Whether you came here after hearing this on Love or because you were one of the many who bought Fever to Tell 20 years ago, I salute you. You have fantastic taste in music! This makes me miss the indie music scene of the early aughties. 2002 - 2009 is such an underrated period in the history of rock.
I AM whole, so i could tell you all about it. AH! When you are whole you dont really long for anyone. But, as human beings we need interaction from other humans just like all other species need interaction from their kind. When you are whole you see the world as it is, and you may lose desire for romance and affection. But, when you are whole you see that the world needs your talents, gifts, positive energy, etc. It brings you joy and contentment to share these, to help the world because to some extent you love people and want to help. So, in doing your prescribed duty you receive the positive interactions and encouragement needed, and fulfill your duty(it is each persons duty to share their talents, gifts, positive energy, etc). So, yeah when you are whole you dont long for anyone, but you long to fulfill your duty, and by doing so persistently, and persevering in persistence you achieve a high vibration & a certain standard of giving & receiving positive interactions & encouragement.
