I used to do this (trying to switch because of my hand) and it’s incredibly easy to do jumps with it since your hand is able to react to itself and you don’t have to rely on sight when you click a circle.
I tried playing the tutorial and it was dogshit. Low ARs are just too difficult for me so i ended up with a D in tutorial, A in hikaru nara and silver S in mune ga dokidoki in my first days.
I literally started playing osu 6 months ago on a laptop with the mouse pad thingy I haven't really changed my setup because of my lack of money and today i completed my first 5 stars map i feel proud

I know it's a off topic random comment but starting osu in 2016 has made me so thankful to not be starting recently, the 'popular' maps are all kinda crap now when back then you would get variaty and especially the older maps where always a blast to play

Very impressive. I'm a mouse and keyboard player. And found clicking with the mouse while aiming very hard. I am very curious how you spin the spinner in such a small circular movement. I literally move my mouse crazily around the corners of the screen. Would appreciate if someone could tell me how he did that spinner thingy so well with a mouse. Is there a specific way you grab it, etc
Usually I go in smaller circles because my mouse stops counting halfway through when I go with big movements. So just minimal movements mostly from your fingers (not arm) works best for me.

Been playing osu for about 4 years now and I’ve progressed a lot as a mouse player I thought it would be unfair or hard but seriously I’m amazed how alright im doing and seeing myself pass the maps that I thought was “hard” back then
As a fellow player, who started since 5 months, imma say, its pretty impressive BUT you didnt show any Stream Burst Maps, sure some Maps had some 3-4 Bursts but the rest were just jumps and well, they are better for pp
I used to used JUST my tablet (to aim and click, etc) Idk why but the other day i switched to keyboard for the clicking and my acc is way better, and I'm able to play harder maps. It's impressive that he's able to click only using his mouse. That's kinda insane.
@@felicia2644 it seems to be personal preference, we have some very good mouse players who developed really fast, Andros is the current beast. Fcsky is one, Ravlica is another. FlyingTuna did really well with mouse but couldn't deal with mousedrift ^^ The biggest difference in my estimation is that mice weigh more and therefore might drain your stamina faster and depending on sensitivity you might have to use your arm to aim. But then again, there are some really light mice out there these days. I'm doing fine with an LG pro wireless. Edit: also the guy you responded to said he switched from tablet to mouse and did better lol.
Its not that difficult, I did 6* on 2 month of game, it depends of the map and the way u like to play... you can suck trying to do FC like me and play to complete them.. its fun, but rlly bad for your rank
@@icrashucrash9585 practice, beeing confident to go for harder maps and playing for fun more than ranking. You need to be able to use both fingers: zxzxzx. I started single tapping and strings were imposible. For jumps is easier to single tap at first ;) Gud luck

I do not know if I can compare myself to him, but I started 2 weeks ago from 2 stars, and then gradually to high 4 stars and now I have a bit of focus on 5 star levels since I have completed 2 somehow. It’s actually more surprising that he did that with only mouse, and not keyboard. Very good video!

For 3 star maps all you need to do is practice different maps long enough At one point slowly start doing 4 stars without NF Basically,just improvement with time
i play with mouse and keys and i got my 3* FC In Just Under A 2 Weeks and also on the same map (Wishing Well) with good accuracy and i was really proud of it as a high 7 digit cause it worth 11PP
As a K & M player this perfectly Mirrors my increase over the course of 6 months however for me it was like a 1 star increase per moth where I was actually playing (last couple months I didn’t play much), curentley I’m at late 3str to early 4str. EDIT: also if anyone is curious about how much I play, I try to play for 1-2 hrs a day now relative to the inconsistent play amounts I’d pull for like the first 3 months, so currently my account has 18 hrs of gameplay.

I play mouse only as well. Started last year. But I'm not much dedicated to play for rank. I just hop in find some songs i like (well I rarely find a map for it cuz they are primarily English). Then once in a while if i like some random anime opening i download that and play it or join a random online lobby to get some better maps to play. 60% of the songs i have downloaded are ones which I don't even know cuz they are Japanese. But the rhythm is enough for me to like it. Btw if you are wondering my rank is around 720k.

I'm mouse player only too. My first map was 3,62* (76.59% accuracy) , in first 3 days I learnt how to play with both fingers (my finger control was really good for the beginner), then on 4th day I beat 4.7*, then just was playing 4,5-6* maps for two mouths on C. And only at the beginning of May I returned to learn the basics and in few days I greatly increased my accuracy and now I working on my consistency and aim. That's a almost 3d 16h of playtime and I have only 1200pp tho😅

Take me 1 years just to FC a 3 stars maps with using a mouse and buttons... And it's only takes 6 months for you to FC a 7 stars maps with a mouse. You are a icon man.

I'm new to osu, and I just wanna ask, do osu pro players still play the one star maps that they used to play when they were a newbie?
I'm mouse player only too. My first map was 3,62* (76.59% accuracy) , in first 3 days I learnt how to play with both fingers (my finger control was really good for the beginner), then on 4th day I beat 4.7*, then just was playing 4,5-6* maps for two mouths on C. And only at the beginning of May I returned to learn the basics and in few days I greatly increased my accuracy and now I working on my consistency and aim. That's a almost 3d 16h of playtime and I have only 1200pp tho😅
All pro osu players moving on to fps games are like straight up Z for shooting and X for the reload

@@toffifeefairy77 well every time i watch shigetora/cookiezi my motivation goes high or the will to be good as him so i just play play now i can play 4-5* hopefully later months i can play 6*-7* without any probs
