is it crazy to say im favoring zhiyun tech over DJI for the time being. I have the ronin-s but its just not something I favor tbh I liked the ronin-m better than the ronin-s. but I've used zhiyun products before and I was pretty impressed in the versatility.

And that's the second time with a brand new Pro package again. I am not so sure anymore about Zhiyun.. it's been a very disappointing experience so far. Call their repair centers and no one picks up the phone, even when you dial again and again for 2 hours straight. 😑
Been rocking with zhiyun for about 2 years. Originally picked the weebill s over the ronin m due to how portability but things a workhorse and I still use it today! This just shows how much progress they’ve made.
Interesting seeing Zhiyun and DJI launching new gimbals at the exact same time and seeing all of the most amazing creators battle it out! YCImaging, Bestboy Adam, MikeVisuals, James Matthews, Nabil, Taylor Cut Films all releasing videos at the same time! What a day to be alive haha
Of all the gimbals I have. The weebil s is my go to. It’s so small and I have the extra arms for it if need be. Nothing beats how small and compact it is, while still having great motors.
I quit the Weebill a few years back and got the RS2. Getting the best stabilization has never been that easy. Good to see the upgrades they put on this new Weebill but I'd have to stick to a Ronin and go for the RS3 PRO if I were to upgrade.
Man, it feels like the Weebill 2 only just came out, I was still contemplating buying one lol. I’ve gotta cop the 3 now, they’ve thought of features I didn’t even realise I needed.
Having that light built in is pretty sweet but I’m not to sure about the mic. I feel like you always get motor or vibration noise when using a mic on a gimbal and I find myself using the gimbal more for slow B roll than anything so the audio isn’t that important. I still think the Weebill S is still the king but the 3 looks nice. That light on the other hand looks flat out awesome. Thanks for the overview 🫵👍

@@brodanate its not fully compatible with my g85. I have no button controls for this body. The cables can be hard to find to replace. But other than that no real problems. Im still using it
Bought 2 for weddings to replace our DJIs, sold on the built in light. Unfortunately they are not very smooth, 1 much worse then the other. Warp stabilization has really become a friend of mine lately.
@@ProfoundWeddingFilms Ouch, that's a big disadvantage for my style of shoot. I will go for the Weebill S or Crane 2s. With that I could change batteries during events.
I want a 1/4 port on this gimbal for my mic. It is a big thing missing. Also make the embedded mic upgradable. This will create a new market of gimbal mic with small windshield. And that’s it. The two change would make it perfect.

Yeahh the new rs 3 and rs 3 pro are better. The wrist support on the weebil is cool but im sure tilta will be selling that for the DJI gimbals in a few weeks. Just not enough features here for pros i feel like this is best for entry level videographers

Seems there is almost no information on if the TransMount Image Transmitter AI is fully compatible with the ZHIYUN Weebill 3. I have the ZHIYUN Crane 2S with the TransMount AI and it is awesome except for the extreme weight. I need a lighter gimbal to fly on the Wiral Lite Cable Cam with the AI tracking.
I made the same request to Zhiyun. They should have put a 1/4 extension port on the gimbal itself. They should make the handle rigid with a second extension port on it. There is no way to put my big Azden smx30 or a big screen ( good that i have a a7c with flip screen but a 6 or 7 inch screen is good for review and focus). I have a cage but it is more difficult to balance a mic on a gimbal when it would be so simple to put it on the 1/4 port. Also i propose to make the mic upgradable with third party mic. To have stereo /shotgun with mini windshield. Zhiyun responded and said they will take in consideration my request and sent that to their engineering team. Maybe for the Weebill 4
is it intentional that your video glitches at the beginning? this is like your third video I'm seeing this glitch in your video as if a particular effect did not render correctly
And why? Do the ronin have a light or mic? Do the ronin has good center of gravity? Dio they have a wrist rest to keep the gimbal for hours? They have autolocks and a extension port yes, but that does not make them superior. These are more bulky and heavier incompatible for travel. Weebill 3 can be more compact without the tripod. Can you remove the tripod on ronin and still put it on a table ? No but you can with the weebill 3. Ronin rs3 seems to be good but these are not superior. Each has his strong features. The best would be to combine all features. Autolocks, fill light and mic upgradable, wrist rest and base for exchangeable battery and low center of gravity, extension port 1/4 and good customer service. But currently it don’t exist.
I think there is a portrait mode only from the vertex mode so when the gimbal is full horizontal. I think i heard that in a video but i could be wrong.
After seeing this I went and bought it . I don’t really like it . It seems flimsy and it doesn’t connect to my Sony a7iii . I’m currently searching for something else . My weebill s didn’t last long before the axis lock broke .
Do you know if the Weebill 3s is comparable with the Sony A7iii? I went to the website and it does’t show this camera on there. I also tried the Weebill 3 and that one either did the A7iiii showed up. Please help

The light and microphone are very innovative to me as well. The light is very useful. For the mic i would prefer the base expansion of the m3 to plug my Azden smx30 mono/ stereo large mic with a 1/4 port which is desperately missing on the Weebill 3. What i would also like to hear is better repair customer service feedback from people that have issues with their gimbal. I am not confident if i hear people calling for 2 hours and still cannot join a customer service. Fix that would be more important. When you lose a customer it is very difficult to get it back.
This review did not get me excited about this gimbal. With the RS3 Pro having an auto lock feature, Im going to need some tangible details to persuade me to stay on a Weeble
It was important to me if it handles well with setup like a7sIII + Sigma 24-70 as my Weebill S has terrible jitters but I didn't see you testing it with heavy setup - why that? It is important to us as Zhiyun users
@@olajidedanielmajekodunmi6704 i don't know it is perfectly balanced but motors vibrating on medium/high, so they are on low setting. But that way when I do dynamic shots tilt goes up n down because of the weight. I've used weebill s with a7sIII and Tamron 28-75 and it was much better so I think the motors are weak for the sigma setup..
Those underslung mode handles have to be the most idiotic and unnecessary design ever, and this one makes it worse. It's like going from standing on 2 legs to 1 leg for stability. It solves absolutely nothing.
I personally only tend to use these kinds of gimbals in upright position, but I think the customization with it could suit some people who use it in flashlight orientation.

I'd be curious to hear the audio recording coming from the gimbal. Could eliminate having to balance a shotgun mic on your setup 🤷🏿♂️

The RS3 with the auto lock looks more innovative to me.
Its over $300 more so it should be.
I am not sure of the reliability of such system though. More it is sophisticated more it could break. I prefer the basic manual solid locks.

Probably not balanced correctly or your settings on the gimbal are wrong
