As a Dubs fan I can absolutely agree. I love him as a coach. He does absolutely just that. He doesn’t just run a certain system. He coaches according to who has on the roster and putting them in advantageous situations to be successful. He doesn’t get stuck coaching one way unlike Kerr.

Golden St. ran out of gas those last 3 games. Draymond suspension changed the momentum of the series and they could never get it back. Bogut getting hurt was a huge blow. Not only did they lose their rim protection, he was their best screener to get guys open and they ran a lot of their offense through him from the high post because he was such a great passer. Cleveland was the fresher healthier team like Golden St. was the year before and those are typically the teams that end up winning series
Just like in 2015 it was the opposite with Cleveland
Baron Davis is a national treasure. Big ups to Draymond for expanding the show to include BD's voice, which is additive to Dray's insights and temperament.
*Ty Lue Philosophy & game plan is exactly what alot of teams need in today's game* and the 2016, 2020, 2021 Finals are the best in recent years. But *you dont have to switch everything* only the key perimeter players and you sit back on the big and the supporting cast guys.

That’s wild to hear the ptsd Draymond got from that series. Like the game of basketball is like that. I remember I was just playing middle school ball, but one game I hit a game winner and after that I had a real passion for the game. I wanted to be as good as possible off the feeling that shot gave me.

I'd love to hear 2 things from any warriors player. One, explain what specifically draymond would've helped or eliminated that the cavs did in game 5. Also it is never mentioned enough, bogut injury in gm 5. I would love to know what his injury did to the demise of the warriors. He missed the end of gm 6 and all gm 7 which just opened a huge lane for the freight train that was LeBron and kyrie could attack with no paint protection. I honestly, as someone who watches every warriors game, think bogut injury was way more important to the series loss than draymond suspension.
I 100% agree but I think the loss is attributed to 3 things. Definitely losing your 3rd best player for 1 game at home hurts you. 2d the Bogut injury. 3rd Iguodola got hurt too. He had played great in the 2015 finals, he played great defense on Lebron and on 2016 by the end he could barely move. You could see his back was hurting. So he was on the floor but he couldn’t really help the team effectively.
Props to the Cavs cause they still needed to play lights out to come back and win that series but the stars had to align to help them win.
Anytime somebody mention the suspension as an excuse just ask them what would have happened if kyrie n love were in the finals the year before ?

It was but Draymond not being there in game 5 with all the momentum and the defensive intensity he brings high iQ and he can be effective offensively. Also Iqudala back was tight so he wasn’t mobile like he normally was. Listen to what Ty lue said without Draymond there they were able to pick up the defensive intensity

The biggest adjustment they made was to stop letting GS hide Steph Curry when he was on defense. Find the man they want Steph guarding and bring that guy to force him to switch on Kyrie. Last 3 games of that series Kyrie was the most valuable player in the series

You always hear SAS talking about the NBA giving the Cavs a stimulus package for game 5 when Draymond got suspended. I’m not the greatest in math, but the Warriors still had a 3-2 lead with 2 games to go. They only needed 1 win. Never made sense and was just another excuse to try to diminish LeBron’s greatness as if the NBA gifted the Cavs that championship. They still had two games to play. He and Kyrie balled out the series like their lives and legacy depended on it.

First of all, I don't understand why have the Clippers play, travel and play on New Year's Day; I find this very perverse. Then, regarding the Mo Bamba case, despite his large size, he has difficulty playing inside. It's horrible, he leaves space and shoots 3 points, so obviously no interior for rebounds. I think he has a positioning problem with the racket. In the meantime, he needs a strong winger like the player Kai.
