Kate Bush is a prominent figure who deserves much more recognition and praise. All her albums are legitimate classics. You don’t find that consistency just anywhere else.
yep it's all true! But also I'd say she's on par with the Beatles and Bowie, etc, I think she deserves recognition not only as an amazing and probably the best FEMALE artist, but also one of the best artists in general - regardless of gender.

I love how she stands to one side of her backing singers. The crumpled white sheet over the stage block, the falling smoke behind, the lipstick. Kate's composition and presentation and sophistication is just astonishing. Such and incredible performer.

Kate Bush is utterly gorgeous with a voice to match, I never got to see her live shows and it will haunt me forever ive always loved her, always will, I even named my daughter kate, her songs remind me of happy times and can also make me cry, shes one of a kind a woman of great talent and nobody could ever come close.
I also missed out on her live shows and will also regret it for rest of my life. I can’t look at photos of these shows because I feel so upset. I would feel a little better if I saw a dvd of them but it doesn’t look like they’ll ever see the light of day! 🥲

The same can be said for more than a handful of other underappeciated artists that really were groundbreaking pioneers. Fortunately they, as well as Kate Bush, remain in the history books of music which are written by people with a keen musical interest and knowledge. Who people in general remember or praise won't matter in the coming decades or even a century from now. Kate Bush is also an influence to many artists today, and being an influence to other musicians counts for more than whoever is so popular now that they remember what outfit some artist wore on stage half a year ago.

I know!!! I've only just found out about her after watching "Queens of British Pop" on the BBC, and I couldn't and still can't believe that I hadn't heard of her before then! She's such a remarkable artist, and so unique, and such a genius that I'm shocked she isn't mentioned more often in regards to music. She should be a household name like The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, and it's a disgrace that she isn't.

It's funny to see back up singers on this video, when it is actually Kate's layered voice doing back up on the recording. Nice guitar by Eric Clapton.
Lip syncing was standard on TOTPs since the very first episode so saying back then in relation to this is a none starter sweetie and I say that as a K8T fan since the 70s.
