Again and again: clear “system”, simple ideas... intuitive design... you guys are the best Most of bag companies tend to complicate things more and more, but Evergoods, put everything to the basics
I've bought the CAP2 twice. Once because I couldn't find the best use for it and because of the eye watering price for what is essentially a pouch with partitions. It is however a superb pouch if you use a bag with a huge empty cavity or a bag with a less than ideal quick access pocket. I now use it with a floppy lightweight backpack to store my chargers, house keys, power bank, mini fan and money. I don't need a wallet anymore. It's very convenient at the airport where you can just flip the bag around your shoulder, pull this pouch out, and voila. Passport, money, phone and boarding pass all easily accessible. Easy to put back in your bag. And when you need it just look for the big sturdy pouch in your bag full of clothes and doodads. It can be a great anchor for a light bag or any bag without too much internal organization.
Man, you guys are doing some truly amazing design work! And then you follow it up with great build quality in production. This pouch looks perfect. It's the thing I didn't even know I needed until I saw it - and I say this as someone who's pretty happy with the two pouches I carry in my backpack now. This looks like it'll replace both of them, while also packing more efficiently and behaving better in my backpack. Can't wait to see it in person!
Man, you guys keep raising the bar in the market of bags and everyday carry. The simplicity of your designs and the attention to detail blow me away every time! Was talking to my girlfriend recently about how I would love a CHZ in a bigger format. Fast forward to Monday and you guys released it, pre-ordered both the Civic access pouch and the bag. Keep being awesome guys. PS: Jack that Canvas jacket is pretty badass, where is it from?
Well done! I absolutely love mine. I have a LOT loaded in mine (EDC) but it does not feel "crammed full" and I can see and easily get to everything. Its almost like you all had my EDC items and built this pouch around them! I love the built in versatility. And the top part that can be accessed from both the outside and inside of the pouch? Pure genius! I own many pouches with many different configurations, but none of them have organized so much, so well, so accessibly, in such a small space.

Evergoods embodies Elegance. Believe it or not, my CPL24 v1 hangs on my wall like a piece of art. Don't get me wrong, I use it every single day as my edc bag and I'm definitely not gentle with it. But every night, once it's back on my wall, it stops being a bag and becomes a thing of elegance and beauty. I have a feeling the Civic Access Pouch 2L will share a similar such place in my life.
Truly inspiring. Very functional and yet optimizing the space to the max, making packing and organizing much easier. Whether it's occupying a backpack or a luggage, it allows stacking and space optimization, sort of like hard disk drive defragmentation. This will be my first Evergoods item.

LOVE the materials on the pouch. I think I actually like the 420HT more than the 500 on the CPL28 and CHZ22 I have. Both are great but the 420 is slicker? Regardless, you guys make A+++ goods and I am a fan.
Any plans to make a quick video on how it fits in the bottom of all your different packs? I know I'm curious to see how it fits lying down and upright in the bottom of the MPL30 V2 and how much space it takes up in the bag.
Brandon- No plans presently. Dimensions are 9.5 x 3.5 x 5.75 in . Vid would be cool but not a hot ticket priority with our limited ability to make vids. Maybe we could do an IG stories or something sooner than later. Jack
Great pouch - I love it. Don't you think an additional, smaller pouch would be great, too. Like, say, 1 Liter? Same design, just half the thickness? That could easily replace my Maxpedition EDC kit. :)
Absolutely love it. Just want to ask one question to be sure. I have the CHZ22, will this fit to the bottom of it if I'd want to carry it there and not at the top?
Hard to close. No structure to hold the shape and nothing to grab onto at the base of the zipper. You pull, it collapses. They know this -- notice the use of stop-action to film the closing of the bag at 1:05. Odd, huh? That's because it's nearly impossible to just close it in one smooth zip. I've been watching vids on this to see how others close it. Another guy emptied the pouch before he closed it, no doubt because it would have dumped when he turned it nearly upside down to work the zipper. Been there. Nice desk caddy. A miss by an otherwise great maker of gear.

Mike - We work in a design shop with only 3 employees and roughly 2K square feet. When we go into public to shop etc we are all wearing masks. But we do not wear them in our work space that is not open to the public.
