But I ended up liking addison in the end. She wasn't so bad but she wasnt for Derek.
As a guy, I detest the Sheppard character. I liked the choose me statement, because he was trying to keep her as plan B. He need to make a choice. I did not like her character when she gave him the cookies at that hospital prom. Even it is but a of beg, I see it as more a rebuke to him as well.
Self-depreciating is the one word that sums up what you said. Where's her dignity? I know love makes you weak and lower your normal course of firmness in these areas but it is humiliating to want someone you beg for. I've done it before so I'm not knocking her, but women lock your heart up and throw away the key. In this situation I feel like the man isn't to blame. He loves his wife. That's what he supposed to say. NO. Doesn't make him cruel or mean unless he calling you names.
For him to say at the end he wish Meredith would understand his hesitation of signing the divorce papers. Are you kidding me? He was gonna tell Meredith minutes before Addison walked in that he was married and yet she supposed to understand? Men thought process is really crazy sometimes.
