Jeff is hands-down my favorite team leader my favorite head mechanic! My favorite crew leader my favorite get er done mechanic he’s my favorite car builder hot Rod tuner I have enjoyed every bit of this car build the unconditional love he has given his daughter seeing the smile on her face night after night has truly been a joy this whole process has truly been a joy to watch. BILLY thank you for all of the support you have given to Jeff and Alisyn and Thommy throughout this build for supplying the Dirt and the new Hemi that Jeff will be putting in the Dirt sometime in the next couple years they will both owe you love and support for providing the car and the new motor for the next several years to come! I look forward to watching Alisyn drive her car the way it is for the next couple years. By the time Jeff gets done mentoring Alisyn for the next couple years she’ll be driving the wheels off of the Dart when she gets the new Hemi in it I look forward to watching the whole process. Her crew chief and her dart are the newest addition to Billy’s‘s race team congratulations Billy they are going to be winners and make you shine I look forward to watching you teach her everything you know❤ about driving she’ll make you shine and you’ll be able to count on Jeff to help you teach her how to be a winner!❤
Couldn't agree more with this comment. Jeff has been an awesome teacher, an awesome inspiration to more people than he will ever realize. The kids working together with Jeff as their teacher and leader in never settling for half done,, those lessons will take these kids as well as others who have been following the Dart build to new heights of exceptional quality.
I’m way late but First time through the channel…random observation but it’s following a thread through. There’s something there with Bill and speaking for carburetors. Almost Lorax esque. Maybe a silhouette with the bubble “I am Bill/Old Man and I speak for the Carburetors”. I’m sure y’all can do better but something to that effect.
@9:24,, we hear Jeff "Ya HA!!" That pretty much says everything doesn't it. He, Allison and Tommy have got to be so thrilled to take the Dart out of the garage under it's own power on it's maiden voyage after a complete tear down and rebuild of so many components of the car,, that short drive had to have been so satisfying on many, many levels. Jeff, his daughter and her guy working shoulder to shoulder built memories ON FILM that will be shared in their family for literally generations I believe. The tradition of SRC carries on and we fans have enjoyed the trip.
For Allison and Jeff… that is something no amount of money can buy! The time spent together and memories made building that car… gotta respect billy for taking care of his ppl and bringing them along on the dream he and his dad built.
The other thing is that Jeff is one of the most patient men I've ever seen...I don't know half what he does or have 1/4 of the fab skills and still wouldn't be as patient as him teaching someone to work on cars...you guys have an amazing teacher
I am Subscribed but I have been following this build. Because in 1982 at 16 years old I bought a 1967 Dart Gt that was in bad shape and smoking engine for $100.00. I worked all summer to Brazing patch panels for all the rust holes. and Took it to Mopar Nat's in INDY, were an OLD man Sold me a 1968 Mopar Parts book for $5.00. Mow'd many more yards bagged many bags of gorceries shoveled many snowy driveways and gathered up the parts and the next spring started to build a Little Monster from the guidance of that Mopar book. I do miss that car it was fun and fairly fast for the day. Until I put slicks aka Drag Radials on the car and Twisted it up bad at IRP drag strip, so bad it was rough to drive home. That is the First Time my Dad ever Helped me on this car. put it down and had the car pulled straight and welded in a cage front to rear tie in's and linked the axle up with coils and shocks , couldn't afford coil overs so had several sets of different weight coil springs . The best the car ever ran was low 10's on motor with race gas . Cheerish the time working on your car with your Dad . Keep up the Great work P.S. Liked the 68 grill first time I seen it on the car NICE TOUCH
Don't apologize for your seat covers. Don't apologize for any of it. That car is awesome. You guys killed it. I think she might be right about those flashers too.
Folks, this just may be a first.I have not turned a single wrench on the Dart, yet my eyes watered seeing it driven the first time after major redo. Not my car, time or money spent,or a shaken hand to those who have,yet....I still got emotional. Tommy, you sir,are an extremely blessed young man.
The Dart is looking good. Sounds good. So glad Allison able to take for spin. Jeff your good man and father. Not because of anything you did to car. It's how Allison appreciates, loves and respects her parents. I am a fan of all channels linked to SRC. You all act like you have some sense. Are respectful and loving of family and friends. Thank you. Good luck this weekend.
I am thinking Allison will keep this car forever...it's her favorite old mopar, and built with the team, documented on yt..what a sweet build,I bet someday Jeff paints it too,and makes her look minty fresh like his bad ride, which happens to be my dream car...I love all the channels, all the content, all the cars, but this dart has is special, maybe because it's her first racecar, maybe because it was a gift from Billy, and we saw the beginning of their wholle journey...I am so happy for Allison to be where she is at in life, and have the people she does around her...she is a lucky girl with a great personality and attitude...excited for her to get racing and hurt some grown men's feelings...
@18:45,, there you have it folks. NEVER throw away short pieces of 2x4 (and those left over nuts 'n bolts!),, those short pieces of wood saved in a hidden away place that only you know where they are fit into the "ya never know when you might need it" category. I always keep a few short pieces of 1x2, 2x4 and 4x4 in my garage because "ya never know when you might need it." :)
I believe that Jeff deserved the honor of the first drive after completion of this build. Just my opinion. I am very impressed with Jeff’s abilities and his eye for details. My last hot rod was a ‘68 Dart GTS with a 340 and 4 speed and was very quick. I could have used some of Jeff’s imagineering on my build too.
I hope Allison is able to hang on to this car through the years. Im in Jeff and Bills age group and when she's our age it will mean a lot to her to still have the car that her dad and everyone contributed so much for her to have. It's sort of a expression of how much she's loved by the whole family
Fairly confident this car will be an heirloom in the family, perhaps even get passed down to Tommy and Alison's firstborn. Would be very cool to document that both for content and personal reasons. I'm just a bit older than Bill myself.
I’m also a bit older than Bill. When my dad was a young Amish boy, going fast had 4 legs. My grandad lived not far from Kidron. I’m all about race cars myself. Chevy’s rule but I still have my 87 5.0
I'm same age and sure wish I had my 73 Duster still. I hit a coyote and it shoved the grill into the radiator while racing and got antifreeze under the tires and slid sideways into a tree and folded it from right behind the driver's door. Door flew open and I flew out. Man I was so mad I bought a 56 vw bug and I still have that but it wasn't my first car.
Put a sign on it saying “ We know - It’s not done” Nice work guys!!!! Car looks and sounds awesome can’t wait to see it put in some work. Stay safe and go fast
Even though the dart isn't one of my favorite cars of you guys I definitely watched a few videos on the build. I'm definitely impressed with how the car turned out and now it'll be more exciting for me to watch when she runs it!
The dart looks bad to the bone sounds good and I’m sure that car will be around for many years to come nothing better then making memories with your kids and in the same sport as the parents are interested in and hats off to billy for getting the car for Allison can’t wait to see it in some shenanigans against a Malibu I think the old man may have a very good race with it after they get the bugs worked out of it and congratulations to you all for how the car came out can’t wait to see it make Some passes on the track
Awesome work guys. Jeff does unbelievable work. The workmanship is second to none. The car sounds great, but it needs tail pipes to make it sound just a little better.
Father and daughter combo gets it done. Congrats Allison. First drive went very well. Minor issues easily conquered. Recheck mechanicals then give her some throttle. Hurt em!🙂👍
If you dont give this video a thumbs up, reflect on yourself. This was so great to see father/daughter build come together n them take the first drive! Love it, good work guys!
Tommy and Allison have the Cheesiest smiles when they are up to no good! I Just LOVE you guys so very much! Continue being who you are! And Jeff too? LOL

Jeff is EXTREMELY knowledgeable

It cool seeing Jeff he's got some racing tricks up his sleeve
Could not said it better myself. Go Mopar. No need to appeal to 2 Guns.🙂👍

Perfect stance! That car sits RIGHT!

For Allison and Jeff… that is something no amount of money can buy! The time spent together and memories made building that car… gotta respect billy for taking care of his ppl and bringing them along on the dream he and his dad built.
The best part of the video. Nothing beats spending time with your kid and seeing them happy. Love it
Absolutely!
Great teacher Jeff

This is a real testament and how jeff has rose above everything to help his daughter get her car done with the right stuff is so awesome
I wish she would have got to hit on it once just to hear her say something
Hell of a job Jeff your a true craftsman
Awesome! I really loved the sound of the rubber peeling off the floor when the car moved for the first time on it's own..

The intro to this video basically highlight real is great.
Congratulations Allison, the Dart is looking outstanding !
Respect i love the Build great Job 👍🏾👍🏾
Great Job
Double check the drive shaft length to make sure it’s not bottoming out in the transmission.
I hope Allison is able to hang on to this car through the years. Im in Jeff and Bills age group and when she's our age it will mean a lot to her to still have the car that her dad and everyone contributed so much for her to have. It's sort of a expression of how much she's loved by the whole family

@@Loki13M can you imagine how cool it would be to be 16 driving your mom and dad's Ole hot rod Dart to school?😎
I still have my first race car.... I believe I'm even taking it to the track tonight and race it.... 🏁

Tommy and Allison have the Cheesiest smiles when they are up to no good! I Just LOVE you guys so very much! Continue being who you are! And Jeff too? LOL
