- In this Cricket 22 video, I have explained how the swing & fast bowling works in the game, in a detailed manner.
This is a video game and not an actual cricket match.
I use my own voice to do the commentary for my gameplay videos and I also edit it in a way to make the game look real and entertaining for the viewers.

Thanks bro!
Bro amazing videos really really useful .. thanxxx
Thanks bro.. appreciate it.. glad it was of use to you 🙂
Helpful bro thank you
🤗welcome bro
Excellent video....Just conceptually i still don''t understand the seam angle selection part.....what does the curve with the 2 arrows in the ball exactly represent? because i noticed that the location of this curve changes with the type of delivery..for example in Out swing its on the left half of the ball, in In-swing its on the other half...would be great if someone could explain this because I couldn't find any help on the game tutorial itself. Thanks!
I haven't used Pro control for bowling in ages, but I think you are referring to the finger position. As the position of fingers differ for both out and in swing. I will check again
@@RahulRants yessir, exactly that!
I wish you could make a tutorial on how to constantly hit the stumps, I'm struggling with that, so that I can either get bowled or LBW
There’s no real trick to it. You just have to use some real world knowledge of bowling, field sets the batter’s strength etc.
Obviously there is a limitation to what we can do in the game but basically look at what kind of pitch it is, what kind of strength your bowler has etc and bowl accordingly.
In tests bowl a channel consistently rather than trying different stuff every ball and the. Slip in a surprise delivery.
@@RahulRants I see, thanks, I'll definitely try the element of surprise
@@patrick17_6 yea in test cricket it’s better to just stick to a line/length. Sometimes if I find out a batsman is struggling against short length i try bouncers after bouncers with 3 fielders out in the deep and in between slip in a straight full delivery.
Worked many times.
But yes it’s not easy to get those bowled / lbw wickets
Great tutorial, very well explained. Thanks!
Thank you so much!
Which timing section is best to press the button on? Thanks
Dark green- even light green will do.
Good video, thanks! Is it possible to control how much the ball will swing or cut or spin?
I think the only way to do that is in slider settings where you can set the swing movement. For ex - while playing in Eng / NZ I set it to around 90.
However, if I am right about what you are asking, you can't control the swing on a ball-by-ball basis. Same with spin. It's more of a lottery. You can play around with line and pitching a bit so that the ball doesn't move too far away from the batsman but that's about it.
thank you
Welcome 🙂
Bro I want to purchase cricket 22 but it costs 3k which is too much do you know when will be the next steam sale in upcoming days or can you recommend any other legitimate site to purchase cricket 22 pc version at lesser cost??
Hi Bro, actually Big Ant is quite insisiten that they won’t be reducing prices anytime soon. Only other option is if you have an xbox pass subscription on PC..cricket 22 is available there. Subscription cost is also around 700-800 per month but from time to time xbox releases an offer where you can basically get 8 months subscription for under 600 rs total . You have to look out for that it happens quite frequently
I find it a little ironic that you have made a detailed video on after touch when I can never get your dad to touch me after.
Please also tell on xbox controller which buttons use to deliver a ball
I use standard control for bowing with xbox controller. There is no single button. You have to chose your line and length using Left Stick and then select the type of delivery using “A,B,C,Y”
@@RahulRants thanks for your help it worked.

Bro which control to use to get that aftertouch.
which control are you using, arcade, standard or pro?
Please do a video about how to take wickets in cricket 22 with spinner please
Unlike other tutorials, wickets are totally dependent on conditions and hard to be taught. You just have to use real world experience.
For spinners in limited overs cricket once the field is out it’s easy to get wickets if you have 3 fielders on the offside boundaries and keep bowing on the 4th stump line.
However u also have to use variations and also check each batsman’s strength and weakness and set field accordingly
Bro can you tell what's the best Yorker length, with the help of marker.
Are you using arcade control? Alright, what I have found most useful is the ball just dipping in front of the shoes or in line with the batsman’s stance. If it’s too full and end up as full toss, you could go for runs.
Always ensure to swing the ball though. Standard yorker bowling might go for runs. I have managed to bowl a lot of maiden overs by bowling yorker and swinging the ball away from the batsman-- pls take a look at this video, you’ll understand-ua-cam.com/video/udyGalgv2Uw/v-deo.html
@@RahulRants ....Bro I'm using standard controls in ps4
Bro for standard control there is no option to put marker na.. I have used standard control for this video..
@@RahulRants bro marker is shown for selecting line & length of the ball before delivering
Bro pls check if it’s still standard control. Coz for pc its arcade control where marker is shown for selecting line and length. Check is your fast bowling control is set to standard .. if yes then that’s strange😲
What camera setting are you using for bowling ?
Broadcast 3
Sorry for the late reply. I was using Broadcast 1 on this video. Not sure why I typed it wrong before. Apologies.
batting tutorial??
It says jump too
Bro which camera angle you used for pace bowling?
Broadcast 1
@@RahulRants Bhai lekin jab broadcast 1 use karta tu tab jab bowler ki run-up lambi ho tab ball dalne se pehle pitch aur marker nahi dikhta. Toh use kaise solve Karu?
That’s an issue with certain fast bowlers only. Like, Mitchell Starc. But for most other bowlers run up proper dikta hai.
Ye marker issue Arcade bowling control me hota hai yes, but I don’t use arcade bowling so muje wo issue nahi hai. Arcade bowling control me then you have to use other cameras, unfortunately.
@@RahulRants ok
Hi bro how to do the slo mo in reply like in review tell me
On controller, press the left stick (middle part) during replays and it will slow down
Is it better to use arcade bowling or standard
Its really about preference bro.. but u cnt use standard if u dnt have controller .. also pro control is also there
In my opinion standard and pro are better than arcade. But it takes time to practice
Hi ,
I downloaded cricket 22 from steam. Ashes series and ' play now ' works but when i click on competition and if i select any game from competition it stays in "overview " and doesnt move to "fixture" . Only " go back " option works . Its for pc. Can you help me in this ? Thanks 🙏
Not sure what's the issue as when you select any competition, for ex ONE DAY WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP, the next screen shows the teams and then on top of you the "proceed" option. Click on Proceed and it will take you forward!
Yes . After clicking proceed it goes to overview , next to it is “fixture” I pressed A and D and other buttons . It doesn’t work . The only option it shows “go back “ which is escape button
You have to go to the “fixtures” tab next to overview by pressing 1/3 buttons then toggle the fixtures and play the games
@@RahulRants bro what button I need to use to go to “fixture” ?? Because the only button which shows is Esc button which is go back

Bro I can’t any wicket with pace bowling......Please tells how to get 10 wicket
There are no tricks like that bro.. just use different strategies, field settings based on the batter's weakness / strength, vary the line / length and aftertouch....
Bro how to take a catch every time
I drop a catch ?
Better make it automatic.
Bhai ball ka release "good" hona chahiye ya fir "ideal"? Konse release par bowling acchi hogi?
Ideal is always better than good
@@RahulRants thanks bro 👍
can you tell how to seam the ball
Seam is the movement of ball after the seam hits the pitch, since it is uncontrollable the option is not there in the game. All you can do is, bowl the standard delivery which means the seam will be upright and then if the bowler has the seam movement skill in their skill set it will move the ball :-) You can control the off cutter / leg cutter though
@@RahulRants man such a fast reply
keep it up bro you’re gonna be big
Thanks bro!
Can we change camera angle while bowling
Do you mean, you wanna change your bowling camera like the batting camera?
Yes
Yes - go to settings in main menu and then chose the camera settings.
You can do it while in the game as well by going to general settings
How to set that much close replay?
You can press RB/R1 on your controller to zoom in
@@RahulRants Thank you

@@RahulRants ok bro.. I will check
@@RahulRants batting tutorial hai pro mode
I hate this bowling thing man wheres the basic circle and you aim where u want to bowl then just get it right on the marker!
I don’t use arcade bowling. Standard always for me and sometimes Pro
@@RahulRants is that the old school bowling thing where you just control a circle and aim where you want to bowl rather than use analog stick rubbish
Yes, that's arcade. but it's very limited compared to pro / standard as to controlling the swing etc.
