Not sure I’ve played a game with so many crashes and audio issues (ps5) Going to leave it for more patches and finally try fernbus as it’s on a very rare discount! wish it had bus simulators ffb and a bit of tourist bus career mode and I’d be over the moon.
the game is terrible 25 fps with the worst graphics on a console since ps3/xbox 360 days. i got a refund through xbox within 10 hours but played around 4 and you 100% correct the connecting trucks cables and lowering the stands got old after the 2nd time it was irritating more then anything the game is sh%t thats that. it doesn't deserve anything more then a 4/10 AI smashed into me so many times stopped in the middle of the road the mirrors run at 2fps trees a little out into woods are rendered black blobs its horrible guys save ya cash
I was waiting for you video and it looks like youve saved me a bit of money.. the game its actually pretty cheap but im sure itll be on a sale soon even cheaper so ill just wait.
Ive played all the games youve mention except for the truck sims as im on console and im kinda sick and tired of the same "small developer" BS.. release a broken game, add maybe 1 to 2 patches in the next yr or so and then forget about it. How are you ever going to become a big well known developer if you dont put your heart into your small projects?
So i wont be wasting my money on these type of games anymore.
All i want is Truck sim and Microsoft flight sim to come to PS5 and my life will be complete 😅
@MrrNacho and I have to say after playing the game more and playing fernbus I was off on my rating of this game. You know as a console guy we always get told to be thankful for whatever bone they throw us but I'm really sick of that. We deserve a good experience and I feel so many of us content creators sugar coat some of these games becaue were so desperate for a good driving sim/trucking game. I requested a refund for only the second time in over 20 years of console gaming - hopefully Xbox honors it. 8/10 is way too generous imho. It crashes every time I try to buy a new truck on top of all the issues you mentioned. The unrealistic distances and time dilation to make the map seem larger than it is is a pretty scummy development approach and no one talks about it.
@TickleFight94 I only gave it an 8 because as I said it's not a simulator so I won't review it as one and ATS and ETS2 had pretty much ruined me for this type of game. In reality thos game is closer to a 6 for me and that's because if the unique survival/driving aspect. As for the distance, I don't even know the scale of this map and after doing longer haul job I agree, the scaling is way off
@@ShredhedGaming Whelp, refund denied because I played the game to find out it was a buggy mess… teaches me to trust the fake week 1 paid UA-cam reviews or apparently the in app written reviews. At least you were honest if we disagree with the final score.
Well my final score may have been on the high side, compared to other trucking games on console like truck driver and on the road this game is better but not by much. The bar for these types of games is set so low on consoles at the moment that it's hard to give a good review. In reality as a game period this is not good, but for what we have on console for trucking games it's not the worst.
@@ShredhedGaming No worries, scores are subjective. When I think of really good small studio indy games 8/10 or higher, I think of games like Everspace, Way of the Hunter, Hades, Cuphead, etc and the only part of this game that even comes remotely close to those is sound design which still has plenty of bugs. Shoot, even though it is a simple isometric unity mobile game developed by 2 people, the Rally Rush series gives a better sense of driving (and is much more polished) IMHO.
I am not sure why folks think it’s okay to release a game in this state and not honor refund policies.

They need other trucks doing derliveries to add emersion on ai traffic running poorly on series X frame pacing issues and flashing around parts of the map iv got vrr display still getting issues thing next update must have more wheel support i always use a wheel no shifter support like pc or force feedback the need a dedicated menu for wheels like pc version i think in a few updates they should clear up most issues on unreal 5 engine fernbus did it that was broken at launch

Listen I'll be honest here, I took alot of shit about voicing my honest opinion on test drive solar crown. Honestly when I did this review I didn't play the game super long and really didn't feel like it deserved a good rating but honestly ATS and ETS2 have really messed up my perceptions for a game like this. I felt it wasn't fair because I need to compare this game to the trucking games available to console players, in that respect I'd say this game is the best option for a trucking game on console but then I played this game more..... as if right now I can't even bring myself to play this game at all. I did post another video correcting this rating! Lol, just thought I'd explain my thinking on this, sorry for the essay! Thanks for watching bud!

9:35 I think even if a trucking game isn't a simulator. There should still be standards and imo even tho ets2 and ats set the bar as simulators. why cant these companies take and learn from what scs did? Because man idk all these games just seem so soulless from the graphics to the physics to the sound to the devs themselves seeming to just not care. idk I wish scs could bring both games to consoles so these other companies could not just slide by on easy mode since there is no competition
@Transport4ThatDumpTruck so here was my problem with reviewing this game. This is a very small development team and they don't have the resources that SCS have. With that being said though TML is also a small developer and fernbus which is on the same graphics engine as this one just looks so much nicer than this game. I think us console gamers need to stop being so hungry for games like this that we let that hunger cloud our judgment on games. Clearly this game is not a good game but the bar is set so damn low that this is unfortunately the best we have on consoles. I agree with you and really hope that we see ATS, ETS2 or both on console one day. Thanks for your thoughts and thanks for watching!

Yeah, it's messed up because they announced in the discord the price and thek when the game went live the pricing was all messed up. Quite convenient how they didn't set a price until release day. And the way Sony sees it, the devs made a mistake
@ShredhedGaming yeah I'm not too thrilled. Wouldn't mind if it wasn't so broken, like I feel it needs only one solid update and it would make it a lot more playable. It just feels like a mobile game at this point. Atleast for me.
I mean thos isn't to far off from what it is. It's pretty much the same on pc.
@ShredhedGaming yeah personally I think they should've waited another month or 2 to release it. I feel like they would've been able to sort most of the bugs and glitches by then. Oh well I just hope it gets patched. Just hate seeing potential in games and then when it comes out it loses all that potential when it's a buggy mess like this is. I'm still hopeful but am gonna wait till next update to play next. Just irritates me too much atm!
