Sieg...the main problem of Fate/Apocrypha (the anime) was that...it was rushed...badly. There were so many characters within the show that barely get any screen time...best example Atalanta who got screwed badly. In fact, in the Manga...Sieg's character got explored and actually explains why he took up the sword. Like he actually became likable as a character due to how much he develops...we get none of them within the Anime as it rushed as hell.
Yeah, the main problem is that it's only like 24 episodes, so combined that with 14 servants, 2 rules, and one that becomes a demi-servant replacing on of the 14 and a lot more it's hard to people fit that in the whole show, tbh I think they needed to make it at least 2 seasons both with 24 episodes to give a lot of the characters that were brushed aside more time for us to be attached to them
The anime is very misleading. La Pucelle is basically the eternal fire for life, due to Jeanne's fame, it is actually the most destructive force in Type Moon universe which even surpass Enuma Elish, so the only way to stop it is to basically destroy space itself.
@@googagag2174 I think you're confusing poetic flavor text with actual effects. Ea's description makes it sound like it should be able to rewrite the texture of the world, yet it is barely able to scratch it
As for La Pucelle apparent underperformance, my personal headcanon is that it is mainly due to two things: 1) Jeanne was victim of an improper summoning, thanks to Amakusa iirc. As such, it is possible that her abilities were affected. 2) Jeanne was summoned by the grail and used La Pucelle against it. This results in a contradiction. Da Vinci in one of her sermons says that even if a Anti-Planet noble phantasm were to exist, it would not be able to destroy Gaia because there are countermeasures at play already when a Servant is summoned by the world. So it is likely that La Pucelle as a conceptual attack was downgraded because of that.
@@googagag2174 EA can destroy space if it is a reality marble like UBW, but not the actual space itself. Thus became known the name anti-marble noble phantasm.
@@saturnv2419 actually EA doesn't destroy space it strips away the conceptual layers of existance that seperate the world as we know it from the core of Gaia, that's why it's so effective against reality marbles as they are just an enforced conceptual layer brought about by a lesser entity rather than by the world itself, the reverse side of the world and the world of man in the common era are both essentially reality marbles, reverse side is Gaia's reality marble and modern world is Alaya's

They say homunculi don't have much emotion but what about illyasveil Von Einzbern? She was a homunculus and yet she had even more emotions than Shirou lol. Speaking of homunculi, I find it funny that the 7 homunculi and the father had more emotions and passions than Edward Elric
Truth be told I don't consider illya a homunculus. Why?... she was not artificially created but was born normally. She just inherited her homunculus traits from her mother. I mean her biological father is kiritsugu after all. She was only considered a vessel for the Grail coz she came from her mother which is the original one. Well... that's just how I see it.
Illya is the best homunculus in term of magecraft. The Einzbern family homunculus capable of holding the family magic crest and they are as good as the original human who create them. The Yggmillenia homunculus tech (create Sieg) are a super water down version of the Einzbern. In Fate (Nasuverse) only a few mage bloodlines capable of reaching the pinnacle of artificial lifeform of creating a perfect artificial life. The Einzbern was the most repute since the regular mage can't tell the difference between the homunculus to the real Einzbern family member. Another known case was Aozaki Touko, the doll master, that she create the perfect doll capable of using her magic circuit. Once she create the doll she's wonder whether she is the real Touko or the doll stand in front of her is the real Touko. She's creating a mechanism that allow the doll to fully awake and inherit her memory and magic circuit should the current body die. There's only one incident when she was killed and appear in front of her killer for pay back, which sparks the question whether the one who was just killed was the real Touko or a doll. Regardless, Touko's doll can function as a regular human mage being with full functional/enhance body, and she make a rule that she will continue to make those perfect dolls not only as spare body part, but to find comfort in the fact that she's the real "Aozaki Touko".

Yeah, the main problem is that it's only like 24 episodes, so combined that with 14 servants, 2 rules, and one that becomes a demi-servant replacing on of the 14 and a lot more it's hard to people fit that in the whole show, tbh I think they needed to make it at least 2 seasons both with 24 episodes to give a lot of the characters that were brushed aside more time for us to be attached to them
Im glad at least it had 24 ep, imagine if they try to fit everything in 12, they will fk up more lol
At least it ain't as bad as Fate Stay Night where either the characters die too fast or become one note characters
@@BlackPrince24 You are talking about the original one right? The Old one? Not the unlimited Bladeworks?
The anime is very misleading. La Pucelle is basically the eternal fire for life, due to Jeanne's fame, it is actually the most destructive force in Type Moon universe which even surpass Enuma Elish, so the only way to stop it is to basically destroy space itself.
That does make sense but ea exists.Ea can destroy time and space.
@@googagag2174 I think you're confusing poetic flavor text with actual effects. Ea's description makes it sound like it should be able to rewrite the texture of the world, yet it is barely able to scratch it
As for La Pucelle apparent underperformance, my personal headcanon is that it is mainly due to two things:
1) Jeanne was victim of an improper summoning, thanks to Amakusa iirc.
This reminds me of Danmachi: Arrow of Orion ending, where Bell(Orion) and Artemis promised to see each other again in 10,000 years.
Everybody gangsta until the holy maiden becomes the most powerful glass cannon with the literal power of god
I’ve watched so much anime ruler is one character I’ll never forget
Am I the only one who actually liked Sieg. Even if it's not for what he is but rather for what he did and what he believed in?
Saber: *when will there be my goodly animated loving part ;-;*
As a Catholic, I love this
Can't really hate Sieg, dude did what he could considering the terrible cards he was handed in his life, and made the most out of his life.
Am I butthurt that he managed to earn the affection of the Fate version of the most wonderful woman to have ever lived? Of course I am. Then again, I'm sure I'd have felt the same regardless of who ended up with her. Actually, if she was wasted on Shirou, I'm sure I'd be even angrier.
Wasted on Shirou?? As bad as his suicidal ways are I will still say that that man is a wonderful catch for all the ladies out there. Especially when you know what he is gonna look like as an adult.
I'm betting any money that he will attract all versions of Saber faces, including all the versions of Artoria.
@@thebakalord Jeanne isn't a saberface tho.
@@nathankrizbai2131 Jeanne is a saber face, all 'saberfaces' are just characters with the same face as Artoria aka the first saber we see and it doesn't have to be the same class. If you took away all the thing that made a saber face different from others... Hair, facial armour etc it's the same face
I wish they just left her as badass
just remembered unlimited blade works
And the fact that she burned in her own np symbolized when she's burned alive in her past life is..daymn
Whenever I hear that dun dun dunnnnnn sound, I think of Yugi summoning Exodia.
Shiro Amakusa started the largest and last rebellion against Tokugawa Shigunate for the sake of Christians, and failed
He has the legitimate cause to save the humanity.
I really like fate apocrypha sieg is one of my favorite characters
What a poetic suicidal NP related to her history
As a frenchman the idea of Jeanne being in any relationship not God is incredibly outrageous in my mind, she is litteraly a Saint known for being Pucelle whose love for France and God went above her very life and died as Martyr for this.
But on the other hand Fate made her this beautiful, and gave Gilles the best moment of his myth, aka whenever he was with Jeanne, for only someone like Jeanne would see the good in a scoundrel like him (he was never a good person, Jeanne brought the best out of him)
La Pucelle de la Orleans, truly a beautiful yet tragic story! And La Pucelle is just as tragic!😭😭😭
Bueno, no hay aún un anime Shonen, pero nos queda la Juanita de Fate Apocrypha xd
Real talk, wouldn't this fight go on forever?
Both are rulers, both have unlimited command spells.
This honestly looks like a battle of attrition so wouldn't there be no end?
The thing is La Pucelle signifies the very flames that burnt Jeanne to death. So the grail make it as a suicidal Noble Phantasm ranked EX
@@Asphyx12 i playing Fate Grand Order but thats second Noble Phantasm only for Jeane Alter Version Class Avenger
@@disgustinggirlslookingatyo1853 but we're talking about fate/apocrypha here? So what's with fgo? It's a game so jt can't integrated the real skillsets of every servant. Do you want EMIYA to have 7 turn evade or 7 stacked up def buff?
Real talk? La Pucelle would burn everything anyway. It is conceptually stronger than many servants and you’d need protective Noble Phantasms on the level of Achilles’ immortality, or Karna’s armor, just to withstand the flames.
It's the flame of purgatory, very ironic I must say to the fact she was once burned and got burned again by it LoL.
Im still curious to this day. After Seig took the Grail how many years has passed after? Centuries, a millenia?
Yes
It's was eons, it was the same with Shirou and Arthoria, they had to wait/walk for eternity so that there is the small possibility of them being reunited.
@@thebakalord worst trade deal in the history of trade deals

I really wanna see Amakusa having a chat with Goetia:
Amakusa: “Do not underestimate my 60 years of obsession!”
Goetia: “60 years? Oh.. child.”
Good thing that Goetia was not a summonable as a servant
Despite being surrounded by other beliefs and gods, her faith remains strong
Wait, noone gonna talk about Shirou NP absorb all that La pucelle
I thought saint can’t love anyone they must treat everyone equal. If that big eye caster from FSNUW see this he would be mad af lol cause he love Jeanne for love time and he even gone mad after she died
If you have watched the anime, then you'd know that she fought with her ideals of a saint vs being in love.
She doesn't really need to uphold those ideals at this point.
@@BlackPrince24 yeah that's what the anime tries to insinuate, I could argue that once a saint always a saint, she STILL doesn't need to fall for Sieg! For me this is kind of a forced love story!
@@uselesshero.official I can see how it's forced but I can also see it working.
Thing is that Astolfo felt more like a lover than her lol
@@BlackPrince24 nope Astolfo and Sieg had bromance and I really enjoyed it. There's a lot of things I like about Nasuverse and there's a lot others that I don't.
This actually makes me want to see a priest reacting to christian noble phantasms
When a Catholic fights a Episcopal and her boyfriend
Amakusa VA did a really good job in this fight against Jeanne
I don't understand why she lost, but im new in Fate so i may need at least a couple years to catch up with what happens
The other guy's NP is like the antithesis of her Noble Phantasm. So like... he sucked her NP away from the Holy Grail, stopping it from burning the Grail.
Basically, Guy can only used that NP because of the grail (without the grail... his NP is impossible to create as it requires a ton of energy), and his NP is the antithesis of Jeanne d'Arc's.... by sucking everything into that orb before it destroys everything.
They say homunculi don't have much emotion but what about illyasveil Von Einzbern? She was a homunculus and yet she had even more emotions than Shirou lol. Speaking of homunculi, I find it funny that the 7 homunculi and the father had more emotions and passions than Edward Elric
Illya lived an entire life as an human, learning. And she was special being, the daughter between a human and a homunculus
Retribution X tf you talking about bruh
Illya had at least 18 years to develop emotions and such
I love the fact that as an observer she's biased
Hope we can get this np of hers
She did all of that just for Amakusa to reflect her fireball and kill her with it. Such wasted potential.
So you hate Sieg because he gets to eternally plow Jeanne D Arc?
Probaly let's be honest seig is boring and even more of a one dimensional character than shiro and Jeanne is a better lover then all the fate root girls in my opinion sakura is kinda of a yandere rin is I forgot the word but acts all mean but actually cares which I personally find annoying and saber is ok but she gets to caught up in fights and leaves shiro behind jeanne is like a better version of saber, but seig is a worse protagonist then shiro
Comet Gamer I agree with everything you said and the word your looking for is Tsundre.
@@Comet_373 i might be talking out of my ass here but didnt sieg onky have a conscience for like... a month or two? It is not wonder he is 1 dimentional, he never had any time to truly develop a personality of his own and instead decided to follow jeanne's ideals much like shiro to kirisugu
@@justsomerandomanimefan1135 yup that's the word lol
John Nguyen Honestly I believe that even if he had lived multiple years his personality probably wouldn’t have changed. At birth he had a adults mentality and a child’s innocence he experienced so much more than the average human does in their entire life in a short amount of time and still didn’t change that much.
I read to much Jeanne and jalter hentai, that sometimes i forgot that she is holy maiden...
I just realised its a french and a german couple nice
French and Half German Half Romanian couple since he was made in Romania if memory serves well
I love Jeanne
Pucelle mean virgin in french, I just burst a laugh watching her scream it
Same here, I don't like him either. Is like they making Jeanne out of purposely just to be in love with him. what actually is, Jeanne is caring him and looking him as a child who just new born, however the creator out of mind and so intended to made it into romance. Is okay don't force yourself to make a romance plus is no necessary and now disgusting. People came for their waifu(Jeanne) but creator make a worst decision. Good thing all credit go to Mordred(Waifu Material) . BTW I didn't watch much of Jeanne side whenever sieg is there.
can we have angry Jeanne now (Jalter)
Eu não entendi o por que de você odiar ele
Por que que diabos você odeia sieg?
ele fez algo de errado?
Sieg is very beautiful. 💛💙💛💙💛💙💛💙💛💙

To be honest, i don't like Sieg, not because he hog's Jeanne tho. If he's a better character (not as bland and influenced his allies to make some mediocre decisions) I don't really mind if he ends up w/ Jeanne
In light novel his character is actually good and likable. Srsly fuck this anime adaptation man
@@kaikibestgrill4986 Glad to know that

Nah, it shouldn't
The flames destroy anything... it can eve destroy the Holy Grail, so nope.
The only reason why it was stopped was because it was sucked into a noble phantasm, by a guy that also died at the stakes.

I dont like this ending...they make a indirectly insult to Jeanne (real life jeanne d'arc)just because jeanne likes sieg
2 reasons
Sieg isnt even 1 month old which means they make Jeanne a Pedo(which saints would love everyone the same+he is a homunculi...something not created from GOD in what she believes)
2. Why the fuck would her get married with "furry"(sieg dragon)?????? They literally made her a joke
A pedo and a "furry" indirectly jeanne irl insult(because anime jeanne is a adaption of the in real life jeanne)...im not a christian but im sure christian people doesnt have a good like of this but the other things are good... But pretty forced love history.
