In the 1990s I did a tour with The Jordanaires, it was, Tribute to Patsy Cline. Ray and the guys were so nice and shared some of these stories about Elvis and so many others. In all my years the only autographs I ever asked for was the tee shirt I got from that tour, signed by all the The Jordanaires. Thanks for sharing Trey.

After Elvis died our family started going to see Ronnie McDowell and we became friends with him. He is one of the few that knows about our Elvis tape.

Thank you Trey I watch your Channel all the time I wish I could have got down there but I live in Arizona always wanted to bring my fiance down there for Elvis Week I didn't get a chance he passed away last year July 3rd 2020 on my birthday and my health has deteriorated I'm trying to hang on she was all I had I have no one else I'm all alone and I have dental problems that's deteriorating my health God I wish there was someone that could help me

Th to everyone who said they would have pushed me. I really appreciate it. My point is that Elvis would not have put up with this treatment. I know a 5th cousin isn't close but when I was on the street for 2 days when he died and never missed a candlelight vigil this treatment by EPE is terrible.

Great stories . I think these new deepfake videos will give you and Spa Guy headaches. More dispelling that that is not Elvis, especially to the casual fan. The deepfake one of him singing After Loving You is quite good. The quality will unfortunatly get even better and will mislead more people.
Yes, I dislike and distrust the deep fake videos of Elvis, for multiple reasons, but there may come a time when I too will get fooled into believing that something unreal is real. But even if they are able to fool diehard fans like me, it doesn't change my opinion that it is disrespectful, unethical and hurtful to Elvis's spirit and feelings when they use his synthesized voice and likeness to perform other people's words & actions without explicit permission from him (I put myself in his shoes and shudder about this).
Don't these deep fakers realise they are turning him into their puppet & making him sing, dance, say or do things that he may not have wanted to? Perhaps they get a rush of adrenaline because they have digital control to do as they will with his iconic qualities? To me it's sheer exploitation if Elvis hasn't given his explicit consent for it.
I would be just as upset if EPE or SME or some other rights-owning company or anyone down the line were to sense a business opportunity in this and gave their 'legal' permission to use and manipulate Elvis's voice and likeness in deep fakes. Hope they never do that. Deep faking of deceased people should be off limits.
It's all so dangerous and unfair to Elvis, when he can no longer be here to refuse permission, or even to protect and defend his own way of thinking and personal interests.
@@cnath3466 Well said C. Nath I agree. I will predict though that in the next 5 years there will be a new movie starring Elvis. The tech will be here to make it happen. Others will follow. John Wayne, James Dean. Tyson vs Ali. The sky the limit. Ultimately the general public will determine it's sussess by rather the collective will show up at the box office to watch.. I have a feeling they will unfortuantly
@@douglashagstrom9261 Thank you. Yes, you are probably right about the rapid progress of this technology in coming years, and its likely popularity among the general public. We have to hope that ethical considerations such as informed consent will eventually be incorporated too.
In this context, the excellent work of Spa Guy, Trey and other dedicated fans to authenticate facts, videos, locations, etc, related to Elvis's life (as he actually lived it) are an invaluable public service to those of us fans who wish to keep it real.
I really resent the fake Elvis things they are doing! All to make money and exploit Elvis fans! To me it's sacriligious!
I think he got his songs mixed up. There's no way he never heard "How Great Thou Art".
Trey i talked to EPE they said in reference to the guard not letting me to the gravesite.
I called EPE and the operations manager said he appologises for how it was ssid but i. Case I lost control of the wheel chair coming down they couldnt take the chance. I have a call into Jack Snowden. I was on the street when he died
Im his 5th cousin.I been to Every candle light service execpt this year. I toured GRACELAND when Aunt Delta still living there. So this is a mockery of Elvis.Money maker. And i got 2 gift cards that do not work. EPE is crap noone should go there or give them money.

Don't understand some fans not helping you. Had to push my mother around for a while in a wheel chair when she was ill . So if I was there I would have definitely pushed you up to the grave site. 👍

Trey, would it be possible ti have an interview with Ray..you or Billie? I love people who present the real Elvis instead of some fabricated lost soul.
I’m sorry, but the story of Elvis not knowing How Great Thou Art just doesn’t make sense. I know Ray Walker has told that often, but Elvis had records in his collection that had the song on it that were recorded before he did it. And his version uses the same arrangement as the Statesmen, which he would have been familiar with. It’s possible Elvis had never read the scoring of it, but I’m sure he knew the song.
