Interview with my Grandfather - Part I - Family

George C Herrick lived from 1922 until April 15, 2018. He always said, "After 90, you can start using fractions again.", so he was 97 and 11/12ths.
On July 2, 2016, I made what would be, my last trip to visit him. I took a camera and an audio recorder and for 2.5 hours, I asked questions and let him go.
He served from 1939 until 1964 in the US Army Air Corps and Air Force. He was a mechanic and finally a flight engineer on the C-133 Cargomaster, otherwise known as the Widow Maker since many crashed for unexplained reasons.
