@@frankdelahue9761not true. The strength of the soldier isn't for "combat" (hasn't been since the invention of the rifle), but rather to carry the equipment on the march. That still hasn't changed, you still need men on the front line, and they still need weapons, ammunition, food etc etc. This has not changed. They just carry different weapons as technology progresses.

I think you don’t entirely understand the logistics required for this. The drones yes, but that can be countered with EMPs, or anti air weapons. Drones on land, no chance. Taiwan is mostly mountainous with limited space for beach landings, these robots probably wouldn’t last on the beach let alone in the mountains.
