That’s amazing 😂 I would’ve loved to see the flute hahaha
I can't wait for the fire instruments
buster only full screen mode captions on boss rush that'll be lit
When you make a song of ice and fire, you get Game of Thrones. And then the fictional barrier gets breached and the Night King invades Sweden.
Watch Mad Max fury road.
"Everything changed when the fire musicians attacked."
Holy smokes
*the violin sounded so nICE*
Super Flute RIGHT!!! Beautiful sound. I have now heard my favorite violin.
I am no violin expert but it's one of the most beautiful sounds I've ever heard. Gonna watch it again now.🎻🌬
I honestly didn't like the sound of the ice violin, the ice guitar sounded much more interesting
You guys didn't understand the joke
Yep!
I think it's safe to say the band playing the is coolest band ever..
David Hauzel “coolest”

Snow (Hey Oh) on repeat.
Average Action hahahaha
they’d just become chilly peppers
Is that a JoJo reference
well, what's a chili player?. If, you meant pepper they might become the not-so red hot chili peppers, or even the luke warm chili peppers.... Or they would just continue to be 'has beans' ROFL!
Looks like a nice place to go chill 😜
¬¬
I see what u did there lol
Looks like an ice place to go chill

"The ice instrument is made of frozen water" --- *face palm* you don't say.
and we're made of melted water
qumquat Melted ice bro... you are even worse.
submedication saving future rxscriptions
+IMr LAPs, To be fair I wrote my comment before he said "we're made out of melted water". Though, that said. I still find trying to make a spiritual connection between "ice instruments being made from frozen water" and humans being "made of melted water" silly. But each to their own I guess.
IMr LAPS lol, this guy and his 61 likes are stoopid
That looks like a cool concert.. 😎
Uranus hahaha that was so punny.
Literally the title of the video.
Wood instruments, Wind instruments, and now Water instruments...
But everything changed when the Fire instruments played...
You need to play a song a song of ice and fire
Yeah, get some fire involved...but it could turn into a song of water very quickly.
That would be cool and fitting. The ambience of the whole place looks like somewhere beyond the Wall. I wanna hear Jon Snoowww
Just don't try to play Through the Fire and Flames.
^^winds of winter would be cool as
What's more amazing than a creative and artistic mind accompanied with commitment?
Well done really.
It would be neat to see instruments made with other types of crystals
He should have played Vanilla Ice, just for kicks.
DJstoopnig Maybe they did!
“We’re made of melted water” this dude is rolling on that thin mountain air 😜 love it
2:04 Because the audience is breathing lol. It's beautiful art though
nathanael thomas well when you have 25-35 people breathing air at about 98.6 degrees in a small sealed room, it gets kinda warm
Nicholas Johnson I get that but it kinda sounds funny to me
@@nathanaelthomas2945 It sounds as if only the audience was breathing not them
The ice instruments sound so beautiful
las malvinas argentinas
The ice violin sounds so beautiful!!
Live from the planet Hoth!
..Seriously though, this is beautiful~
Needless to say this is gorgeous. I have an obsession with ice myself.
*_WHAT A CHILLING EXPERIENCE!_*
Tremendous video. Mind blowing
When he tried to make that "spiritual connection" by stating that the instruments are made of frozen water and we are made of melted water that just cheapened the entire thing for me. Can't you just enjoy the fact that they're instruments made out of freaking ice?
L S thank you ...
I thought exactly the same thing.
I thought I was the only one
Dude chill out, honestly I laughed
He said we are made out of melted water
we are made of ..... just water
So melted ICE
I don't think it was "spiritual," I think he was just trying to make a joke.
He meant there is something poetic about it, ‘spiritual’ might not have been the most effective term. So what. Relax.
Grow up.
The ice violin sounds so so beautiful
It took him "quite a while" to guess that the temperature fluctuation would affect the tuning of the instruments...
Really ? It's like the first thing that should come to mind.
at minus 4 degrees, no I do not think I would've though that either... maybe at 10 degrees but... that's freaking cold... sometimes you need to experience something... also, no way to tell how long each instrument would last unless he tried it
-10 isn't cold; it's refreshing. When I was in the army, we had -53. That's cold.
teppolungren it is cold tho
teppolundgren watch out we got a badass over here
Everything is obvious after being explained
Even though it is ice this...
Melted my heart.
He starts describing the problems of ice instruments: "You have warm bodies next to cold instruments, the ice melts, people heat up the room with breathing..." If only there was a way to maintain the solid form for a long time without constant maintenance.
You mean by not making them out of ice?
Lool sounds dirty when i read it...why😂😂
Put vampires to play on the instruments
There are things you could add to the ice to make it more stable, but that probably goes against his ethos.
play in a freezer.........DUUUUUUUHHH
Listening to this ice violin makes me so happy and fulfilled.
Ice sculptg, music, instrument maker, architecture.... wow... this guy's amazing!Full on music on ice kind of thing
fake japanese
Beautiful constructions. This is art. From creating to playing even maintaining. It's beautiful and pure.
"Melted water"
*YOU HEAR THAT SCIENCE TEACHER?*
the world needs more of this type of exploration.
"We're made of melted water", water can melt?🤔
Frozen water when melted is melted water. Remember: water can be frozen, gaseous, or liquid.
Bose-Einstein water is not melted. The state of water is fluid, and cannot be melted. Applying heat will cause the liquid to evaporate. When water is in the frozen state, it is solid. From a solid form, it can be melted. From a solid only can something be melted. A liquid could have been melted from a solid, just like molten steel is 'melted' metal at a very high temperature. But the water in its liquid form is not inherently melted unless stated it was melted from a solid form.
+Benjamin Rivera
You forget that everything is relative. There is no 'inherent' form of water. In the vacuum of space (due to extremely low pressure)), water is inherently a gas. On Mars, water is inherently a solid. Sure, water is commonly denoted as a liquid for the average person, but this is science we are talking about where you need to be more specific as to which phase you are speaking of.
Oh, and even though the guy in the video is technically right by saying 'melted water', the 'we are made of' line is kinda strange. Don't think I am defending his strange word choices. I'm only responding to the specific question of op, which is "water can melt?".
Bose-Einstein I understand what you're saying and I'm correcting myself, the normal state of water to the average human being is liquid. Unless you live in Mars, or somewhere below the freezing point (his situation), the normal water state to the average human you're speaking to will know water as liquid. To the majority of the world, water is inherently known as liquid. I understand that where he lives, water might commonly be known as solid, so in his case it makes sense. But unless the water was previously frozen, saying, "melted water" is wrong in any situation. And that is because melted is the past tense of melt meaning that it was previously frozen. In his case, it's wrong because the water in our body was not previously frozen.
I understand what you're saying now though. You're right. Water can melt when it's in its frozen state so unless it's state is otherwise mentioned, it can get a bit tricky. I misunderstood you good talking to you though👍🏻
Bose-Einstein he's is a spiritual person probably Christian. Ex. "He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, 'From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.'" Or "He sent from on high, He took me; He drew me out of many waters." I think that one is from Samuel, forgot the other one. But yeah a lot of water in religion so if your parched, ya know where to go, so to speak. Nothing about frozen waters. However, there are hints of talk about Antarctica it would seem in books that use to be in the Judaic Christian texts before the Council of Nicea.
What a heart warming performance...but not too warm
Now play ice ice baby
My two favorite things, ice and music. My life is complete.
This guy should work at Disney World
Absolutely wonderful. "They actually did it.!"
But can you make an ice trombone for me tho?😂😂
They are just amazing,unbelievable.
maybe it was just the room but that violin sound was clean af
It's amazing to see that people still have original ideas
I don't know how to say how much I feel about this.
Music is a deep source of love in the world and i feel like this is a very well new defined way of music, this is genius and it is one of the best videos of music i have seen in a long time
Whats cooler than being cool? Ice Cold!
The violin has such a soft, clear tone.
i whant to see that guy and say, hey thats pretty cool. well done.
Nuclear Mayhem nice
Games Games you mean nICE
THIS IS THE EXAMPLE OF WORD 'COOL'... EVERYTHING COOL EVEN MUSIC TOO... REALLY COOL..
In Soviet Russia, the instruments play YOU!
When he said "Welcome To My Dreams" I got chills.
I have shared this with my elementary music students. They have numerous questions they would like to answer. Most of them I answer with, "I don't know for sure, but I assume......" . Is there a way we contact the gentleman in this video so that we could ask him some questions? It would be great if we could even Skype. However, email or snail mail would be amazing, too.
2:37 I am impressed that you were able to discern two opposing vectors in sound!!!!
This guy's gotta be a Scorpio.
1:37 Thats a great logo too. Brilliant.
This is astonishing. So Beautiful & Revolutionary!
Incredible!
I agree with the topic it was very wonderful and I encourage everyone to go and listen to a wonderful piece of music.
okay but have you tried playing the ice cymbal
Weesaan lmfao
That might crash the ride lol
@barry allen: No idiot. He means cymbal.
@barry allen you are the idiot HAHAHA
I've played an ice cymbal, once.
This makes my heart smile.
What a cool idea its really (n)Ice
They sound so beautiful
You can really see the nature of the people in the comment section. Always focused on other's mistake.
It wasn't a mistake though, that's what he MEANT TO SAY!
It’s amazing how you get correct string tension on the violin, bass and guitar from anchoring to ice....! -Genius-
Yeah I keep my trumpet in the freezer too
Love the hats.
I want that violin
*Ice Violin:* (plays)
*Manny:* Yea, like, frozen. Like I have actual *chills*
Guy: what instrument do you play?
Me: I play this ice violin 😎😎😎😎😎
I had no idea an ice violin could actually play!!
amazing! very beautiful music! keep on singing and playing beautiful music to the world!
i would love to get my hands of those instruments so much! as a pianist i love strange designs of classic instruments! this is truly fascinating!
Beautiful creation👏👏👏👏
this is so beautiful
king pedro barcelona-gano 😀
The stringed instruments are really cool sounding
Absolutely beautiful, thank you.
That ice violin was blizzare.
how did they froze singer's vocal cords?
wow... so much effort and time went into this and there music is very good....i wish i could have been there
All that electricity.... all that "water"....
purified water does not conduct electricity.
The band: we need a vocalist.
ICE CUBE: I'm in
Conductor: What do you play?
Me: Ice, sir.
Conductor: Heh. Think you're being funny do ya?
Me: *pulls out ice violin* No. No sir.
That is magic - so awesome - I love the sound
I basically live neighbor with Luleå and I've never known that they play with ice instruments there
Definition of Magic: Unbelievable, but happening.
Not bad.
Keep Refrigerated For Longer Use
How literally cool...
Bit disappointing that the stringed instruments all appear to be electric.
I am disappointed too: the strings are metal, not ice…
C'mon, Laurens. When I wrote strings I really meant strings (proper), not string instruments. Why do you think I am wearing the jester hat in my avatar picture?
It would be nice to hear the sound a violin's ice soundbox makes because as an electric instrument, apart from the aesthetic value, the body may as well be made of concrete.
B. Hagedash Yeah I was really looking forward to hearing the actual sound of the ice. I wonder if he has tried and it simply doesn't sound good, or he just lacks the knowedlege of instrument crafting.
Someone posted that they use piezo pickups, not magnetic, so they do pick up the vibrations in the ice.
Beautiful sounds. I love this!
Its the final countdown. Bah dah dun dun dah!! Europe on Ice!
Wow..
I might not be musically gifted but if I just listen to it I could not tell it was made of ice. just WOW!!
Once I was frozen inside the belly of a sliced open tan-tan, in a literal ice world, and we played music just like this. SERIOUSLY WOW!
The sound resonates in a very metallic way, like they’re made of steel
different strokes for different folks, I guess.
😍 the instruments look so pretty
PLEASE play Trapped under ice by Metallica.
This would be perfect for that grumpy villain Mr. Freeze....the soothing sounds would put a smile on his face and turn him good.
Someone needs to tune those instruments.
Someone needs to watch the video.
i did watch the video. there has to be a way to tune
+cinnamon Duck
You're an idiot, then. They do tune them, they just detune WHILE playing. You can't tune AND play at the same time.
You can't do that on an acoustic guitar, but you can easily do it on a fretless instrument, like the violin and bass that they have.
I would say it is just amazing how these people create all that instruments, music and the how consept just from ice. It is a great effort I have to admit.
So I'm assuming you get cool music only?
