Hi Ava! With the skin on the doll after the nail buffer you could do a thin layer of glossy mod podge to make it shiny and smooth again. Hope this helps! ❤
You should cut black leather into a small line but before u do that u have to measure the doll body when you’re done make the leather line then it could fit in the loops of the jeans. HACKS FOR DOLLS!!
Keep buffing her skin with the lowest grit on the nail buffer. It will 100% work with patience. Also, to cut shine, a lot of people use a matte spray sealer. Mr Super Clear is the best, but you have to use it outside and use protection. There are other safer options. You can also spray the super-shiny arms. ♥
The nail buffer does work, but you need either the fine /fine/ grit or you need one of those four step buffer blocks and work our way down to the finest grit. It's gonna take some patience and time, but it will smooth out her chest.
There is a great hack for applying the tattoos with a nail stamper. Try searching for ‘how to apply water decals with a stamper’. Hope that will help 😉
I use metal hair accessory rings for doll bracelets. It's amazing how many cool hacks you can find for the dolls. Love the bird tattoos. And of course the bee necklace 🐝🐝❤️
OMG!!! ★~(◡△◡✿) I love how everything turned out! And that Skirt and hair clips!!!! (✿ ♥‿♥) STAWP! They turned out the cutest! ALSO why are Ava’s nails literally always the best?
Maybe a plain chain bracelet where you could clasp or hook it to any link therefore tightening it (depending on the type). Or, just modify it if you do not need it anymore. Love this video!
Woah! I LOVE your chrome nails!!!💅 0:23 Gorgeous!!!❤ Sorry I can’t watch the full vid rn, today’s my birthday party (my birthdays the 24th) so I gotta go get ready! But I can’t wait to watch this later! Looks like fun!?🤩 😊❤
Try using a nail stamper next time you do a tattoo. When you’re wetting it to remove it from the paper, place it on the stamper. Then turn it around and you can see through the stamper head to place it more accurately (and it should fit the contours of the doll body better too) I use this method for placing waterslide decals on my nails lol
May I ask where you found these hacks? Some were useful but I’d like to credit the creators if I do try them out :) I love the barrette one! I did a video on a tattoo hack years ago, I enjoy adding some on my dolls… but only use water to remove them & light scrubbing. Alcohol will work if needed but I wouldn’t recommend anything stronger than that on dolls unless you’re removing their face paint. Many chemicals will melt the bodies of dolls 😂 trust me, I’ve tested many different things 😅
I use the first hack religiously to make petticoats for dresses or skirts, if you put more tule and make a smaller knot, you can actually move around the tule to hide the elastic knot
If you cut the strips so that they're narrower in the middle, like an hourglass shape, your knots will be smaller and your petticoat will be fuller at the bottom and a lot less bulky around the waist and hips of the doll.
I have used the tulle knot method before to make the under layer skirts for doll dresses and ballet tutus. It helps fluff up the skirts and gives them fullness and doesn’t take long to make!😊 also that dress is STUNNING!!!
You’re making me wish I had some tiny hoop earrings. I think maybe some child sized bracelets could be used as belts, it’s an interesting idea for thrifted stuff that you can shorten for the purpose.
Eva, I don't think you used a buffer. That look to me like a nail file, buffers are smooth. As for the bottom part of the dress you could of double the mess.
The hoop earrings as bracelets certainly look WAY better than the plastic junk you get with the dolls and their outfits. Yes, that is a very good hack.
The make it mini food videos are by far my favorite I loved the master chef mini brands to those are my favorite videos to watch of you making the realistic food ❤
Create hack videos PLEASE!! Also does the bracelet belt hack work if you go around the waist a second time? I feel like chain-type bracelets would look cute with hip jeans!
For the belt u could js try to get like a bracelet making kit and make ur own belt adjustable for the dolls waist, and for the jeans u can use like a small strip of leather or fabric to go around it
Fun hacks 👍 My favorite was the tulle skirt 😃 because when my daughter was little we made tulle skirts for her American Girl dolls and they came out looking the same as on your Barbie 😃 #ddsquad
Best I've ever found for helping fix shiny plastic is a very fine grit nail file. However, being she is dark skinned, it may make her skin look lighter. Best to try on an inconspicuous spot first. However, usually a quick dip in boiling water usually fixes any lightness.
If you still want to do the bracelet belt hack you can just get a little peice of wire and tie the bracelet ends together in the back, if it works you could show everyone in a short, hooe that helps!🎉
I turned a whole bunch of inexpensive chokers with tiny charms on them into doll necklaces recently - I just measured a segment of chain to fit the doll’s neck, then cut the links on either side & fastened the new little necklace around the doll with a jump ring from the extender part of the original person-sized choker. You have to bend the jump ring open again to take the necklace off, but it’s easy to do & seemed to work better than using a clasp on a doll-sized necklace, which it was too heavy & pulled the chain backwards.
I love your videos ❤❤ So here are some great tips! 1. When you don't like a dolls hair style or if its in knots, soak the hair in boiling hot water and then apply hair gel, (while its wet) then let it dry and then now, beautiful hair! 2. When u wanna rings on a Barbie (sliding on and off) use a paper clip and cut it so its super
You need to put some elbow grease into buffing out bumpy plastic. And work through 3 or 4 grades of that buff, like you do with nails. Just keep going until you like the result
Just a suggestion for the belts, maybe u can try tape them tighter to hold in place or smth like that, just a thought! Love ur vids - and ur merch (yes I bought literally everything that was in stock🫶🏼)
Please can you make a Barbie hotel😊 I actually made one and I painted it and I like Use a hot glue gun and glue them together and stack them And I used phone board And I made 4 rooms And one of them were a front desk😊so ya.❤#ddsquad
5:15 Ava! She could wear a turtleneck…I have to think of other ways to sand down that bumpy area…I’m going to try to come up with something, than I’ll comment it on your next vid😊❤
Okay so to make the little belt idea work, I think putting like a clear elastic you could make it stay and if you wanted to make it like a double belt because I think it's long enough you could put them like use the elastic and then make it go back around. So like the chain clasp is touching in the front where the other part is also touching in the front if that makes sense
Ava can we plsssss give the first doll you used for the tool dress model her own doll series plsssss she’s my favorite doll of yours and I need her to have her own series or skit anything plssss
You can purchase bracelet adjusters with double openings , they could work for the bracelets I suppose. Rolling the bracelet 2 times could be also an option. I think bracelets might also work as purse handles ☺️ just an idea
the tulle skirt knot is called a lark's head knot - if you make it from thinner pieces of tulle and compact them it makes a GREAT petticoat they don't need to be knotted on elastic, either - i made a skirt a while ago for a American Girl style doll by folding tulle in half and sewing it to a strip of fabric, then folding and sewing the strip down to contain the top of the tulle i don't know how this would work in fashion doll size, though
The temporary tatoos...were they nail art stickers ? Cause that's what I was told to use. I just had to dip in water & then they slid of the paper onto the doll surface. I haven't tried to remove yet. But I assume just like you did, with a wash cloth , water & my nail if needed ? You do your nails a lot, do you know how to remove nail art stickers ? Or do you just use acetone & remove at same time when you remove your polish ?
Buy some cheap bracelets that are chains and remove links to adjust the size. Back in the 80's I bought necklaces and removed links so I could wear them around my boots. I got so many compliments on them.
Doll hacks 1. to remove a temporary tattoo, scratch it away with your nails 2. instead of painting hot glue doll nails, just use colored hot glue sticks 3. to make a Zuru my mini baby a boy, use tan silicone to make two dots-- a peanus. then trim them down 4. use socks to make a long dress 5. to make a tank top, use the bottom of glove 6. use wide shelves for doll rooms
I love watching all of your videos because I’m obsessed with making stuff for my Barbie dolls and trying to and how do you make the stuff I just love it and it helped me so good how to make stuff for my Barbie❤❤ thank you 🥹🥹
Heya Ava, I just wanted to say that I love your vids! I've always loved barbie dolls but my parents threw all mine away once I turned 10 (I'm currently 14). Also we have the same name! But I think a good video you could make is getting little doll versions of band instruments! I'm a clarinetist and I would love to see Emily holding flute or clarinet!
I tried the tool skirt with the hair tie. The waist will fit the doll but it looks too thick. I think a chain link bracelet will work as a belt if you clasp it on the correct link for the doll's waist. It didn't look like you had that type of bracelet though.
Comment any doll hacks that you want me to test!!
Bang hack bun!! Leave a bit of hair out bend it at her forehead the length you want and put a head ban to hold it🎉❤
Heyy lol i luv ur vids u slay ava
Hi Ava! With the skin on the doll after the nail buffer you could do a thin layer of glossy mod podge to make it shiny and smooth again. Hope this helps! ❤
4 u can use bracelet rings for like a belt I am watching for nostalgia and I tried that😊

I love you videos say so much
I LOVED that first skirt! Also those earring-bracelets were genius

#ddsquad I think you pulled these off really well ava ❤
Maybe a plain chain bracelet where you could clasp or hook it to any link therefore tightening it (depending on the type). Or, just modify it if you do not need it anymore. Love this video!

Heeey! W’ssup! I’m back! 2:09 Yeah, that dress is awesome!🤩 ❤Nice vid!😊❤

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

You’re making me wish I had some tiny hoop earrings.

I love ear hoops as bracelets❤️🔥 Brilliant!!!
Eva, I don't think you used a buffer. That look to me like a nail file, buffers are smooth. As for the bottom part of the dress you could of double the mess.
Ummmm who’s Eva?
@@greykitteneyes sorry, Ava😄
THOSE SILVER NAILS ARE SLAYINNN🔥 love you and your video as always!
The hoop earrings as bracelets certainly look WAY better than the plastic junk you get with the dolls and their outfits. Yes, that is a very good hack.

I love the bird tatoos.❤🐦
P.S.
Don't feel bad about the acetone. I've literally done the same thing!😅
Oh my gosh that dress is EVERYTHING it’s so gorgeous ❤
That human size tool dress was soo pretty ❤ did u design it ? It was gorgeous 💗💌 loved the vidd💟

I LOVE UR DOLL'S CLOTHES......
I made one of these tulle skirts in December.😊 I was inspired by an episode on Hell’s Kitchen.
Mine turned out so pretty.👏💚

WAKE UP THE QUEEN HAS POSTED!!!!!❤❤
Love you so much and omg son 1 million ahhh❤❤❤❤❤
Hey missy that hack with the ear rings, I've done as well, great minds think alike x
You need to put some elbow grease into buffing out bumpy plastic. And work through 3 or 4 grades of that buff, like you do with nails. Just keep going until you like the result

I like the earing hack😊
You can use your bracelets with charms as doll purseses
0:34 DID YOU MAKE THAT BECAUSE THE DRESS IS STUNNING
5:15 Ava! She could wear a turtleneck…I have to think of other ways to sand down that bumpy area…I’m going to try to come up with something, than I’ll comment it on your next vid😊❤

the tulle skirt knot is called a lark's head knot - if you make it from thinner pieces of tulle and compact them it makes a GREAT petticoat
they don't need to be knotted on elastic, either - i made a skirt a while ago for a American Girl style doll by folding tulle in half and sewing it to a strip of fabric, then folding and sewing the strip down to contain the top of the tulle
i don't know how this would work in fashion doll size, though
To do the tulle skirt, use smaller pieces and use no roll elastic so that it doesn’t flip or twist. Thanks for sharing the hacks.
THE QUEEN POSTED🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Love your nails. Kloey has used those tattoos on her Barbies 😊
This was a lot of fun❤❤
Omg im so early!!! And them nails are FIREE
These videos are always my absolute favorite! ❤

Not me playing this video while in the middle of doing the exact thing you showed as the first hack 😂
Buy some cheap bracelets that are chains and remove links to adjust the size. Back in the 80's I bought necklaces and removed links so I could wear them around my boots. I got so many compliments on them.
Love you ❤❤❤❤❤
Doll hacks
1. to remove a temporary tattoo, scratch it away with your nails
2. instead of painting hot glue doll nails, just use colored hot glue sticks
3. to make a Zuru my mini baby a boy, use tan silicone to make two dots-- a peanus. then trim them down

The nail buffer works if you’re using a finer buffer or sand paper
Love these 😊
heyyyy! if u don’t mind me asking when is the next emily and friends episode coming out im so investedd
I tried the tool skirt with the hair tie. The waist will fit the doll but it looks too thick. I think a chain link bracelet will work as a belt if you clasp it on the correct link for the doll's waist. It didn't look like you had that type of bracelet though.
love ur nails!!!!!!!! pls open more mini brands
Second hack Yes❤❤❤❤
