This remembers me of a time in school when we are attending a serious quiet lecture, one of our mates cracks a terrible joke, you just can't stop laughing. Even if the joke was terrible, the fact that you shouldn't laugh makes it more uncontrollable.

Hah-- it happened to me too. I had an early morning class in college, I laugh at anything when I'm loopy from waking up. One time I had to leave the classroom to go to the restroom to be polite and not disrupt the class. xD

I don't think they were high, nor they were fake laughing. If you have never went through a time when you could not stop laughing about something by yourself or with a friend, you are missing out because it is the best feeling. The Producers must have been so mad at Jimmy but at least they were entertaining.
I would have LOVED to see how the producers were reacting to everything. Maybe have a split screen with the camera on the producers to see their reaction to how the interview was going. I'm sure some of them couldn't contain their laughter either. It's just so contagious. I've watched it several times and end up laughing so much every time.

As soon as Bradley said "I went to see his bones...", it was a lost cause after that point. There's no recovery from that. May as well let nature take its course, and let it out of your system. To address the "fake" laugh: any of y'all ever watch Jimmy on SNL? He literally cannot keep character. He breaks so easily. He laughs really, really easily, and can't stop even when he needs to. This is what this is, not "fake" laughing. He just laughs a lot.

Camera operators are never working with their arms crossed, camera on a tripod/pedestal or not :P. If any, some might be trying to contain their laughter themselves (I know a camera operator who once came in at work and immediately said to me "Remember, if you have a female reporter with you interviewing a female spokesperson and they get the giggles, you will inevitably start to laugh to, no matter how hard you try." Some might be annoyed because it's taking so long (I think there are like 3-4 camera's on a show like this) and others might be simply having a good time because instead of a reasonably static shot on a show like this the person they need to keep in shot is being unpredictable.
I don’t get why people assume it’s weed making them laugh- weed can give the giggles for sure, but have you guys never had the giggle fits before just sober?! The very definition of a case of the giggles. This once happened to a family member and I in a hospital waiting room. It was the best laughing moment in my entire life and also the most embarrassing. We were laughing so hard, wheezing, snickering and our faces were so red while others in the waiting room kept side glancing at us. What's even funnier is, to this day, I cannot remember why we were laughing or even what triggered it. Best case of the giggles ever. 😁
Caffeinated Nation happened to my sister and I at a funeral. It was super quiet and her tummy started to grumble and we were barely holding it together to keep from laughing. The more you fight it, the worse it gets!
Just yesterday I was out seeing flats for rent and the broker I met had a very high-pitched voice. I couldn’t control my laugh and I kept apologising while trying to suppress my laugh with the weight of 10 elephants. He had a funny side and didn’t mind me. So it became easy for me to stop. It was some good cardio.

Well they might still have done that, and kept the cut as it happened live as well (there are probably 3-4 camera's in the studio, seeing how they seamlessly switch over to close-ups and different viewpoints), knowing this would probably crack a lot of people up.

I LOVE this. To watch them enjoy what they do is one of the best things in the world. Why couldn't this whole segment air the way it played out? Its not often that you see a late night talk show talk about cutting and restarting a segment that looks like its going great. Either way, I'm thrilled this segment was saved and posted!
They aired 6min & it shows the resetting parts, the vid is on the channel w/o 'uncut version'. They probably had time restraints & other segs. would not fit, they would've had to cut something else.

Not that I don't love this either, but that is _all_ Fallon did on SNL. He was just breaking in every skit. It was kind of his charm, actually. Probably the only cast member who could get away with laughing _so much_ during a live broadcast and *not* get fired by Lorne.

I’ve been coming back to this video for 8yrs for a good laugh because it’s so rare to find something this organically funny online. It lifts my spirits every single time!
What makes me sad is that I'm watching this video and laughing my butt off and tearing up. So I decided to look at the comments to see who else is laughing and how they're enjoying this the same way however I see a lot of negativity and accusations about stupid things that I refuse to go in detail about. What happened to laughing because it's funny? Sharing good experiences? We are in a day and age where so much crap is happening as there is and yet we decide to add andor focus on the negativity. Why are we so cynical these days? Just shut up and start laughing!

I don't think they were high, nor they were fake laughing. If you have never went through a time when you could not stop laughing about something by yourself or with a friend, you are missing out because it is the best feeling. The Producers must have been so mad at Jimmy but at least they were entertaining.
I would have LOVED to see how the producers were reacting to everything. Maybe have a split screen with the camera on the producers to see their reaction to how the interview was going. I'm sure some of them couldn't contain their laughter either. It's just so contagious. I've watched it several times and end up laughing so much every time.

To address the "fake" laugh: any of y'all ever watch Jimmy on SNL? He literally cannot keep character. He breaks so easily. He laughs really, really easily, and can't stop even when he needs to. This is what this is, not "fake" laughing. He just laughs a lot.

I just picture the camera guy, editor and producer just standing there, arms crossed, with a "so. Done." expression on their faces. 🤣
Camera operators are never working with their arms crossed, camera on a tripod/pedestal or not :P. If any, some might be trying to contain their laughter themselves (I know a camera operator who once came in at work and immediately said to me "Remember, if you have a female reporter with you interviewing a female spokesperson and they get the giggles, you will inevitably start to laugh to, no matter how hard you try."
Some might be annoyed because it's taking so long (I think there are like 3-4 camera's on a show like this) and others might be simply having a good time because instead of a reasonably static shot on a show like this the person they need to keep in shot is being unpredictable.
The fact that they had to put the hats back on every time they did a retake for continuity... LOL this is comedic gold

The very definition of a case of the giggles.
This once happened to a family member and I in a hospital waiting room. It was the best laughing moment in my entire life and also the most embarrassing. We were laughing so hard, wheezing, snickering and our faces were so red while others in the waiting room kept side glancing at us. What's even funnier is, to this day, I cannot remember why we were laughing or even what triggered it. Best case of the giggles ever. 😁

They aired 6min & it shows the resetting parts, the vid is on the channel w/o 'uncut version'. They probably had time restraints & other segs. would not fit, they would've had to cut something else.
