For the gated Sub, how do you obtain it? Low reverb from the punch or in other ways?

For the gated subs, just take anything that has sub. If your sub sample has too much highs, it gets difficult to get a warm sub tail from it.
However don't just put reverb on a pure sine, then you don't have the overtones that create the rumble.

Always try to see what is similar! The whole sound design in Serum can be done for you too. Besides that it's just duplicating a reverbed sub, playing around with the phasing of the samples & adding that chain of FX afterwards.
It always looks a bit different in another daw, but they're all made to do the same: make music😄
