The H3 move from Magnus was just to stop the bishop from attacking the knight so was a good move if Magnus had a plan with the knight. But overall good game by both.
Had Magnus not taken the time to "be surprised", 45. Qe3+ wins for White, after 45...QxQ, 46. KxQ and knight blocks blacks pawn, doesn't white have 2 pawns to play time increments to queen one of the two pawns--or at least draw?
Can someone check this for me and give this chess fan a good response? OMG at 9:46 Magnus missed the fork Ng6! If he played it after black played d4,he would have had the advantage!😢😢😢 Or so I thought 🤔, after Ng6, dxc3 if NxQ then cxQ and promotion is unstoppable. But if Qc2 then black's queen gives a check and moves the rook.😂😂. Oh my! I have stepped up my calculations! I wish I remember to do this in game😞😞
