As a 10 year old,the 1966 World cup final and Geoff's 3 goals is something I will never forget health willing. What a lovely guy,I hope he gets to live to 100 and beyond.
Two things: (1) Beckenbauer scored the first German goal against England in the 1970 WC two minutes before (not after) Bobby Charlton was replaced. (2) VAR is not bad for teams that are beaten unfairly.
