i am 75 years old and shaqis the most down to earth man i have ever heard about. his kindness spreads happiness amoung a lot of people. thank you sir for everything you do
Shaquille O'Neal shows us that true power doesn't need to shout. His calm and composed approach in this situation proves that respect and dignity always prevail. Wishing him even more success on and off the court!
Piss off Shaq, piss off me. I’m an 80 year old grandmother who has had a crush on this gentleman for years. The kindness he supplies the human race warms my heart. Dr O’Neill has a great deal of standing with me.
This story perfectly captures why Shaq is such a legend, both on and off the court! His calm yet firm stance against entitlement and unfair treatment is so inspiring. I love how he not only stood up for himself but also ensured the staff didn’t face any fallout from Redwood’s behavior. A true lesson in grace and power! Who else felt a sense of justice when her corporate account got suspended? 🙌🔥"
Thank you for standing your ground. I’ve seen you do a true act of kindness for someone at a hospital. You didn’t have reporters or anyone trying to make you look like (look what I do). You’re a good man with much respect for others. That’s why I find you to be a good example. Thank you for being you!😊🙏🐾
Shaq, you handled that with the wisdom of a legend! Your ability to stand your ground while remaining respectful is something we all can learn from. Here's to your continued success and inspiring the world with your character!
This video is truly inspiring! Shaquille O'Neal not only stood his ground with grace but also set an example of dignity and fairness. His calm yet firm response in such a challenging situation shows the true power of character. what a real basketball player !
I was an Airport Manager for 15 years and had to resolve seating drama onboard Aircraft Cabins at least once per week .. And I became rather good at doing it ...😊♨️
He did boast about flying commercial, but O'Neal purchased a Bombardier Challenger 605, with the registration N3250N, in 2023. The jet cost around $27 million and was the athlete's first private jet. So depending on when this video was created could have a hint of truth or utter bullshite.
Really how fi you make a fake story with real people and real names. If I’m shak and this is a fake story I would be up in arms and the first to call it out as fake and a lie about me. IDIOTS.
that was intense! Shaq’s calm and collected response in such a stressful situation was absolutely admirable. It’s amazing how he managed to turn a potentially negative encounter into a positive outcome for everyone involved.
It should never have gone that far. As soon as it was seen that Shaqs ticket was correct, it should have ended regardless of what the woman had to say. She should of been removed by force.
You have to have been living on Mars the last 20 to 30 years to not recognize Shaq not to mention even if you didn't recognize him, you should just automatically be like. I don't think I want to mess with that guy
I'm TIRED of hearing these stories, I'm almost starting to believe that the Ai internet is starting to create these stories. I'm familiar with Shaq being mistreated but some of these are a little too much... and really, doesn't he fly his OWN PJ or not? Just doesn't make sense 😮
First off the racism comes in because she scanned the entire first class and settled on Shaq to wield her entitlement and lack of melanin on… Second in almost every situation racism and entitlement are almost interchangeable… Lastly.. how come this never happens with any other minority trying to flex on caucasians….. just curious… if you can provide examples… I’d be interested…
If the lady was a platinum member of that airline, she should be able to read her ticket. If a person has a physical challenge (even extra height) they should be accommodated.
Well you said the entire team got fired, at the end the whole staff kept their jobs, maybe you need to retype your title, because it not quite as same as your story.
I do not know of this man but I'm happy he is a good hearted man and it was right of him to stand his ground, too many times his people had to take the back seat to a certain color of people...thank you Shag...❤
Flo1918, do a quick google search by name and possibly include nba in your search. You might be pleasantly surprised at the fame, wealth and power of this man. That in itself is not the point, but the fact that he did not flaunt his identity and (considerable) weight around is what’s important. He remained respectful throughout, and that’s a testament to his integrity and basic humanity as a person. He could have acted very differently…but he didn’t. That tells us everything about him.
This may be a made up story, but what was narrated here is not too far from reality. There are many people that because of the money and influence they have think they can just walkover other people who may not be as connected or influential as they are. Their sense of entitlement is appalling. I despise people like that. If I was in that position and the woman would ask nicely and respectfully and had a legitimate reason for needed the seat, I would gladly switch seats, but if you come to me with arrogance and your sense of entitlement they would have to forcefully remove me from the seat because I’m not the type to be bulling by these kind of spoiled brats.
I love Shaq. He's been a hero to me for years. But, I seen so many accounts of incidents of this sort. This is the 5th airline incident I've seen on UA-cam that involves him. Are they all real? I'm beginning to have doubts.
"Congratulations to Shaquille O'Neal, not only a basketball legend but also a true role model for resilience and respect in life! The way he handled the situation with calm and dignity is truly inspiring. I hope he continues to succeed and remain a source of motivation for all of us. Thank you for teaching us the power of calmness and fairness! Wishing you good health and all the best in your future endeavors!"
Interesting story and lacks credibility. Not one thing in the video gives any credibility that this is a true story. Stock video and pictures. Shows Shaq talking during an interview of some sort, but no audio. More than likely has nothing to do with the plane issue. Love how the commentator talks about Shaq's and other people's thoughts as if he is in their head. Conveniently, it's about another "entitled white woman." Can I get a clean up on aisle, "racism." Whatever gets the views I guess. BTW- there was no mention of the whole team being fired, but it is in the title.
Air hostesses has no rights to ask a legitimate seat number passengers to switch the seat - doesn’t matter how reputed passengers they are. Unless the people are physically sick and really need that seat- otherwise the air hostesses must ask to seat their own seat numbers- no exchange or compromise- and specially who ever discriminates should not allowed in that flight and it should be applicable for the flight attendants too.
Regardless... Sick passengers have the option of offloading themselves and traveling on another day ... A VIP passenger was once an ordinary passenger... Every passenger needs to be treated with respect..😊
Haha, hey if it says on my boarding pass it says there and thats it ! And asking a guy his size for the bigger seat, bwahhahaaa. I would not even think of, regardless of any status
The whole problem is ENTITLEMENT.. In my entire career , I never once caved in to pressure.. Often , in fact , I would use my discretion to upgrade the polite passenger and leave the complainant on the lower class seat that they were demanding...😊♨️
What Shaq is doing is sharing stories that are probably real experiences to help inspire people to respond with grace, peace, dignity and love. Be smarter and turn the other cheek, not so to be slapped again but to remove the offense... You can only truly control yourself, and being brave enough to utilize wisdom, while allowing truth, love and what's right to prevail speaks volumes of your character. I love these stories... We can learn from them. ❤💯❤️

Go Granny!🥰🥰

It means a lot to hear that!
Fake
Shaq, you handled that with the wisdom of a legend! Your ability to stand your ground while remaining respectful is something we all can learn from. Here's to your continued success and inspiring the world with your character!
Shaq is the most gentle generous person you could ever hope to meet.
I've met him. It's all for the camera. Not as nice as you think.
MAYBE not O''NEAL, BUT THIS HAPPENS all the time.
This man should be the world's ambassador he is so awesome and down to earth. I just love him. Sharon Lewis from St. Louis
This video is truly inspiring! Shaquille O'Neal not only stood his ground with grace but also set an example of dignity and fairness. His calm yet firm response in such a challenging situation shows the true power of character. what a real basketball player !
That's a nice short story if completely fictional.
They got a little carried away as we know reality progresses a little differently

Open Link and Enjoy “A True Story” Mike 🎷 Phillips 🤙🏽
That lady just got slam dunked by Shaq... the staff needed a lesson in humility too
Loved Mr. Shaq action...will help all people
Most BIG humans don’t have any thing to prove they’re generally laid back. I could list quite a few examples. . And mr O’Neil has a huge heart
What I like about shaquille O'Neal is that he is down to earth.
3:22 u r a very good man with everyone an not just helpin with the kids. Thank u sir.
O’Neal is a great man.he always shows kindness to people.thank god for a good person like him
Shaq deserves every respect and don't disrespect him over white but have dark soul. Got their karma quick!
What airline is this? (Certainly not Air China as illustrated in the clip
I said out loud OH MY GOD!! How dare the flight attendant ask Shaq to move!!!
I DON'T believe for 1 minute this story is legit BUT ENJOYED IT! Good story telling ❤
me too
I was an Airport Manager for 15 years and had to resolve seating drama onboard Aircraft Cabins at least once per week ..
And I became rather good at doing it ...😊♨️
THIS MAY NOT have been SHAQ, BUT THIS happens all the time
it's amazing, isnt it, how detailed these things get...agreed, this is obviously cobbled together.
Great story but I believe Shaq hasn't flown commercial for decades.
Shaq knows how to take care of business ❤😊
Shaq is a good hearted man. Good of him to use his calm voice to expressed himself.
He did boast about flying commercial, but O'Neal purchased a Bombardier Challenger 605, with the registration N3250N, in 2023. The jet cost around $27 million and was the athlete's first private jet. So depending on when this video was created could have a hint of truth or utter bullshite.
Priceless! Well played.
This presentation is appropriate for a fictional story.
I have heard so many versions of the same fake story with Shaq or other black characters.
Shah has always come across as a very nice person. Always respectful.
That's exactly right!
Shaq is a sweetie, soft spoken and generous. Just don’t cross him, his fairness meter is right on.
This story sends a strong message about the importance of empathy and humanity. Thank you for sharing!
I'll take "this never happened " for $500 Alex.
For $100, Art
VIP in this airline. I laughed. Shaq is MVP in NBA.
"Shaq's reaction was legendary! A perfect example of class and self-worth.
This sounds like one of those made up stories about a Celeb just for gathering viewers. Yes I fell for it.
Shaq never forgot where he came from. My friend worked with his Aunt and he used to send deflated autographed basketballs for friends.
If this is true shaq should own the airline
No we do not have a seat problem, please go to your assigned seat stated on your ticket stub , thank you !!!
And I guess the Captain who should've been notified had the runnings and was in the toilet 🪠 the whole time
Unreal
Shaq is A very upstanding man ❤😊
Yet Another Great fictional story.
It should never have gone that far. As soon as it was seen that Shaqs ticket was correct, it should have ended regardless of what the woman had to say. She should of been removed by force.
In addition Shaw owns a challenger 650. One of the larger business jets with great headroom. He does not fly commercial.
Are these real stories? Who in this world does not recognize shaquille o'neal.
This doesn't seem like an actual occurrence after what I observed of his behavior on a red eye flight I was on with him from Hawaii to LA years ago.
We don't need all that explanation and excuse making. Shaquille was in his seat and shouldn't move.
Love the mans integrity.
It's nice to be important but it's important to be nice.
Shaq could buy the airline lol
This is a fictional story. This never happened. This is for entertainment only
Still dont know if it was Air China or Ryan Air neither of which flies from Boston to LA.....?
If this is a true story, I do feel sorry for the flight crew dealing with such a tricky situation
Glad to see the RIGHT TEAM WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!
Even if the store is true, why would you as Shaq be flying commercial and not private?
That was wonderful until the shot of a low budget Ryanair plane filled the screen 😂😂
Why must you play the race card. If this even happened it’s about entitlement NOT race.
We all know SHAQ is royalty.
Nobody calls him, Big Shaq.
Ridiculous situation, this interaction would never be escalated to this level.
He took Air China on a US WESTBOUND? red eye?
If the lady was a platinum member of that airline, she should be able to read her ticket. If a person has a physical challenge (even extra height) they should be accommodated.
I don't believe a word of it.
😂😂😂😂
Well you said the entire team got fired, at the end the whole staff kept their jobs, maybe you need to retype your title, because it not quite as same as your story.
Great story but I don't belive a word of it.
Shaq flying first class, really??
Guy is worth $400,000,000. He flys privite.
Wtf a big famous guy shaq wasnt recognized. Tho he is really a nice kind guy who do good deeds in every way possible he can
should we check the validity of this "story?"
Shaq has his own 27m jet
Would not happen. Especially with a very recognizable celebrity.
Telling Shaq do you know who I am! 😂
Wow.Is this even true? Sounds like more or less to the story...No judgement just sounds strange.
I do not know of this man but I'm happy he is a good hearted man and it was right of him to stand his ground, too many times his people had to take the back seat to a certain color of people...thank you Shag...❤

Would Love to meet Shaq someday. He makes me smile every time I see him on TV. What a Great guy.

HE NEED ALL OF THE LEG ROOM AS POSSIBLE
Every News outlet would have been at this
I love Shaq. He's been a hero to me for years. But, I seen so many accounts of incidents of this sort. This is the 5th airline incident I've seen on UA-cam that involves him.
Are they all real?
I'm beginning to have doubts.
i'm having trouble believing this. even if you don't watch basketball. why would you bother a 7 foot tall dude?
Especially one who looks like an NFL left tackle
Shaq is clearly everything a great man is and should be.What a gift from God he truly is.Much love to you buddy!
This is fabrication, not true at all .why don't you let us hear the conversation
Shaq is a national treasure
Shaq ain’t flying commercial.
Learn to pick your fights.... I have never met Shaq, but what they show of him has been more than honorable and polite.
What's the bets this is not a true story. If not, it's an entire waste of my time. 🙄
This makes me laugh you are showing Air China when its suppose to be a domestic american flighi.
Some don't know of him or his kindness to others.

What if I don’t have Shaq money or connects? Would I been removed from my assigned seat?
I would almost believe this. If they did'nt use clips from the 70's. Total bullshit.
Shaq is down to earth but don't push him to a corner
Ha ha ha. "Felicia arrived." Some of you will get it.
The whole problem is ENTITLEMENT..
In my entire career , I never once caved in to pressure..
Often , in fact , I would use my discretion to upgrade the polite passenger and leave the complainant on the lower class seat that they were demanding...😊♨️
Not a reputable news story, sounds a lot like the fake story about Snoop Dog, especially the narration.
Good for Shaq!! He should never have been asked to move!
It's hard to care about what goes on in first class when you live in coach...
Shaq wouldn't be a part of this rhetoric! He also has a jet

This is why I've always Loved this guy. Standing up to Blatant racism. I'm Totally Sorry Shaq. Keep your chin up. ✌️
We are supposed to believe Shaq flies commercial?
