Control your Radion and VorTech from your Phone | How To Tuesday

- brs.li/Reeflink The Reef Link and EcoSmart Live have been able to control your Radions for quite some time. They have now also added the ability to control your EcoTech VorTech pumps via the EcoSmart Live smartphone application. Here is how:
1. Sign up for an EcoSmart Live Account @ www.ecosmartlive.com
2. Plug in Reef Link via USB to your computer (don't plug in the power cable).
3. Go to tiny.cc/reeflink and download setup application
4. Run setup application and log-in with your user name
5. Choose the type of network connection you would like to use, if using wireless network select the network and enter password if necessary.
6. Disconnect USB cable
7. Connect power cable
Now you can connect to EcoSmart Live either via your computers web browser or via the EcoSmart Live smartphone application. From EcoSmart Live you can program your Radion lights and if using the smartphone application you can control your VorTech as well.

Here’s one for you. I pickup a reel link and 3 rx15 gen 4. So I have got the reeflink to my wifi now but none of the lights are coming up in the find devices via wifi. Been trouble shooting for hours now and got 1 light to add to the account but the other 2 won’t follow the same process that I did for the first. I have no idea. The ai hydras seem a walk in the park comparing to these thing lol.

Are your Radions upgraded to the latest firmware? If so, then they are probably using Mobius and not the EcoSmart controls any longer. Mobius devices can't be controlled by the Reef Link without downgrading the firmware.
So I need another piece of kit to make my mp10 smart?
As of now, the MP10 will require the ReefLink if you want to control it via phone or tablet. That said, Ecotech is working on a wireless platform, so that may no longer be necessary in the near future.

i have a 40 gallon marine tank which is running from one month and i have added one long tentacle two shrimps one is boxer and blood red, and a daisy coral they all are doing fine water condition is all perfect. i use API test kit. PH is 8.2, Ammonia is 0, nitrite is 0, nitrate is also 0, my problem is i have CC bed i want to change it to sand bed i have bought sechame pearl beach dry sand, i want to know if i can take out the CC and add sand directly to the tank. pls advica ASAP. thanks in advance

once you have your Vortechs linked does this mean they can NOT be in slave/master mode? I seem to lose the ability to control them when they are set in this mode?
Where can I download already designed configurations?

this is a pita compared to the other brand. I can't connect to it at all without borrowing a laptop and connecting directly via usb. My other brand connects instantly via bluetooth..
Thankfully the newer G5 models have built-in control with much much better phone connectivity.

The light bulbs suck ass, they keep on shuting off my power in my room and it just blow up on me like the thing just blow up and almost broke my lamp.
So now im sleeping in a dark ass room😢
