need to apologize ! It takes time to get into a groove when your routine changes . Not sure what the laws are in California but could you do car vlogs ? You could chat with us on your ride in to work . Then go live on some Sundays . Just a thought ! Hope you’re well and I don’t want you to feel you have to pressure yourself to be on UA-cam . Your job , family and personal relationships come first .
I’ve thought of getting a little holder for my phone for driving videos, just have not taken that step yet. Not a bad idea at all. Always great to see you here Tara!
Jack: No matter how long it takes you, watching you here is always worth the wait. You know already I love you, brother. Never think that will change. I'm here as long as I'm spared. Take care & God bless.
Great to see you my man. Sorry I haven't been able to chime in lately but I suffered a stroke a while back and have had a longer than anticipated stay in hospital. I have been watching all your videos and they have been, as always, a real tonic and I look forward to more. Keep the faith my friend. Much love as always..🍀
@@jackunmasked It's going ok my man. Got some movement back in my left arm and the walking is improving, a lot of hard work but I have great "physical-terrorists" as I call them and they make sure I stick to their punishing regime. Learning more about gratitude, humility and patience now than I have in the whole 55yrs of my life! There are positive things to be learned in everything that life throws at us...x.🙏.x.
I think you could use your time driving making videos. I see people making videos while they're driving and it would probably take your mind off of those long trips. I don't know how they do that. I must be pretty simple.
