The reason people stay is because of his personality, not the type of video he makes. I wouldn't watch anyone else do a wish video for example, but when Felix does it it's entertaining and also one of those videos you look forward to watching. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice concept which of course counts, but personality does so much. It's interesting how you can watch the same person for years and not get tired of it.

It’s so weird to see all of the comments that Felix was so much better in the past, I remember I watched him so much while I was growing up but as I got older, I grew away from his older content. Recently when I started back watching him, I was so happy to see that he was making content that he wanted to and it’s always so nice to see a UA-camr growing with you.

I've literally watched him since I was around 12, im 24 now. been a mad journey for sure!
I mean he used to do a bunch of variety and just be more genuine. Now hes this hollow character repeating the same jokes again and again. He barely makes his own content either. He just asks his massive fan base to make it for him so that he can repeat the same jokes for 10 minutes. That's why alot of people prefer old pewds.

There were years where Felix really seemed depressed. And that makes these videos where he does what he likes and seems genuinely in a good place even more engaging. Thanks for hanging in there Pewds. Where you are is amazing.

Oddly enough I started watching Pewds with my daughter who introduced me to his channel when she was a teen. It was my way to bond with her. We used to sit on the couch in the dark and watch his Amnesia vids lol. She's 23 now and recently moved out. We dont watch his content together anymore but still chat about what we've watched when we get a chance to catch up over dinner or something. Crazy how time flies. I’ve watched Pewds since he played Happy Wheels. I used to binged watch all his Amnesia videos and thus became a long time fan. I remember the “fridays with Pewdiepie” and watching him open fan mail. Good times, we’ve all grown up a lot!
I didn't realize how many people have found PewDiePie during elementary/middle school, and are now in college/starting families/ becoming an adult and still watching everyday. Myself included!
