Great idea! You are actually suggesting continuing the occupation as a legitimate strategy. The occupation and brutal repression of Palestinians is the very reason that 10/7 occurred. Unless Israel wants to remain in endless war, with zero chance of ever having security or peace (and judging by the Israeli support for this genocide and the amount of money that Israel makes from being one of the world’s largest arms dealers that may be the goal) they are going to have to face reality, end the occupation, and allow the Palestinians self determination on their terms, not Israel’s.
It simply isn’t possible for Israel to remain an apartheid state, maintaining Gaza as an open air concentration camp and the West Bank and East Jerusalem subject to Israeli military rule forever.
