Enjoyed this video, Kevin. Lack of situational awareness, improper hygiene, lack of theatre etiquette, chaise hogs, elevator "mobbers", and I guess what I'd call just lack of common courtesy or manners, are my big pet peeves. Many of them overlap yours.
There's an old quote and I don't recall the exact verbiage, nor who said it, but the gist is that "the people most willing to share their religion with you are the least likely to be interested in yours." And unfortunately in the US today, politics has turned into a quasi-religion for some to where they want to shove their beliefs down your throat but can't even have an open minded discussion about yours. I think if people just spoke to each other as people, like you mentioned, we'd see that we're all MUCH MORE alike than different. And you know what, even the areas where we differ, we can learn from each other. That's what makes traveling so amazing. Meeting new people and learning about others' history, beliefs and culture. Thanks for your service to our country, and thanks for the videos. I have been on hundreds of cruises, and it never ceases to amaze me that someone would leave a tray of uneaten food on the floor in the hallway outside of a stateroom. They could just as easily leave it on the counter inside the stateroom and the attendant will gladly remove it when they clean. No one wants to see your sloppy eating habits, and possibly trip over a tray in a hallway that is very narrow to begin with!!! p.s. They also do this in hotels on land....very un-neighborly.
Having recently got back from a P&O cruise, we found the most annoying things fellow passengers do is, 1, people getting into full lifts that they know are going in the wrong direction, for example, if they want to go up, they get into a going down lift and say ‘we have got in for the ride, fed up of waiting, 2, people returning to their room late at night making lots of noise and then switching the TV on very load, while their neighbours are trying to sleep. 3, people filling their personal water bottles up from the buffet restaurant water/juice machine. 4, people sneakily smoking in no smoking zones then leaving cigarettes ends on the floor, or as we discovered shoving them down the back of sun lounges. In our experience we have found American travellers to be much more considerate and polite compared to the British !
Good points Kevin! Connie & I are always amazed at how many people won’t wash their hands, even when there are people asking them to wash when they enter the buffet.
Hey Kevin, I just got back from my first solo cruise and a second cruise with some friends. I did the solo based on watching you and I went on MSC Magnifica. I loved it. I had so much fun. A smaller ship so I didn’t feel quite so lost. Met some really great people. The second cruise I went on Princess with three of my friends from high school, and I ended up getting sick and spent three of my seven days in sick bay on the Caribbean princess the medical staff there are incredible. Love your list. Some people are so gross. 🤢
OMG Kevin…. After 40+ cruises, your #2 is my biggest complaint! I agree, people who just 🛑 STOP 🛑 in the middle of a hallway, without any recognition of anyone around them … it just makes me crazy! That includes those on foot or in those scooters!!! As you said, just pull over to the side! The craziest (and rudest) thing I’ve seen on a cruise is that one-loud-guy who sits in the various trivia games and, at full voice, shouts out what he thinks the answer is, even though he isn’t technically playing the trivia! Makes me crazy 🤪

Yes, I have to agree with all of these. People seem to have no spatial awareness anymore. There always seems to be an “extra wide” couple walking side by side down narrow corridors, waddling back and forth so there is no way around.🤦🏽♀️Also, I had young grandchildren with me last cruise, so we used lots of the public restrooms. It was very disheartening to see how many women left the restrooms without washing hands…😬
One of my biggest pet peeves is the elevator rushers who come out of nowhere, don't let people exit the elevator, then cut in front of everyone else including the mobility challenged or older passengers. Everything you said is spot on though. Semper Fi buddy, oops, Navy so Smooth seas for you.
Another great video. It’s so disheartening to see a passenger belittling crew members. We are so appreciative of the fabulous crews. They work so hard. So glad I enjoy life and my cruises! There are no bad cruises.
On a cruise for a wedding, it was in March...so lots of college kids on spring break drinking loads of tequila...use the bathroom off the pool area and of course someone had PUKED in the sink...not the toilet...the sink...so gross! Also, the way some of these kids treated the staff was embarrassing...I would go and tip them extra because I felt so bad!!

Pockets are great mobile containers for all proteins....not just shrimp! In my opinion, chicken tenders work best in cargo pockets. 😅 Those last few shrimp can be hard to fish out of the bottom.
You are spot on with all of these! As a former cast member for TWDC one of the things we were trained to do is look up and down and to pick up, throw away, put away anything not in place! Put it on a table, put it on trash can...don't just drop it on the floor and not pick it up! Like seriously that glass was too heavy to carry to you stateroom and put on the desk? And getting angry at people that have no control over a situation...oh man working in hospitality it happens all the time. If you go off on some poor 18 year old college kid and I am around I go all "mama bear" on those folks. I have no problem telling people who are upset or demanding something why it's being done that way. Will always be truthful, but scaring some poor kid? Yeah nope. Just stop ... Be nice if you want to voice a complaint! And definitely go to a manage or guest services!
The hand washing station outside the buffet is fantastic! I love it and think every restaurant should have one near the front door. I haven't seen anything like that since the handwashing station we had to use outside my old school cafeteria in the 60s. Liked your entire list but I normally keep boiled crawfish in my pockets, I'm from Louisiana and thought everyone did that. (I'm just kidding of course.) Thanks.

As a Brit I have noticed Americans use their political beliefs almost like it’s their identity which seems to just end up creating division in society.
Agree...esp those who affiliate with one party no matter who the candidate/official is despite the lack of policy/sanity, as if that IS their identity. Very sad for those who cannot define themselves beyond political beliefs!
I hate when your 20 minutes into the nightly show and people are still trying to find a seat as your trying to watch the show. Excuse me, sorry, excuse me, no I don’t mind moving:(. I have 2 1/2 plus months of cruising scheduled. this next year. Excited
MSC allows passengers to book one or two-day trips to local European stops. It feels almost like a bus ride at that point. We noticed multiple times that the passengers would empty the tea and sugar trays into large bags. The weirdest was when a passenger made tweenty or so sandwiches from the the buffet area and ziplocking them to go. They were going to get their money's worth!😁

Hello Kevin! New here and watched a few of your past videos. I also like traveling alone and doing 'my own thing' but haven't cruised alone. I've wanted to go to Alaska, so I'll keep looking. I live in central Florida and close to several ports, but I've seen a lot of the Caribbean already. Maybe I'll try a trip out of Port Canaveral alone (30 minutes from me), just to see how it goes. I was on the Carnival Celebration inaugural sailing, and I bought one of the nice "inaugural season" hoodies. During a deck dance party, I took off the hoodie and put it on the bench by the pool, three feet away from me, where I could see it. About a minute after I took it off, a woman came over and sat right on it. I went right over to her and said "hey, that's my hoodie." She started yelling at me to not make a big deal out of where she sat. It was very evident that she intended to walk away with it.
Can you tell me if the Ruby Princess now has hand washing stations at each entrance to the buffet? I was hoping they would be added in drydock. We wash our hands before serving ourselves in the buffet and after touching all the utensils as we too have witnessed few people hand washing.

I had no idea that you were going to be here. Hope you got a chance to get out a bit. The weather is great today. The Royal dwarfs our ship.
Kevin this is by far my favorite video you’ve done, but not so much from the content. What I liked seeing was what the inside of the shipped looked like. I never realized how nice the cruise shipped looked inside. It would be nice to do a similar tour while the ship is in motion in rough seas!

As someone who works with tiny humans, I was my hands constantly. I’m fortunate that our restrooms are between our classrooms with the sink in the room so that I can make sure they wash their hands too! I also ask them to wash again if they cover a cough or sneeze with their hands or pick their nose! Happens way too often!
Just a reminder.......we're not the only ones on the ship. Be considerate of our fellow passengers and at least ACT like you have some solid home training!
I enjoyed hearing some of your cruising pet peeves, Kevin -- I agree with them, and would add most of them are among my pet peeves of what people do on land too! :P As for stuffing food into cargo pants pockets, unless the food is wrapped, why would you want to get your clothes all dirty/wet/greasy/smelly, and that you then wear around next to your body? And if you can't get the stains/smells out later, you would have ruined a piece of clothing! Especially since the buffet is free and all-you-can-eat, can't they find some other kind of container to take the food to a different location? I just don't get some people...::smh::
That cup at the stairs is so not cool- that could be a disaster!! And I agree on the people that work on the ship(s).They have to keep track of the maintenance of the ship(s)! And the pocket-filled shrimp- my goodness( I don't think so....)! Alright, Kevin, have fun!!🌅🛳🌺🤗
HaHaHa, Kevin...don't worry. When you are on a ship for that long, you are bound to pick up on things. I had a blog when I was on the world cruise and the title was, Types of World Cruisers. It was a taxonomy of passengers that, well how can I put it, were not the best passengers on the ship. There was, The Blow Hard, The Complainer, The Loners, The Entitled, The Loud Mouth, The Coughers and finally The Normals. It was a satire on my true experiences on the Island Princess during our circumnavigation of our lovely planet. LOVE your channel. One day we will probably meet up on a Princess ship!
I have a question for you: do those big cruise ships feel crowded to you? I've been watching cruising youtube videos, and a lot of them give an impression that the big ships generally feel crowded. But in your videos you generally seem to be staying away from people (which to me is good). Do the ships you've been on feel crowded to you, or is it possible to stay away from people and still be comfortable? And what ships you've been on seemed more crowded, and which ones seemed less crowded? (purely in your subjective opinion)
There are certain times that certain locations are crowded but there are always places where you won’t find many people. Early in the morning you’ll pretty much have the ship to yourself. And the higher the deck, the less likely anyone is going to be up there.
I think I got a bit annoyed when you come back on the ship and you have to place your possessions on the scanner and people wait until they are there before they get ready. Some of them have to dig for they medallion 🤬
I haven’t been on a cruise ship YET; though after 13 months of living in Waikiki Hawaii; pretty much the same things go on there too ! And I COMPLETELY AGREE with ALL you had to say here. Deb in another location now…keeping it on the lowdown. ❤
Loved your list -- and didn't find it "whiny" or complain-y at all. I had to pause when you spoke about political views -- but you're absolutely right. I'm entirely comfortable ("liberal" even) about sharing my "conservative" views, albeit in a stereo-typically Canadian, diplomatic way, *provided the right environment* -- as a general rule, wearing one's political views on your sleeve (quite literally) is almost always a bad idea -- this is especially true when things are as polarized as they are today. Let's have some politic free zones -- and cruising would defintely be top of that list. Navigating crowds to and fro, and traffic on the road seems to constantly ensnare those with less self awareness and also the many who are "spatially challenged" regardless of whether you're on the freeway, or at your local super-market. The guy with his shrimp -- reminds me of my brother-in-law, actually -- you'll likely find there's some mental health issue or condition ( my b-i-l's is Asperger's). It's certainly, um, "out there" but it's good of him to provide a chuckle for the rest of us -- could also be stupid drunk, maybe? Cheers!...from North Vancouver

Indeed, leaving garbage around is unacceptable. Stopping to chat in the middle of anywhere happens everywhere these days. But you being in the theatre during this one reminds me of the time during a show that someone down in front was on their phone talking loudly to someone on the other end...the performer in the middle of his song came down and sang in the phone and must have hung up and passed the phone back...still not sure if it really was a part of the act or not, but he did get a big round of applause! lol Indeed, even our kids in school had to wash their hands before eating and after coming in from recess...and hopefully they did in the washroom as well! lol Indeed, when I'm on vacation, I want to relax...leave the statements at home...or any type really! Goodness, the complaints that come have to put up with...I don't know who some people manage to keep a smile on their face while being barraged with verbal tirades...seems to be happening everywhere more and more often...such a shame as it really makes the experience bad for everyone around. I've asked for a container to take some food with me one time and was presented with a great little container with multiple compartments...no need to fill one's pants! Just got off the Wonder of the Seas ,So many people caughing in hands and walking right past hand wash station! You almost have to be the 1st person in before everyone.And no more dining room dinner with 8-10 People around the table because there is always one or two soon as they get through eating they Blow There Nose at the Table while Others are Eating!!!
On your list of five things, there are none that are not done on land. While the guy who filled his pockets with shrimp is pretty bizarre I think more bizarre is: why would anyone ever enter a bathroom with food? Pizza on the toilet paper holder....insane. The worst thing I have ever seen on a cruise ship are people with open sores on their lower legs getting into the hot tub. Yes people in the plural! I will never ever use a hot tub any place but my home (which of course I do not have as I live in a coop). Well done video.
all true. well 99% might be a bit high, i hope. and thank you for your 20 years of service to the rest of us! you must have gotten an early start! putting room service leftovers/dishes in the hallway is yucky to me. we were on the regal princess last year, a similar ship. really like the outside walkways on the older ships.
We have cruised several times since covid ended and it is horrendious what poor hygiene people have! And it does mit matter what cruise line it is - high end or not do high end... Most of the passengers have learned NOTHING. Washing hands? Pfffff Using desinfactant? Pfffff Coughing or sneezing inside elbow? Why??? Etc. etc. etc. People are disgusting!!!
Weirdest thing I every saw was at a buffet in Las Vegas, a guy was stuffing his sport coat pockets with greasy taquitos. Can't imagine seeing him wearing that, or him enjoying his lint enhanced Mexican treats.😂

I've been watching you since you were living in your van and I love the way you've decided to define your travels according to your desires and interest vs how some people think you should travel. Bravo! I LOVE IT! i just wanted to say that even though I was interested in living in an RV for several years, once the pandemic hit and the prices soared, I rethought that position. I'm still going to do it but when I feel I'm in a better position to handle the costs that most UA-camrs never discuss. In the meantime, your channel has helped me to get interested in cruising and I'll be taking my very first cruise in the early part of 2025 (as a solo female traveler). I can't believe some of the things cruisers have done; it's like they left their manners and good sense at home. I've seen some of the same types of actions you've discussed in Vegas. It's almost like people believe they've become the richest, most royal people on earth and feel the necessity to treat others poorly. Most of the videos I've seen show the crew as very hard-working, very pleasant people. They shouldn't be treated as poorly as they are by some cruisers. As a new cruiser, I'm a bit nervous about going on a cruise ship. Especially since I've never seen the ocean! But I'm truly excited to experience cruise life! Since you were a sailor and have been sailing on a cruise ship, I wanted to ask your opinion about calming seasickness while sailing. I'm sure if you haven't experienced it, you've seen others who have and maybe you have some good tips to share. Again, thank you so much for doing these travel videos; I adore them so much and look forward to watching more. I also am nostalgic about Princess cruises because I was a Love Boat series fanatic. TBH, I STILL watch the reruns! This was one of the main reasons I decided to go with Princess as my first cruise ship, along with your videos! PS: I love that you were a lawyer and have since gone on to "other" interests. I worked in the legal field for 32+ years so I'm in my "next" act (i.e., writing my first novel). However, you have me beat by one act: being in the USN! On one of my cruises, I injured my ankle and had to rent a scooter. I left the scooter, parked to play in the casino, and somebody had put their dirty drinking glass in the basket. So inconsiderate.
Great content on etiquette and common sense, which seems to be lacking nowadays. I’ve seen people on cruise ships stuff their purses and bags for snacks during the day. The crazy part is that it’s an all day buffet…lol…😂
Don’t forget the people who don’t wash their hands, go to the buffet and use the tongs to serve themselves the food from the trays and then place the tongs or spoons over the food instead of only placing the serving part over the tray and the part where you grab it outside and not over food. Disgusting. Even when you wash your hands it’s disgusting. Place back part of tongs and spoon outside the tray and the serving part over the tray so it all stays sanitary. People are disgusting.
I took my first cruise in December on the Sapphire Princess and your ship looks exactly like the Sapphire! Kind of surprised. Your last story was crazy! I agree with your examples. luckily on my ship, people washed their hands and didn’t wear political clothing! One of my pet peeves was the waiters cleaning up too much when I went back for a drink or to get seconds and not only was my table cleaned up, someone took it!

What drives me crazy my late wife was in a wheel chair lazy passengers wouldn't move out of the elevator for her she had no choice they are small and she would be stuck sometimes for a long time. Next is if your at the buffet move it!!!! Get and go stop staring take it try it if you dont like it ohh well if you do congrats you found a new food you like keep the line moving we need the old drill Sgt's on there lol Here I am about to be on the forst cruise post pandemic actually not looking forward to it.

One of my biggest pet peeves is the elevator rushers who come out of nowhere, don't let people exit the elevator, then cut in front of everyone else including the mobility challenged or older passengers. Everything you said is spot on though. Semper Fi buddy, oops, Navy so Smooth seas for you.

Another great video. It’s so disheartening to see a passenger belittling crew members. We are so appreciative of the fabulous crews. They work so hard. So glad I enjoy life and my cruises! There are no bad cruises.

On a cruise for a wedding, it was in March...so lots of college kids on spring break drinking loads of tequila...use the bathroom off the pool area and of course someone had PUKED in the sink...not the toilet...the sink...so gross! Also, the way some of these kids treated the staff was embarrassing...I would go and tip them extra because I felt so bad!!

Pockets are great mobile containers for all proteins....not just shrimp! In my opinion, chicken tenders work best in cargo pockets. 😅 Those last few shrimp can be hard to fish out of the bottom.

You are spot on with all of these! As a former cast member for TWDC one of the things we were trained to do is look up and down and to pick up, throw away, put away anything not in place! Put it on a table, put it on trash can...don't just drop it on the floor and not pick it up! Like seriously that glass was too heavy to carry to you stateroom and put on the desk?
And getting angry at people that have no control over a situation...oh man working in hospitality it happens all the time. If you go off on some poor 18 year old college kid and I am around I go all "mama bear" on those folks. I have no problem telling people who are upset or demanding something why it's being done that way. Will always be truthful, but scaring some poor kid? Yeah nope. Just stop ... Be nice if you want to voice a complaint! And definitely go to a manage or guest services!

The hand washing station outside the buffet is fantastic! I love it and think every restaurant should have one near the front door. I haven't seen anything like that since the handwashing station we had to use outside my old school cafeteria in the 60s. Liked your entire list but I normally keep boiled crawfish in my pockets, I'm from Louisiana and thought everyone did that. (I'm just kidding of course.) Thanks.

sometimes i have to do that to drown out the copyright music playing on the cruise ship
MSC allows passengers to book one or two-day trips to local European stops. It feels almost like a bus ride at that point. We noticed multiple times that the passengers would empty the tea and sugar trays into large bags. The weirdest was when a passenger made tweenty or so sandwiches from the the buffet area and ziplocking them to go. They were going to get their money's worth!😁

I was on the Carnival Celebration inaugural sailing, and I bought one of the nice "inaugural season" hoodies. During a deck dance party, I took off the hoodie and put it on the bench by the pool, three feet away from me, where I could see it. About a minute after I took it off, a woman came over and sat right on it. I went right over to her and said "hey, that's my hoodie." She started yelling at me to not make a big deal out of where she sat. It was very evident that she intended to walk away with it.

Can you tell me if the Ruby Princess now has hand washing stations at each entrance to the buffet? I was hoping they would be added in drydock. We wash our hands before serving ourselves in the buffet and after touching all the utensils as we too have witnessed few people hand washing.

Kevin this is by far my favorite video you’ve done, but not so much from the content. What I liked seeing was what the inside of the shipped looked like. I never realized how nice the cruise shipped looked inside. It would be nice to do a similar tour while the ship is in motion in rough seas!

As someone who works with tiny humans, I was my hands constantly. I’m fortunate that our restrooms are between our classrooms with the sink in the room so that I can make sure they wash their hands too! I also ask them to wash again if they cover a cough or sneeze with their hands or pick their nose! Happens way too often!

I enjoyed hearing some of your cruising pet peeves, Kevin -- I agree with them, and would add most of them are among my pet peeves of what people do on land too! :P As for stuffing food into cargo pants pockets, unless the food is wrapped, why would you want to get your clothes all dirty/wet/greasy/smelly, and that you then wear around next to your body? And if you can't get the stains/smells out later, you would have ruined a piece of clothing! Especially since the buffet is free and all-you-can-eat, can't they find some other kind of container to take the food to a different location? I just don't get some people...::smh::

HaHaHa, Kevin...don't worry. When you are on a ship for that long, you are bound to pick up on things. I had a blog when I was on the world cruise and the title was, Types of World Cruisers. It was a taxonomy of passengers that, well how can I put it, were not the best passengers on the ship. There was, The Blow Hard, The Complainer, The Loners, The Entitled, The Loud Mouth, The Coughers and finally The Normals. It was a satire on my true experiences on the Island Princess during our circumnavigation of our lovely planet. LOVE your channel. One day we will probably meet up on a Princess ship!

I have a question for you: do those big cruise ships feel crowded to you? I've been watching cruising youtube videos, and a lot of them give an impression that the big ships generally feel crowded. But in your videos you generally seem to be staying away from people (which to me is good). Do the ships you've been on feel crowded to you, or is it possible to stay away from people and still be comfortable? And what ships you've been on seemed more crowded, and which ones seemed less crowded? (purely in your subjective opinion)
There are certain times that certain locations are crowded but there are always places where you won’t find many people. Early in the morning you’ll pretty much have the ship to yourself. And the higher the deck, the less likely anyone is going to be up there.
I like to stay at 5-6thousand or less...I just don't care for the bug "dusnet" ships!
I think I got a bit annoyed when you come back on the ship and you have to place your possessions on the scanner and people wait until they are there before they get ready. Some of them have to dig for they medallion 🤬
I haven’t been on a cruise ship YET; though after 13 months of living in Waikiki Hawaii; pretty much the same things go on there too ! And I COMPLETELY AGREE with ALL you had to say here. Deb in another location now…keeping it on the lowdown. ❤

Loved your list -- and didn't find it "whiny" or complain-y at all.
I had to pause when you spoke about political views -- but you're absolutely right. I'm entirely comfortable ("liberal" even) about sharing my "conservative" views, albeit in a stereo-typically Canadian, diplomatic way, *provided the right environment* -- as a general rule, wearing one's political views on your sleeve (quite literally) is almost always a bad idea -- this is especially true when things are as polarized as they are today. Let's have some politic free zones -- and cruising would defintely be top of that list.
Navigating crowds to and fro, and traffic on the road seems to constantly ensnare those with less self awareness and also the many who are "spatially challenged" regardless of whether you're on the freeway, or at your local super-market.
The guy with his shrimp -- reminds me of my brother-in-law, actually -- you'll likely find there's some mental health issue or condition ( my b-i-l's is Asperger's). It's certainly, um, "out there" but it's good of him to provide a chuckle for the rest of us -- could also be stupid drunk, maybe?

Indeed, leaving garbage around is unacceptable. Stopping to chat in the middle of anywhere happens everywhere these days. But you being in the theatre during this one reminds me of the time during a show that someone down in front was on their phone talking loudly to someone on the other end...the performer in the middle of his song came down and sang in the phone and must have hung up and passed the phone back...still not sure if it really was a part of the act or not, but he did get a big round of applause! lol Indeed, even our kids in school had to wash their hands before eating and after coming in from recess...and hopefully they did in the washroom as well! lol Indeed, when I'm on vacation, I want to relax...leave the statements at home...or any type really! Goodness, the complaints that come have to put up with...I don't know who some people manage to keep a smile on their face while being barraged with verbal tirades...seems to be happening everywhere more and more often...such a shame as it really makes the experience bad for everyone around. I've asked for a container to take some food with me one time and was presented with a great little container with multiple compartments...no need to fill one's pants! While the guy who filled his pockets with shrimp is pretty bizarre I think more bizarre is: why would anyone ever enter a bathroom with food? Pizza on the toilet paper holder....insane. The worst thing I have ever seen on a cruise ship are people with open sores on their lower legs getting into the hot tub. Yes people in the plural! I will never ever use a hot tub any place but my home (which of course I do not have as I live in a coop). Well done video.

Hi Kevin, great video! I've been watching you since you were living in your van and I love the way you've decided to define your travels according to your desires and interest vs how some people think you should travel. Bravo! I LOVE IT!
i just wanted to say that even though I was interested in living in an RV for several years, once the pandemic hit and the prices soared, I rethought that position. I'm still going to do it but when I feel I'm in a better position to handle the costs that most UA-camrs never discuss. In the meantime, your channel has helped me to get interested in cruising and I'll be taking my very first cruise in the early part of 2025 (as a solo female traveler). I can't believe some of the things cruisers have done; it's like they left their manners and good sense at home. I've seen some of the same types of actions you've discussed in Vegas. It's almost like people believe they've become the richest, most royal people on earth and feel the necessity to treat others poorly. Most of the videos I've seen show the crew as very hard-working, very pleasant people. They shouldn't be treated as poorly as they are by some cruisers.
As a new cruiser, I'm a bit nervous about going on a cruise ship. Especially since I've never seen the ocean! But I'm truly excited to experience cruise life! Since you were a sailor and have been sailing on a cruise ship, I wanted to ask your opinion about calming seasickness while sailing. I'm sure if you haven't experienced it, you've seen others who have and maybe you have some good tips to share.
Again, thank you so much for doing these travel videos; I adore them so much and look forward to watching more. I also am nostalgic about Princess cruises because I was a Love Boat series fanatic. TBH, I STILL watch the reruns! This was one of the main reasons I decided to go with Princess as my first cruise ship, along with your videos!
PS: I love that you were a lawyer and have since gone on to "other" interests. I worked in the legal field for 32+ years so I'm in my "next" act (i.e., writing my first novel). Don’t forget the people who don’t wash their hands, go to the buffet and use the tongs to serve themselves the food from the trays and then place the tongs or spoons over the food instead of only placing the serving part over the tray and the part where you grab it outside and not over food. Disgusting. Even when you wash your hands it’s disgusting. Place back part of tongs and spoon outside the tray and the serving part over the tray so it all stays sanitary. People are disgusting.

I took my first cruise in December on the Sapphire Princess and your ship looks exactly like the Sapphire! Kind of surprised. Your last story was crazy! I agree with your examples. luckily on my ship, people washed their hands and didn’t wear political clothing! One of my pet peeves was the waiters cleaning up too much when I went back for a drink or to get seconds and not only was my table cleaned up, someone took it!
Forgot: I loved the Promanade Deck. I can’t imagine the ship without it!

What drives me crazy my late wife was in a wheel chair lazy passengers wouldn't move out of the elevator for her she had no choice they are small and she would be stuck sometimes for a long time.
