What do you use to prime your eyes?
I always use the Rare Beauty eyeshadow primer (shop-links.co/cgNXPDwjyHy) and I set that with a translucent powder. - Навчання та стиль
That color looks awesome on you. Especially with the eye make up!
You also MUST leave bleach on at least half an hour but 45 to 60 minutes are best. And T18 was NOT what you needed 'cos your hair is nowhere near light enough. To use that you have to have pale blonde hair.
Exactly. Everyone uses T18 and it almost never works because your hair must be very very light for that. Same with the blonde dye. :/ With a different toner it could have turned out perfect.
This color looks absolutely gorgeous on you!!
i love the outcome of the hair color! Looks beautiful on you!
The fact that you own your look makes it gorgeous. It blends. Like some sort highlight. It really looks gorgeous. You. Look. Maaahhvelous!
You are hilarious! I just love your devil may care attitude 😂 It looks incredible though. And your eye makeup with the purple lower lash? Stunning. And your bf was also making me laugh.
Not what you planed but you are owning it! You're beauty goals!
OMG, this was awesome! I love it. I friggin love it Angela!! WOW, your first time. That is honestly INSPIRING!! ❤😊
In order to use the t18, you need to bleach your hair to a level 9 for it to give u that cool toned ashy blonde. Another round of bleach and toner should do it. I highly recommend using olaplex if you're going ro bleach it again.
What level would you say I got my hair to?
@angelaabright between a 7 and 8. It's definitely achievable though, I would recommend waiting 3 to 5 days between bleach sessions and then get yourself some olaplex #3 for treatments after it's all done 😉 p.s. once you get to a level 9 with bleach, try using Fanola no Yellow shampoo (purple shampoo) apply to dry hair and leave on for about 5 minutes then rinse. It tones amazingly without causing further damage like toner. And then use it maybe once a week. It'll give you the perfect cool toned icy blonde. But only after one more bleaching. Good luck :)
Thanks for the tips!!
@@angelaabright you're welcome 😉
That’s great that your man tried to help you! You two are so cute together ❤️
Ohhhh i just LOVE the color!!!
Looks good on you!!! Your makeup is sooo pretty.
OOOH, but it turned out really nice!! The purple toned it to a great color. I love it! ❤️ ❤️

You are gorgeous! You seriously can rock any color. ❤
I actually love the end result! It’s like purple and blonde it looks so good
I Flippin love that !!!! Looks great
It looks great! Having a pixie, that I have colored, bleached, done baking soda hair removal on, you name it, and the 10 showers in one day thing. I think you did really good. I'm getting ready to tone my Pixie again from brassy yellow, which is why I'm watching your video. If it doesn't work... I'm going purple! Feelin' brave now. Thanks beautiful!
I love that you have the courage to try this. I totally don’t! And, you don’t panic , you make it work! Not normally a fan of purple hair, but it looks gorgeous, as does your makeup and you. 😊
Aww thanks!! ❤️
Very pretty! I luv how it turned out...
I LOVE IT, YOU LOOK SO BEAUTIFUL AS ALWAYS❤
Dude it looks awesome!
Love it giving pink vibes beautiful
Your skin is so pretty😍
Looks awesome! When coloring or razor carving layers in the back of my hair, I attach a mirror to a tripod (lately with heavy duty rubber bands, or some tape depending on size) as an easy way to setup and breakdown the workspace. Or just sit it the tub with a large stand mirror on the edge for a style and soak. … Looovveee the color palette for Sigma. It is my lifelong favorite makeup palette and does everything I want, with matte and sparkle in the right places. cheers!!! 🙌
This color looks great
Turned out gorgeous
OMG I love it and I want it! Gorgeous 😍
Just watched the beginning...Brad Mondo entered the chat😜
Oh yeah? What’s he say?
She is giving Pink vibessss🤩 this looks amazing on you!!
Hi Angela, I love your hair color. It’s so pretty with your eye look, love it, 💜💜💜💜
Love the color on you❤
OMG I love it!
Love your shirt hair! You look great in purple!
Very pretty!!
I like that color. It's a subtle color not harsh at all like some.
I agree ☺️
You are a brave women. I know I wouldn't attempt that, mine would be green. Looks nice.❤
Beautiful! Even though you think it came out uneven it is a beautiful color on you. I hoped you videotaped the eye look.
I did! It’ll be up soon :)
Please tell us about this eye look! It is very sophisticated. And the lip product too. My guess would be that you used your palette for the purple under the eyes, but I can't figure out what you used on the lid. Beautiful! And goes so well with your hair color.
It’ll be on my channel soon! It is with my palette 😝
Your silver purple hair is amazing and you are so beautiful 😍
Love it!!!!!!
I love it on you! Happy accidents are the shit when it comes to hair!!
Yessss!!
The end result is beautiful! That was a lot of work!!!!!
It really was 😅
From a Cosmo who does her own hair at home cuz I'm lazy about my hair n keep it Platinum.
1st the T in T18 stands for Titanium which is a purple based color to tone yellow
2nd all you needed to do was let the lightened sit longer 20vol was the right volume level 30 volume would have melted your hair n left a chemical burn
3rd the purple did take all over but in the darker yellow spots it toned more of that yellow out so you got closer to the ash blonde
You did a good job over all
Well, the final color looks fantastic on you. I also have very short hair which I bleach and use T18 to tone. I think I will try this purple color in the future. I think you didn't have enough developer in your mix. It should be like a this paste. Then coat all your hair, start the timer after you have finished applying all the bleach. DON'T rub it into your scalp. Your scalp will thank you! I have hard to lift hair color, so I have to bleach my hair twice. Usually for about 45 minutes the first time, and 30-45 the second time. I do avoid the ends especially the second time. In your case applying the bleach to all your roots then adding it to the rest of your hair (the prebleached hair) afterwards would have been good. Even for short hair, I have to mix a double batch each time. That is how much it takes to bleach my short hair. Then check your hair that was the darkest by wiping the bleach in a small area. Then tone after the second bleach. I tone for around 20 minutes or so. Until the toner gets dark purple. My hair will have a very slight lavender cast for about a week afterwards. But slowly over time it will fade even more and it will become more brassy. That is when I use a purple shampoo specifically for bleached hair. As your hair grows out, if you recut it in the same way, you can get a really cool gradation (ombre) of color in the back and sides as your natural hair color grows in.
Thank you for the kind tips!
@@angelaabright Thank you. That is just what I do. How long you need to do it, and how many times is dependent on your hair. I'm sure you realize that though. I'm excited that you are trying these new things. I have been thinking of dying my (already bleached) hair lavender too.
i bleached my hair myself for years but it was long and i could use clips your braver that me doing short hair xxx
I’m a hairdresser and I love it!
If your hair is yellow like your hair is it’s best to do a combination of Weller, T 27 and Walla T 35 that will get rid of the yellow
I bleach my own hair and color it all over and my hair is short too. I use 40 volume developer and use wella light ash and mix with the 26 wella color. For the bleach I leave on 30 minutes because my natural color is a light to medium brown and it picks up red real easy so my toners are ash
I also run the color through the ends for about 5-10 minutes to refresh the ends.
For real Angela, that silver and lavender IS YOU!!
😊 looks beautiful
Firstly, you are beautiful! Wow! Secondly, I came here to give you advice but it looks like there are a LOT of home bleaching veterans that beat me to it. Only thing I can add is don’t rub any of these products into your scalp! Use a higher volume peroxide, you’ll be amazed at the difference and make it creamier, like frosting. But you’re gorgeous with whatever hair you’re rockin! You’re absolutely right, btw. It’s. Just. Hair! It grows back! ❤
I really like both the blonde and the purple on you.
Should have done a bleach bath to take your hair lighter on the top, and the toner would have worked better for you. The lavender would have taken better to the top if it had been lighter too. The good thing about purple is that it tones down orange and brassy color. The lavender looks great though! If you look at a color wheel it helps to know that purple and orange are sort of opposite colors and the purple helps tone down brassy orange. Blue for yellowy. The silvery purple looks so good with your makeup though!
Looks good. I wonder if the Lime Crime full strength would’ve given what you were looking for or if it would’ve been too dark?
It’s possible!
You look beautiful in that color hair
I did a similar thing a couple days ago. My hairdresser quit so I tried a new hairdresser at the same salon 2 times.. after I wasn't happy I decided to try DIY bleach foils. Half of them didn't go blonde enough so i bleached it a second time. Then I used blonde shampoo as a treatment to try eliminate the brassey yellow tones. I now have 3 toned hair. Grey light blonde, brassey and purple patches. I will be wearing a Beanie for the next couple months when I gain the courage to go back to a hairdresser....Major regrets.
I love the color you real pulled thst one off lol
Obviously we need a makeup tutorial on this look!! You are smouldering!
It's coming sooooon!
You didn't use enough lightener I don't think and you definitely didn't mix it well enough, that's why it's dry and looks like it's got crumbs. Also, you use the end of the brush to part/section the hair. You should've used 30 volume on your dark hair and 20 on the pre-lightened. Oh yes, I'm a licensed stylist. For 30 years now.
Next time you are brassy ( yellowish) use a blonde shampoo it keeps you from turning yellow. Get a good one though, you can also tone it instead of bleaching it
Next time scoop it in your hands and rub it in, the brush will make you miss alot of hair if you're doing it yourself. At the top in the back, it needs rubbed into the dark. And it needs to stay on for 45-1 hr.. as the other lady said, T18 was for much lighter hair
Gorgeous ❤
You’re so prettay! You remind me of young Demi Moore of she was uh, blonde and blue eyed.
I love my short pixie and I’ve bleached several times but I think this time I’m gonna just stick with highlights. Yeah I never left the top era on very long or they sure do come up purple. I’d say 10 minutes?
You are still so elegant tho. I think it turned out fine anyway both after the first toner and the purple was also cool🤷♀️
dammmmmmmm Angela 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 I love it! ❤️😘🇨🇦
It looks pretty good at the final result! The reason it's splotchy is because you didn't get it even all over by sectioning the hair. The bleach wasn't mixed thoroughly because it had crumbs in it and that will also result in splotchy hair. You also needed to leave the bleach in longer to lift it to the whitest level possible nor did you use the proper developer volume. The darker your natural hair color is, the higher the developer needs to be to get to a level 9-10 so that the platinum toner can work properly. Don't be fooled by the whiteness that developed initially with the 10 minutes you left it on with the first step. Check a small section by wiping it before moving on to the next step. And you also slicked your hair back from the front and not also from the back and side to side to coat your hair evenly with each step which is why it was lighter in the front and darker in the back and sides. Think of it as painting a surface that if you push the paint back on an uneven surface (like hair is) rather than making sure the paint is saturated evenly everywhere the surface/hair will be splotchy.
I recently went to a salon where the stylist didn't use the proper developer strength for my naturally dark brown hair color nor did she leave the bleach/developer on long enough. So I now have yellow sections of my hair where she put in baby highlights all over my hair rather than the chunky highlights I had before. I moved to Texas two months ago and my previous stylist had successfully highlighted my hair to platinum. I'm going to another salon tomorrow to get this corrected because I can't walk around with this. I will not be going back to the salon I went to first here in Houston. I should have known I would not get the result I wanted when I walked in because the salon was dimly lit, was not neat and organized, and only had a few chairs. I should have turned around and walked out by saying I changed my mind. The stylist offered to fix my hair the way I wanted but because she didn't do it correctly the first time, I had no confidence she could get right the second time. Oh, and she didn't cut my hair properly either (I had an undercut pixie) because it's uneven and jagged everywhere.
It’s nice but I think you need to rebleach to a level 10 the mids and ends with 10 to 15 volume for AT LEAST 25 to 30 minutes. After that, no more yellow!
Ahh I should’ve rebleached but I was nervous to get a lot of damage!
I love it!!! And with those eyes....girl!!! That's the shit!!!
I can only see the bottom half of her video, so i cant see the top of her hair. What am i doing wrong?
Girl, you are sooooo brave 😂lolol
That shade is SOOOOOO cool! I love it!!!! I would have felt blessed with that look. I believe it’s called a happy accident ❤
I’m super happy with it! And it’s now faded to more of a silvery/lavender and it’s so fun
Next time try wella toner equal parts with a 10 , my experience I am a licensed pro ;)
Brad Mondo is awesome to watch for bleach & toner guidance. Your orange sections were not light enough for t-18
Wow, you look like a movie star 😊👌
I have a pixie cut just like yours.
It turned out ok babes but would of loved to see you super light blonde though!
❤❤❤
Gorgeous on you.
So brave to share this w us
😂 it’s fun to share dramatic hair changes!
Bleached hair-those warm, orange tones when hair is wet minimize when hair is dry. Not enough to be white blonde, but your color was definitely nice when the hair was dried.
I was shocked at how those oranges tones went away when it was dry
Gorgeous! ❤
Someone send it to Brad Mondo!
And... start on mid shafts then go back to roots and undercut.
You have a lot of patience! 😂
Well I am 68 yo and I think your hair looks super cool.
Thanks ❤️❤️
❤❤❤
Typically you would like ypur mixture to be a little more smooth, like pudding. No chunks.
It’s a gorgeous color! You look awesome! Beautiful makeup too! Your “Boo” ….boyfriend…is adorable! ❤
Purple looks awesome. For the blonde You just needed to use 30vol and leave it for at least an hour. The toner wont work unless its really pale yellow..You could go in and do a second bleach. (used to work in a salon) I colour mine platinum at home 😊😊
El violeta no va neutralizar nunca el el Naranja, podrías haber realizado una nueva decoloración con oxidante al 6% ó al 3% (solo la decoloración naranja) para haber logrado una decoloración pareja.
Para un especialista en color, el resultado no es bueno.
30 vol is too strong for the level she is right now in my opinion; it will fry and snap
30 vol lightener on the roots for 30 mins you are all crazy hahah😂 scalp burn 🔥
@@genbernier I meant the first round she did. If went in for a second round I'd only go 20 vol maybe 40/60(developer) mix or a bleach bath then toner
@@skoumoudouros9763 Not on a second round. But you should never bleach freshly washed hair because of that.
