Thanks for the unboxing video! I was interested in this painting and wanted to see how many colours there would be and your video was helpful. It did feel a bit long for me as well but I had no problem just skipping through some part. Don’t let one bad comment affect your day. Have a nice one!
Ohhhh I thought about subject matter of the 50’s what would be cool to see and when you unrolled it I could see it was what I thought, yay, it’s going to look amazing once done. As a kid I trained my eyes so much to see those hidden 3D pictures pop out of very chaotic colourful backgrounds, I can see the images of mystery kits quite clearly no matter DAC’s effort to hide it. My husband and mom can’t see them, so I guess it’s working, but like you say, even if you can see it, the colours are still a surprise. I think you’re going to have fun with it. I’m as I type this, doing my 3rd DAC mystery kit. I just love them so much, as you start doing it, it goes as fast as normal kits, you get used to seeing the symbols stand out rather than the blocks of orange or pink. You would be surprised how fast they are done once starting. I actually haven’t worked on one of their perforated canvases yet. I have ones in my stash that will have them but I try plan on what kits I work in what order. So I look forward to trying that. I did like collecting the coverminders though, not using necessarily, just fun to collect and stick on my toolbox, but I understand the reasoning. Tfs, Jim.
I never did figure out those 3D images. 😄 The idea of the picture filling with colour as you go appeals to me, it’s something different. I very rarely know which project I’m going to do next, I keep changing my mind. I’m working on Elmer Fudd at the moment, a whole 12 colours! I’m pretty sure that the next one will have more than 12. 😉
Hi Elizabeth, It’s definitely a female dominated hobby but I think more men are taking it up as a relaxing hobby. 🙂 I’m glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching! 😊
OOhh love the new print with bits and pieces of colour here and there. This is going to be an extra challenge, since being so used to finding the symbol and following it's shade. (I love challenges). P.S. Love your accent, keep uploading your informative videos. Thanks for sharing
