I got into bodybuilding as a sport/ hobby, natural! Then I got caught up in the hype through the magazines. In my ignorance I thought I could achieve those results if I worked hard. Went to a ex-pro bodybuilder who had a gym on Chicago’s Northwest side who looked at me and said nice beach body but that I’d never make it on a stage and that I needed another 40 lbs of muscle! I walked away disappointed and in the locker room as I was changing I got into a conversation with a dude who was also changing but he looked like a behemoth and I shared with him what the ex-pro had told me. And he said you know there is a way for you to add 40 lbs of muscle so fast it’ll make your head spin! I asked him naively, how? He said juice! Juice I asked? Yeah steroids he whispered. I can get some for you but it’ll cost you! He gave me his number, I never called and never went back. Was I tempted? Yes, but I figured that I’d gotten into this whole fitness thing for good health reasons so it didn’t make sense to start ingesting a substance that was going to destroy my health! Stayed with the fitness but chose a different path as my bodybuilding aspirations disappeared!
This is the fakest sounding story I’ve read. The whole conversation plays out like what you’d expect to see in a sitcom/adult cartoon segment. “So fast it’ll make your head spin” - Yep, this is what people say in locker rooms. 🤦♂️

@@rodserling4106 the anabolic to androgenic ratio of a compound has zero to do with it being prescribed or not. @d0rraj How am I cheating? I'm not competing against anyone. I'd argue that in some instances PEDS can prolong your health and longevity. Lets say you tear a pec. The natty might take 2 months to recover and in the process develop scar tissue, making the injury a lifelong issue. The ehanced athlete would just take HGH, Tb500 and bpc157. They would recover in 3 weeks and scar tissue would be minimal, so they won't have to worry about re-injuring it in he future while the natty will be more susceptible to the same injury.
A couple points about Tony and bodybuilding: He gets a lot of backlash for being outlandish with his PED use. He often uses himself as a "lab rat" to test minimums and extremes. He does in fact use an extreme amount of PED's at times He looks "normal" in pics/videos, but he is actually quite big for his size (he's 5' 8" or 5' 9") Bodybuilding's demand for PED's largely stems from the fanbase demanding a "bigger, leaner, freakier" physique. Bodybuilding organizations have had zero advocation for the health/treatment related to the exuberant amount of mental health problems in the sport. Final note: JRE podcast all day/all night.
So… around 2 years ago I started my journey with weight loss and going to the gym. I went from 40% body fat to right now at 20.1%. No supplements taken, besides vitamins, whey and pre-workouts. I still look quite small compared to the other people in the gym. But what I have noticed a lot of them have a huge belly. Why is that?
Excessive use of Growth hormones, but if a lot of people look like this in your gym you must really look out of place, or it could just be they have 20 percent bodyfat and are not that lean
When she said she watched someone take steroids and their body changed in front of her I knew she was totally full of it. That is not how steroids work at all and she demonstrates the ignorance of the masses who literally know not one steroid and believe you take them and sit around eating French fries all day. There is a ton of work that most people would consider literal torture that a person has to go through every day to utilize the performance and physical enhancement properties of steroids. Most people can't name one steroid but they are all analogs of Testosterone and far less deadly when used properly than taking Tylenol or any prescription drug loaded with side effects. Not saying take Vitamin S, but it is not what people think it is. I had a great Aunt die from taking too much Prednisolone a quack doctor gave her the Rx for.....

@@rodserling4106 This is my new copypasta
He uses them so he can sustain healthy levels. These dudes are walking around with more test then 20 men lol.
@@rodserling4106 Endogenic (body produced) testosterone is set as the reference value 100 anabolic and 100 androgenic, and all other AAS (anabolic androgenic steroids) are compared to it. A legit prescription is always testosterone, and there is no difference how the body reacts to endogenic vs supplemented testosterone. Unnaturally high testosterone is harmful, but not to the liver. There's a great book on the subject: Anabolics by William Llewellyn.
@@rodserling4106 the anabolic to androgenic ratio of a compound has zero to do with it being prescribed or not.
Example....testosterone is actually fairly androgenic compared to its anabolic properties. 100:100.
That's why many bodybuilders keep testosterone at medium levels and really rely on more anabolic compounds with less androgens activity..such as primobolan.
Steroids ARENT made for horses and bulls. There are a very short few which started that way, and many that work for humans aswell as animals..just like thousands of other medications.

@@lowkeyjc2347 "dope" means "use performance enhancing drugs" in this context. Dunno if people say it outside the UK.
I always thought the Olympics were the strictest of testing and being clean
@@MiggsMultiple They still test, and people/countries still get banned for doping. But, there's ways around it. The sad thing is, China for instance, recruits kids at a very young age, and starts giving them PEDs (Performance Enhancing Drugs) once they start puberty; and they get away with it.

"do you know what ronnie coleman is" at 6:20 hahahah
Why the fuck is there no video on the spotify xbox app
A couple points about Tony and bodybuilding:
He gets a lot of backlash for being outlandish with his PED use.
He often uses himself as a "lab rat" to test minimums and extremes.
He does in fact use an extreme amount of PED's at times
He looks "normal" in pics/videos, but he is actually quite big for his size (he's 5' 8" or 5' 9")
Bodybuilding's demand for PED's largely stems from the fanbase demanding a "bigger, leaner, freakier" physique.
Bodybuilding organizations have had zero advocation for the health/treatment related to the exuberant amount of mental health problems in the sport.

When she said she watched someone take steroids and their body changed in front of her I knew she was totally full of it. That is not how steroids work at all and she demonstrates the ignorance of the masses who literally know not one steroid and believe you take them and sit around eating French fries all day.
