I've travelled to many cities around the world and KL is my favourite city. It is similar to NY but much cleaner. And Bangkok is my second favourite city

@@fakrulaziz1842 Bangkok has a lot of fantastic stuff to see and do but KL is my favourite because of amazing people, different cultures, beautiful city and amazing parks but as a Muslim from the UK (your name is Muslim, isn't it?) I find Malaysians far more easier to connect with
First, whoops second. My wife loves the look of that million dollar view from the hotel's rooftop bar. We were in KL in late Nov 2011, and the mall was set up for Christmas, it was amazing, so to see it set up for Chinese New Year so quickly is a pretty phenomenal job.
Yes I have to agree it's very much like Times Square in New York, but better, more vibrant, and more enjoyable.

KL at front your eyes at Bukit Ampang at Jalan Hulu Langat.... you can see whole of KL city with beautiful view

The best view of KL skyline is at early morning, after rain (magically stunning) and of course at evening during sunset

Was in KL last week, amazing...compare to NY? KL is much more exiting, cleaner, more vibrant & people are more friendlier:) BB is so much fun than TS...eatery places are everywhere! I am already planning my next trip back for longer stay.

Honestly, as a Malaysian and also a KLites ,i really appreciate if we all stop calling Kuala Lumpur as New York City of Malaysia or Asia. KL have its own charm and identity. KL has it own soul and uniqueness . I would rather see my city as it is and not to be labelled as similar to a city which is foreign to us. You can give the title ' New York of Asia' to Singapore or Jakarta or Manila...Thank you,
KL is the NEW YORK of Asia..due to you can't get to see this kinds of city in asia excepted only in KL CITY..and Bukit Bintang is similiar like TIMES SQUARE of New York..

Probably asked & answered before; but where do you think they serve better (traditional) food? Bali or Malaysia? I.e. Satay is so different & much more 'rich' and most def bigger in KL I think. Wonder what your take is. Btw; thanks for all the work & reporting you did during Covid in Bali. Matur suksma!
1 stick in Malaysia is rm 1.06. How much in bali is a stick of satay? We put a lot of peanuts into our sauce. It is thick.

Erm... I won't compare Kuala Lumpur to New York city, even though I believe you meant good. New York city's subway is so horrible and the city's crime rate is so high. Kuala Lumpur is nothing like that.
