The difference with canelo and ali is that they are masters: when you master the rules you can break them effectively. When youve never come close to mastery then breaking the guard rails of orthodoxy just makes you ineffective.

It's quite ironic that Logans gameplan in his previous fights have been to constantly clinch, and now Danis strategy is too focus on the clinch. I could predict a very boring fight if both of them are constantly hugging.
He only was because KSI and Floyd were putting pressure on him so he wanted to clinch to break it, but Dillion doesn't seem the type of guy to put a lot of pressure on his opponent I think its gonna be logan being on dillion throughout the whole fight

@@xmark2411KSI pressure as well as his power was the one of the major reason why Logan was hesitant in that fight as well as his Cardio, problem is i don't think danis has the power to hurt Logan, i don't think danis has even close to as much power as KSI and he definitely does not have more than Floyd, and Dillon has to slip inside in order to work in the clinch meaning that Logans Jab is gonna be a problem for Dillon and even if he gets past the Jab it is a possibility that he will be caught with something nasty on the way in a hook or an uppercut, dillond is gonna take some hitts if he wants to get inside and trust that his chins is good enught to take the damage and wether the storm, tthere is always chans in boxing but i don't see Dillon winning this but who knows mabie i will be proven wrong and he will surprise me.

Bivols style works well well against a counter puncher like Canelo, especially when you have the speed in the punches Bivol has, but as soon as it comes to pressure (I.e. KSI for Logan, Frazier for Ali, every single time Ali was knock down in his career it was from a left hook on the inside) this style struggles. Now is Danis the one to exploit that, with the amount of time he's been boxing compared to Logan probably not, but there are severe weaknesses to this style.
Ali then beat Frazier too more times.
@@thenigeriantrain yeah and how did he win it, was it focusing on the same style... No it was adapting as much as he could, showing some of the best footwork and head movement boxing has ever seen, something neither Bivol and espcially logan does not possess. Not to mention Ali barely survived the 3rd fight. Trying to act like this was easy for Ali or he had got Fraziers number is silly. He wanted to throw in the towel in round 14 but his corner just made him go out again.

@@thenigeriantrain not really it was still one of Ali's hardest fights against a Frazier not at his best. Again Ali did not win that fight by just doing the same thing, he had to change his game plan and as I said his footwork and head movement in that fight even in that first fight, well out paces anything we have ever seen from Bivol and there is no point in even mentioning Logan.

I have to respectfully disagree in regards of Muhammad Ali, Keep in Mind Ali Took a lot of Unnecessary damage Using his Low loose guard. Thats why he couldn’t speak or move after fighting. And obviously i know you wasnt DIRECTLY comparing Ali to logan the same way Shannon briggs did lol but still
With what we know about CTE now, I’d say Ali’s training throughout his career, would have contributed to his condition in later life as much as the fights he took a lot of damage in.
When I started boxing in my teens, sparring was basically fighting; punches were not pulled, and everyone sparred a lot. That adds up …
I moved over to kickboxing and MMA after that, and the training approach was so different. If you were actively fighting, you never really did any hard sparing. And if you weren’t actively fighting regularly, then you would hard spar every couple of weeks at most (even then, more fast sparring than hard - so basically full speed, but controlled and pulled punches in terms of power.
Rarely had headaches or anything like that when I was training a lot, and just a totally different atmosphere in the gym. Thai style basically, but applied to MMA training too. Much healthier, and you also learn much quicker via technical sparring than hard imo.
