Oh maaan Metal Slug 3! One of the few 10/10 games out there. Perfect realization of what 1, 2 and X were getting at.
My heart stopped when the 19XX bagpipes kicked in. I think I remember using those same instruments for the same melody myself, but I don’t think I was able to figure out how to make it nice, and here you are doing the unthinkable!

Yes! I've been waiting for this, Metal Slug was my childhood growing up. Anyway this remix is quite the headbanger, & that CPS-2 Indian like flute was like fine magic on display. Pretty Good Renegade. 👈👈😏🎧🎶

You reach the "end" of the game only for the game to say, "welcome to the halfway point" and everything changes!
It was supposed to be the last metal slug game so they went all out.

If I didn't already know that this was a CPS2-style, fan-made remix/cover to another game, I would have thought that I was listening to an unused track from _Armored Warriors_ and/or _Cyberbots: Fullmetal Madness_ that was planned to take place in a desert stage. I can also envision hearing this remix/cover as the stage BGM for Souther's stage in the _Hokuto No Ken_ ( _Fist of the North Star_ ) fighting game from 2005 developed by Arc System Works and published by Sega. Keep up the good work!

Just for the record, we can all agree that *Metal Slug 3* was the best MS and *SHOULD* have been the end of the series! And good remix, though _Into The Sky/Void_ would have been epic!
End of the series, maybe not, I enjoyed 4, 5, and 6 well enough, but 3 is the absolute peak, no competition.
The end sequence is burned into the back of my mind, peak Metal Slug right there.
