Fun fact: When they were on the train heading to Ennies Lobby and Paulie told to the other 2 Galley workers that he knew who were the CP9 guys, they said: go ahead, tell us, we have a rough idea as to who it is. But when Paulie said they were Lucci and Kaku they shocked and said: "OMG but u said they went back to their hometown!! We thought it was Michael and Hoichael from the backstreets!!!" and paulie was like 'wtf who the hell are those?!?!' xD now we know who they are

Also the 2 trainstation workers were talking about them as well when preparing the train for the mysterious government people.
Michael and Hoichael might legit be my favorite background joke in One Piece.
I always loves when Oda do this at the end of an Arc, the reveals moments are easily one of the best moments in the series.
Love how they just got done fighting CP9 but Garp moves faster than they can see. Also remember Aokiji said he knew Luffys grandpa at the beginning of the arc.
now you entered the part in OP where luffy and the strawhats went from green pirates on the blue seas to fledgling legends on the rise.
Ya this is one of the reasons why We've been Name dropping Garp so much recently plus he's just a great character

I can't remember which one piece game it is But when you play as a Zoro, The map and mini map gets blurred out so you can't tell where you're going It's all pixelated.

Zoro's overall output damage would decrease when only using two swords when he is proficient in using the three sword style. The sword that was destroyed is a tier above normal no-name sword and it definitely added even a little bit to his overall power. So yeah, this really does bites.
I always wondered when Franky, one of the only people who has the designs of Pluton in memory built the ship, was there anything he took from that design to build the new ship.

A manga reader might know more but while the sword Zoro lost maybe wasn't legendary it was still a very good sword that has been an heirloom in the guys family. It just kinda hurts losing that gift when remembering "what's wrong with entrusting ones dreams to another man?" (Or something like that). I think he would be proud of Zoro though.

It was a brief encounter though, I only remember it because I've seen OP and reactions an embarrassing amount of times.
