Honestly questioning... I think what Carolyn did to Jumin probably made Jumin hate his mother to the point he doesn't even care. I feel like he knew how messed up his mom was and thought that she was lying. Some info I found browsing the wiki : - Carolyn has too much ambitions; she's a gold-digger and married Jumin's father just for the sake of producing the best heir with the best genes - Carolyn didn't even once bother to call Jumin (contrary to V's mom who at some point decided to reach out for V because she realized she loves him even if she wasn't able to hold V much) - The divorce between Jumin's parents was something most likely gossiped by everyone; Carolyn demanded a huge compensation from the divorce to the point that the media portrayed it as "love's betrayal" - It's said that Carolyn is the one who initiated Jumin's avoidment towards women, even more enhanced by Chairman Han's womanizing tendency - Jumin said that Carolyn can never keep anyone by her side for long, and thus why even Jumin's father would divorce her - Carolyn looks down on MC until MC shows signs that she could be from a rich and powerful family - Carolyn says that emotions are useless and never bother to be a mother to Jumin - Carolyn forced Jumin to play with toys just because Jumin sounded like some robot - Jumin did blame his mom for making him the way he is because his therapist told him to ignore her for her actions Idk what else to add.
