Our Favorite Signature Detail of TB20
Переглядів 2,5 тис.День тому
The most challenging part of constructing TB20 was the flexible, floating divider. Our design requirements were lofty. It needed ample storage for laptops, tablets, and EDC while staying slim. It needed padding for protecting those valuables. It needed to be able to kick out of the way when not in use. It needed to serve as a full partition to add more organization to the internal cavity. Most ...

Whos idea was it to make this rambling video?
Magnets in future bags?
These are my go to solution for international travel. Passport, boarding pass and cash all in one place. Brilliant design.
I've bought the CAP2 twice. Once because I couldn't find the best use for it and because of the eye watering price for what is essentially a pouch with partitions. It is however a superb pouch if you use a bag with a huge empty cavity or a bag with a less than ideal quick access pocket. I now use it with a floppy lightweight backpack to store my chargers, house keys, power bank, mini fan and money. I don't need a wallet anymore. It's very convenient at the airport where you can just flip the bag around your shoulder, pull this pouch out, and voila. Passport, money, phone and boarding pass all easily accessible. Easy to put back in your bag. And when you need it just look for the big sturdy pouch in your bag full of clothes and doodads. It can be a great anchor for a light bag or any bag without too much internal organization.

That down jacket? Is that a Patagonia ultra down hoody? Love the colour. Briefcase is cool too
I love the CAS2 but i want a small zippered pocket in the main compartment.
I wish they’d put this pass through and a water bottle pocket on their 16l bag or just make an even smaller versions of this bag. I prefer the other bag for travel due to its size for my personal item but I do find myself wishing it had those things.
.. because GORUCK's Bullet 16L and GR0 were becoming very popular?
I have a Nomatic and have searched for anything to best it. This looks like it could. Has anyone here bought this bag? Is it good for travel as a replacement for luggage?😊
I wish you had made this available in waxed canvas from the get go. It seems like with a lot of releases, the "early adopters" get the short end of the stick when a subsequent version comes out later in a more interesting material. It disincentivizes getting products in the beginning in favor of a wait and see approach.
I need a Griffin version with an external water bottle holder and no velcro on the strap inside... Magnet maybe? Pretty great overall.
Wish there is a tote version of this, i.e. having longer grab handle, so that it is more versatile. At 20l worth of gear, it unlikely someone will be carrying it for long with the current handles and will definitely sling it.
It comes with a shoulder strap:). Handle carry or shoulder carry away. Cheers for the comment.
Love mine. Would love to see a better strap. Once I put that strap on I never take it off
So far I love this bag! I just wish that the strap was a little more substantial. I never take straps off of these kinds of bags.
PER-FECT for teachers... Wow! Thanks.
Please please waxed canvas version
are u buying QQQM manually on Moomoo or RSP via some other platforms?
This is the first time I've seen Evergoods miss
It's way better than the Elements Drop In
Will wait for more color options…
Ordered mine. Great job guys.
Waxed canvas!!!! Please!!!!
Perfect size!! 🔥
That’s a chonky briefcase, I wish it came in a smaller size like 10-14 L
Do you know if this fits in the economy flight sized carry on fitting tray?
Dude…the design of the pocketing and other features is just sick… You guys really went all out…
Dinner Party mode! YES! Love that part. For me, this *might* be the perfect pilot bag...will be tough to unseat the CTB20 I use currently in that mode...can't wait to find out. Great one guys!
Thanks JB!
I’ve also been waiting for you guys to make the perfect pilots bag! Looks like this will be it! Thank you @evergoods_ ! I’m looking forward to your review JB!
Finally! Been looking for something like this for a while. Almost pulled the trigger on the Tenba Cineluxe 21 but it really doesn't fit my use case.
Very well thought out as ever. Looking forward to seeing a smaller shoulder bag from you guys.
I can see a velcro strap inside the bag, close to the zipper opening that you didnt explain. Whats it for?
It’ll definitely fit an Old Fashioned setup if it’ll fit a martini setup. So it’s a win.
I absolutely love the design, but I think the strap needs to be amazing to justify it. Especially coming at 3lbs, it has to be comfortable enough to wear over long periods of time. Can’t wait to see reviews!
Are there any additional abrasion resistant features on the base? I'm thinking of scenarios where while commuting or travelling you need it rest it on rough surfaces, e.g., asphalt or concrete? Or surfaces that aren't clean, and so might be wet or have debris?
Always teasing us with that Signal Blue CAP2 😢
The typical height underneath the plane seat in front is 10-11 inches. The height of this is 12 inches. Might be a tight fit sitting vertically.
Nice design, would instantly buy it if it had a backpack mode
Not really my sort of bag, but love to see that you all continue to innovate and dream up new products! Hopefully, we can also get some continued updates on older bags. Would love mirrored versions of the CPL and CTB.
CPL24 mirror, please!!!
Nakamichi Dragon?
This is really thoughtfully laid out and I really like the design. You guys are not making it easy for me to decide what to get at Evergoods lol
how strong are the shoulder strap fastex buckles? What's the top load I can carry?
What was that color on the cap2?🧐
Who doesn't need a briefcase to carry a Martini cocktail set up?! :D Another great product guys, as always!
For 229 😂 that's more expensive than the TD35😮 Hard pass.
It's a more complicated design with the divider, so one would expect it to be more expensive to manufacture. The difference in material cost is probably negligible.
@@MrJed_s exactly
BTW I love my TD35, man.
Really well done, EXCEPT, I could never buy a shoulder bag that forces me to use the strap it came with. I do think the folding corner design is cool, but not at the sacrifice of strap selection. Sew on a couple D rings and let me use any strap I want and I’m buying.
Also quick release clips for the strap is a deal breaker, don’t trust them for a second.
Every month you guys keep coming out with something amazing. Love it
just having some fun over here :)
Loving this. I was about to reach out about doing a tote / over the shoulder and this pops up. Instant buy. Keep up the great work Kevin!
"PLASTIC" buckles -___-
What material would you have preferred?
@@TheseUncertainTimessteel D rings box stitched to 2” webbing that is a continuous piece all the way around the bag to the other side.
@@TheseUncertainTimes I would avoid using them completely and use carabiners insted. Knomo does that
Dang it, don’t need it, but I want it.
Business meeting on the outside. Martini party on the inside.
As much as I love Evergoods this doesn't do it for me as a briefcase. It doesnt look business to me. The handle and side flaps give it a hybrid messenger/duffel look
It's certainly different than your traditional leather briefcase, but if memory serves EG did a killer leather rendition of the Transit Duffel a couple months after the initial launch. I forget what the fabric's specs were but it I would watch out for that if matte black isn't your thing.
@@poweroftheweezGriffin in waxed canvas
