Thank you so much!! The „t“ pedal is an effect stop as we‘d call them over here. It activates a quint in the Subbass 16 (as far as I know) and is supposed to sound like a drum. But honestly, the pedal itself is louder than the sound the stop makes 😂
Sometimes reed stops can jump an octave in pitch when they're not in tune. The tuning wire against the vibrating tongue can hit a place on the metal piece that produces a pitch roughly an octave down. It's all about harmonics and such. It's not an effect that can be capitalized on either because the accidental sub octave pitch won't be properly in tune. I believe that's what happened here anyway. It's possible there's some other issue occluding the speech of the resonator, but the octave shift thing is something I've encountered tuning organs in the past, so that's my guess based on what I'm hearing.
Can you explain to me what a gamut is? And how the letter on the button correspond to the sound? I mean, they don't sound like normal scale on normal keyboard.
The fact that he didn't play the last note!!! I'm dying over here and must hear it!!!!
Nooooo, I did - I promise! The last button is some kind of drum and does not use the Bombarde stop 😀
Marked with a "T" for tambor, Spanish for drum, makes sense. @@PaulFey
I have never seen that kind of pedal board before
Pedal "mushrooms" typical on early Spanish organs.
@@dr.henrykarlscherrchiropra3775how to they play flats and sharps
They are called contras
Those scare me
Sounds fantastic; I bet it sounds even better in person! 😇
awesome! 😍
What about the last pedal??
Wow!)) Basso profundo 🎉
Danke
Do this type of pedals not include the 'black keys'? I don't see them around
They don’t include the „black keys“ so you are pretty limited when choosing literature to play 😀
“Little” unknown treasures
As someone with perfect pitch, I know that that pedalboard is one step flat. Also that is an exceptional pedalboard!
Standard pitch of A=440Hz is a relatively recent thing. This organ is not at all recent.
Interesting pedal knobs! Why are they labelled "C, D, E", not "ut, re, mi"? And is the last one really a D, not a C?
Wait a minute. I don't see penguins on your socks!
Yes - noticed SHOES! What happened ? 😮
what a weird pedalboard... beautiful sound though!
😊❤️❤️❤️
😮
Can you do "the 7 trumpets"
No sharps huh?
Warum neuen Sie nie Namen der Kirche und den Ort, wo die Orgeln sind?
Alle Namen und Orte stehen jeweils in den langen Versionen der Videos auf meinem Kanal.
@@PaulFey Danke
Should make a distinctive phone call tone - speeded up a bit!
Lovely! What’s the lowest “T” note? Or is it like the “Orage” pedal on French organs or something like that?

@@PaulFey thanks! Still pretty cool idea!
It mean's terratrèmol (earthquake)
I've always thought that most French organ stops were voiced to mimic a storm or an explosion.
En que país está éste órgano y de que año es su construcción por favor
España, 1762
Never seen. Very interesting. Probably difficult to be played!
Andererseits das Kontra E klingt wahrhaftig nach einem Subkontra-E, interessant!
Du hast das "terratrèmol" vergessen😮 😉
Where are the pedals ?
the buttons are the pedals
First it sounds like a tripod
What? Buttons? :D
they are called contras
Bizarre leg keyboard
What happened to the low E? Also, it's terribly out of tune. But it was interesting how resonant the notes were/

XVlll столетие? Играли только в до-мажоре?
Tf that sounded like a double bass
You should've pressed the gamut pedal as well 😢

Wow! Where is this?
Santanyí, Majorca, Spain
Thanks!
@@gregorygore2942 My pleasure

Diese Knöpfe 😅
not really...
Show me a better one 😂
@@PaulFey I could to that.
@@EwicoCylinder Well, prove it then 😂
We organists at Julliard now call the Bombard, "Das Bidenfahrt" stop.
Sounds just like what HRH Camilla experienced at close hand.
