All MEB cars have a holder for CCS cap. There a round part on the inside of the cover (you put the cap over it in this video). In the middle there is just a hole and you can put the CCS cap inside it with a nice fit.
I live near Mlada Boleslav (there is a Skoda plant there), I can see these cars every day, as high level employees are given them at a low rental price. Quite nice cars, I would definitely consider getting one if I were to buy an EV. edit: but the lighted grill is stupid and looks stupid...
Adaptive headlights are those that can sway based on the steering, curve light. Matrix means it can turn off certain parts of the beam to not blind other drivers. Then there are adaptive headlights with matrix, that can do both.
I bought 2years old "old" Enyaq RS Coupe befro fw month for only 60% price of new one. Still 3years warranty. Yeah only 92% SOH, but for that money ultimate comfy car. Love it 😍
In hot climates the balance between battery temperature control and HVAC cabin cooling are borderline, especially if stationary and having been sitting in the sun. TM3 with heat pump, after an hour in the sun at 40c leaves the HVAC seriously compromised till out on the open road for 20 minutes. Preconditioning for 20 minutes is essential, though not 100%. Tesla’s iPhone shortcuts through Siri +- Apple Watch to start the preconditioning.
Regarding the High Beam Assist, I have the same experience as you Bjørn and checked the manual which has a note that says that: When driving on a motorway with a guardrail in the middle, the system will not always recognize oncoming cars because the lights are covered by the guardrail!
@@Tom-bp6no I don't know for sure, but according to the manual it looks like it's in the headlight. But there are also light assistance sensors in the windscreen (together with the camera)...
Still watching the video but at 29:00 you say that the car under-reports by 4% and because of that you have to go to 996 km. Shouldn't it be 960 km? Maybe you meant 0.4%?

I would love to see what the Mg Marvel R Rwd would do in the 1000km challenge. I have one my self and it has through the entire summer always done better than the wltp which is 402 km. It is a slow charging car but it would still be interesting to see how it would perform again similar priced cars. Love your work , keep it up Björn..
I think this cooling issue is maybe, because it usually expects you to start your journey. So, turning the cooling of the moment is not necessarily a bad idea, because you will cool using winds while driving. So there is a comfortpart included for the driver, because cooling is also noisy. Just an idea.
I’ve concluded the Nisse left lane hoggers (we have them here in NL too) are on autopilot, following the exact same behaviour they have when they commute Mon to Fri.. they come out on the highway and immediately go tot left lane.. on days where the roads are empty.. they operate on auto pilot and do exactly the same… I pass them on the right as well…
Interesting. Just had a 700km drive today in my 2023 Enyaq 80 RWD with 135 kW batterry I think LG. I was not taking scientific measurements, but I had a session at 42 degrees ambient, taking 141-142kW from charger at start (I think 17ish%) but continuing at 120ish up to over 60%, 100kW up to 75ish%. So probably overall similar perf to this newer model. Is it possible that there are multiple battery variants of the 80? I haven't seen such a curve documented. Very happy to have gotten my 80 at a big discount as the 85 came out. Have to wait for a winter though to see the coldgate troubles. Should I try to document the charging in more detail? Is it interesting at all or have I missed some past record of the 80?
Hello, is car equipped with the heat pump??? The R744 is less efficient in cooling compared to normal refrigerant. Iny Enyaq I have not observed rapid gate ( I have refrigerant 1234yf without heat pump)

I would have liked to order the Enyaq but went for another Model Y, cause I have no interest in these flaws.

Just rotate the Pepsi 90 degrees. No more bottle cap problems. 😂
I hate the caps too. What is it actually good for?
Environment, or rather the environmental pigs who don't care.
Recycling - keeps bottle and lid together so they both get recycled.

So ABRP was spot on with energy usage copering to Bjorn table. This is very inpressive

What a great product. Skoda for the win.
Tesla Model Y LR 20,7 kWh / 100 km, the Skoda took 23,7 kWh / 100 km, similar conditions - any questions left regarding efficency?
Yes why was the Y RWD so bad then and during the range test LR and Enyaq was on par?

The top charge power doesn’t matter as much as the curve. Like Tesla promises over 220kw but still can’t keep up with these new VAG batteries.

Standard in Norway.
What speed are you driving in the test. I only see your average speed including charging. My enyaq will arrive in three weeks time, so I’m curious.
Maybe my next therapy car is Skoda.

Butt plug firs in the hole slightly left of were you tried on the charge port😉
Doesn't ABRP tell you when you've charged enough and are ready to go?
Greetings from a Belgian who can only aknowledge that our roads are very noisy (understatement: read: terrible)
You said car underreports by 4%, so thats 960km not 996km (thats 0.4%), so you went 36km too far... so that would be 10-20minutes shorter
