@@reggiepathak9684 I just ordered a full new system from Newegg that mirrors my current gaming system. Intel i9 13900K, 128GB DDR5, 4TB SSD main drive, RTX 4090. Considering the PS4/XSX games are actually PC games that were offered on both, you can go from the PC requirements.
@@kakarot81 600 bux is 1 16tb drive. they have different collections I would assume you'd choose for the 1 drive. if you get all 5 its about 3600 bux.

This is incredibly impressive. When you break it down, for what you get, the price is more than fair. I do have to say however that you would have to be one SERIOUS gamer, and not just a casual gamer to get your money's worth. I love gaming, but I couldn't possibly even begin to scratch the surface with the number of games available. I think the 4 TB build is what more people will be interested in, in my opinion.

This is the one for all to get I have this 96TB version it emulates all consoles and their libraries from the 1st generation to now amazing you can obviously do this yourself for cheaper but this build is phenomenal not a bad price for 600 bucks or so for just the hard drive if you buy the whole setup it’s like 5-10K the ps5 and Xbox x/s is not emulation it’s PC games released from those consoles there isn’t a ps5 or Xbox x/s emulation chip set yet unfortunately but someone will make it soon enough I’m shocked and blessed we even have ps4 switch xbox one for emulation already

I now have the full 96 TB collection from KrisCoolMod that I'm adding to TWO systems I built from scratch; one is an all-white build with Asus ROG Maximus Z690 Formula motherboard + Intel i9 13900K + ROG Strix II 360 liquid cooler + 64 GB RAM @ 6000 MHz + Asus ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4080. The other is an all-black system with Asus ROG Crosshair X670E Hero motherboard + Ryzen 9 7950X3D + Ryujin III 360 ARGB liquid cooler + 96 GB RAM @ 6600 MHz + Asus ROG Matrix Platinum GeForce RTX 4090 (liquid cooled).
How much did that cost you ? You should do it yourself .
This is unreal. I've seen a lot of emulators but this has to be the biggest and best I've ever seen *so far
It's a breakthrough! You can imagine how big the team is in order to put that together! It was a joy to watch and although I've recently watched this kinda thing on a recent premier video for fans to join in, this time I was glad of not having the distraction to fully immerse myself in the experience or would've been difficult to rapidly absorb. It's overwhelming that it literally has EVERYTHING in possible! Something for everyone!
The xbox one and series, ps4-ps5 listed games play so well because they are the pc variants as long as you have the right hardware that meet the requirements

@MNNMMNNMMNNM where are y'all getting these price numbers from? Was on his website a couple weeks ago and was on there today and the prices for those hard drives are still the same high price compared to the ones you talking about. The 48TB is $2400 while the 96TB is damn near $4800!!

It looks like the drive, alone, is over $4000 US. He sells a PC for about $13000 US. Full setup is almost 20k. The price of a REALLY nice used car.
I think the PS5 games are actually the PC versions, same for Xbox series X - might be worth looking into. Still looks good but I just can't see how you could use all of 96TB - some of it might be fake. I might be wrong but thats how it seems, still nice video, thanks

I had the same thought. Pretty sure these are just PC ports with a PS5 pic in the description. Same for series x as none of those games are actual exclusive to those console

The PS5 and XBSX are just PC games, they're not PS5/XBSX games. There is currently no emulator for either console, nor even the XB1 or PS4 yet unfortunately.
I am very impressed by the number of systems. really at the top. Now I would like to see some rare and never before seen game shot. Example: on Naomi or on tecknop parrot, or Monkey 2. why not organize a live evening where you could play live to show us this in the coming days of October 2023

Don't forget to make a backup. High density 1.44MB floppies are the best.

It appears he added some pc games to Chris’s 48tb setup.
How is it even possible to emulate PS5 and Xbox Series yet? Hell, I thought the PS4 was the newest emulation and that it was still in its infancy at best lol. Mind blown by this build though... it looks awesome!!!
They're actually pc versions of series x and ps5 which I had not realized when doing the tour of this. Play great but not truly ps5 and series x.

And at the same time, one could argue roms as a whole aren't truly the real thing either, just copies of them so I'm cool with it. Maybe they should specify exactly what type of games they really are but it's most likely a selling point so it's understandable I suppose 👍

Honestly, the most impressive part of this is the older PC games. Those are a pain to get running and working, I wonder if they all actually work though.
Everything else is a simple download. I built a 100TB+ so far, just a pain for the PC games.
Really good stuff. The PS4 ps5 Xbox 1x etc are the pc games of those systems is not actual emulation, so you will not have the exclusives that have not been released on pc

I also played that original version of the Oregon trail on a old Macintosh computer that pretty much looked exactly the same as the example one used in the menu for that game system
exclusives. FYI:
For the Xbox one/PS4 and PS5 they are not emulated current systems, it's the PC version as most of the games are both PC and the system. It won't have any of the actual Console exsclusives. Xbox360 and PS3 are emulated.

It's not worth it. Just build a gaming PC, plug in a few 8TB SSDs and download every ROM you'd like to play for free. You'll save yourself thousands.

I still have my controller for the Star Wars reset the PC. I would love to get that thing hooked back up and play some Star Wars with you. I’m pretty sure I need some type of adapter of some sort to get to work. I have to retrofit the plug or something.

I usually go for the warez option if available. But that doesn’t hurt major companies. This guy deserves every penny he asks for his work. It is so amazing and impressive what we are getting here that I would feel like shit if used his work for free. Please support the creator so in the future maybe we will have something like a mini 4tb version for the xbox series available
Does it have optional cheats software included for all games (EG invincibility, infinite ammo, max stats, have all items & equipment)? Trophy achievement system with optional resetting? A timer for speedruns? Remote access software to play anywhere in the world? 24/7 tech support in case new games are released?

$4800 CAD for the 96TB, but no system to run it. It translates to about £2800, but the cost of the hard drives is more like £1080. So they're charging £1720 just to copy some ROMs onto a hard drive.

Looks amazing. But a lot of the text and background images look a bit rushed and compressed and could probably need some work.
Was thinking the same thing. The photoshop and layout is pretty rough. Wonder if you could change the theme or UI at all.
i bought the 4tb RetroBeast version.. but didnt realize it was on a 3.5 inch drive.. i was going to install it in a Ace Magician mini PC.. so i had to buy a 4tb 2.5 inch Samsung SSD to copy it on so it will fit in the mini PC.. that hurt a little.. in the pocketbook that is.. so going to sell the 3.5 inch Hard drive once i convert.. 4TB is going to take a while to copy.. but once its done im going to have one bad ass portable retro setup..
So the 4tb is not a potable hard drive meaning it not an external one ?

@@rickylomeli909 i bought the internal drive.. but thought it was a 2.5 inch drive.. so that was my fault.. but on the site he should make it more obvious what size drive it is.. i bought a external case for the 3.5 drive.. in the end after spending another $250 the mini arcade PC will be complete and awesome..

Oh, I had two of those enclosures. I eventually replaced them with OWC enclosures (with Softraid)
96 TB is awesome but only if your using it for Xbox series X PS5 or PC on Steam on SSD which is very pricey I barely have enough storage on my PS5 to install anymore new games I’m looking forward getting more storage but in SSD not hard drive we use on PS4 xbox one all these years I had windows 10 I never knew why my PC would say you don’t have enough storage when my hard drive wasn’t full it had 4 TB available until the Xbox series X was announced they explained it needs SSD wow my SSD was only 250 gb never knew it was there
As a 30+ IT Professional, Seagate Drives are the worst drives to use. I use Western Digital drives in all repairs and builds. Can you backup the drives to another 16TB drive?

@@knowledge4741 If I was going to put that much time creating a system. Charge 15k for it and probably program a custom launcher. I'd put some kind of copy protection on it. I realize a lot of the older games are considered abandonware some is not. I would not want to pay for a repair, that's why I prefer to use Western Digital drives. I would do a disaster recovery on another set of drives to make sure I never lost any data/game roms. Whats another 2 to 3k for a backup!

ALL of these files are accessible online somewhere. There is NO protection because he doesn't own the files, he can't do that anymore than he can sell these games.
The custom frontend launchers are also available online freely - he didn't create that either.
NOTHING on this drive is his, all found online, just put together and sold because he took the time to do it. If the drives do fail, and those will eventually with the amount of stress on them, you will be out of luck.
I created a better version of this drive, I'm sitting at over 130TB worth of files at the moment, and I'm not done, took me near a month and way less money. AND on a better system with NAS backup if needed.

Hey RGG -- I've been meaning to leave you a comment for quite some time about this particular review, as well as a couple of other topics.
Initially, I learned about this set up through "Drew Talks" but you went into far more detail than he [or anyone else] did in their review. Apologies in advance and I hope you see this because it's a long one -- I'll copy and email it also just in case.
The only other set up that's similar to this that I am aware of is by HyperArcadeSystems (Chris Shaw -- Hyperspin). I am assuming you're aware of him but in the off chance you aren't, I wanted to let you know. I have nothing against Kris Coolmod [or anyone else for that matter doing this] because the amount of work it takes to learn and THEN put something like this together, make sure everything runs perfectly as to have an archive of games with the amount of work that is required -- even if I had the time to learn, for the amount of time and effort that would take, it's well worth paying for. When Drew covered this set up, Chris(of HypArcSys) was VERY active in the comments, responding to all kinds of questions.
The only "drawback" I could see on his was very few "PC" games, meaning everything KCM has going back to all the old games from the 90s up through today's indie & AAA from Steam. My assumption is that all PS4/5 & Xbox One/Series on both set ups are just the PC versions anyway and it doesn't make much sense to double all of them up in my opinion -- these 2 brands aren't any different. There was a reason he doesn't add them, which I don't understand exactly what he means but it's because of "cracked" PC games. I recall also that he had, or was going to have a 48 TB option soon also but I don't remember what that entailed -- that was 5+ months ago.

You can use an xbox Guitar with clone hero and it has all the same music releases as the guitar hero/Rock band games. etc

You've been putting out a ton of awesome videos and as far as I'm concerned, you're at the very top of the reviewers I have found on YT; clearly I am not alone on that opinion. Honestly and integrity is rare in the times we live right now where people will say anything or clicks, attention and especially money/power -- I definitely respect that.
If I had ONE request to ask you personally as a reviewer, it would be an "update" on the 96TB KrisCoolmod set up, a review on the 32TB Chris Shaw's HyperArcadeSystem, and THEN a comparison video talking about things such as "online" play, how long any "hard drive" is really expected to last and what one would do to transfer to new HDDs, or better yet SDDs -- you know, when we win the lottery -- and probably the most important thing; What type of PC, including minimum graphics card, as well as "power strip" would someone need to run either one of these beasts -- I don't think a Mini PC would cut it even with a graphics card but I could be wrong.
If I was lucky and got a second request in there, it would be for you to invite Jason Graves on for a Live Stream -- that "kid" is only 25 but I like his review style; it's not the same cookie cutter snowflake BS you get from some people and I don't think he cares if he "offends". I like that and it shows that he has got a backbone....not to mention, he is beating and reviewing every SNES/SF RPG -- which means I will never have to attempt the ones that are GARBAGE because he did it for me...and I am entertained. That's a Win-Win if you ask me!
**PS** -- Your "interviews" [where the screen doesn't need to be seen] should be "podcasted" so Podcast Addict picks them up.....I need this shit on the go man!

Howdy guy. I am confused. If I purchased the 96TB system, what about the controllers? I would think u can plug it in the 96TB unit, it would work. I have at least 3 controllers, SNES, N64, and NVIDIA SHIELD. But Windows sees some of them, but I can't program them. I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks, Sam

Were you able to confirm if the PS5/Newer Xbox titles were actually emulated? I have a strong belief that they are likely only games that got PC ports and they are using the PC versions of the games but categorized under the console. To my knowledge emulation is impossible for these consoles, so I'd love to know what's going on behind the scenes there.
Adobe flash should’ve been in computer games.. I know there is a flash folder on emulation station

He may have a pc bundle option but it was just the drives and their enclosure.

My 2tb setup has over 10 console emulators and about 1000 games still downloading looking at pcsx4 next.
22tb seagate exos 22x2 or 20tb seagate exos x5 slot system orion or LaCie
There are definitely no working emulators for XBox series or PS4 PS5, those are cracked PC games listed under those consoles.
Soon there will be 64TB micro SD cards with most of this on one card, right upto PS4 anyway
All the "modern console games" XBOX One, XBOX Series X and PS5 are the pc-ports of this games. No emulation, simply stolen PC-games under a fancy hood.
So much ..i don't think i would be able to play everything ..I'd be overwhelm with all that
However, we all notice that the interface is very beautiful, but everyone wants to see the games running to see how they move. In general, all the interfaces are nice, but when it has to run, we have big doubts!
Might as well put the whole internet inside.
I have 48 tybe and it gets overwhelming just making a choice of what you are going to play. You see thousands of games you forgot existed.
Ah yes, totally definitely real PS5 emulation here.
RetroBeast 96TB is fantastic
there is a Retro Beast 112 Tb
I hope he keeps a mirrored backup of that 96TB.
