Hello teacher Kara, I want to tell you that you speak very clearly and at a good pace, I can almost understand everything you say. I am a beginner level and sometimes it is difficult for me to understand when natives speak quickly. Thank you for sharing, you are doing a great job.
Thanks for your comment! Most states do actually require some form of ID, and all states have systems to verify voter registration. Every polling place has a list of registered voters specific to that location, including personal details like address and birthdate, which poll workers check before you can vote. If you're not registered at that location, you won’t be able to vote there. So, it’s not possible to just walk in and vote without being registered-there are systems in place to prevent that. Thanks for bringing this up and for sharing your thoughts! 😊
The other big tragic think kn Brazil is: Just 5% those who realy should guide the country are put there by popular vote. And the most unbelievable, who realy realy guide, they have lifetime tenure and we dont vote for them. 😮
With the electoral college, it can feel like our votes don’t really count. For example, if you live in a red or blue state, but vote for the other party, it feels like you don’t have a voice at all. We also saw in Trump’s first election that he won the electoral college but lost the popular vote.
Hi, I'm not quite sure what you are asking, but a felony is considered a more serious crime, compared to a misdemeanor which is less serious. Voter fraud, for example, is considered a felony.

In Brazil, vote is a obligatory civil right. Dont make sense.
Ms. Kara , How do you say " Only American citizens can VOTE " ??? Can you spell FELONY and explain what that is.
