Instrument panel light not working on 1993 s10 S 10 s15 S 15 GM GMC

Watch as I diagnose the instrument panel lights not working on this 1993 chevy gm s-10 pickup truck. I know this procedure would be similar for the 1991-1993 and maybe other GM vehicles of this generation and possibly beyond.
I checked the 5a fuse and its good so let's diagnose further and see if the headlight switch or instrument dimmer might be bad. It seems unlikely that all the instrument panel lamps would burn out at the same time so let's diagnose before we get ahead of ourselves. The GM service manual I just purchased will help guide us on what wires are involved
