I don’t know THAT much about hair products.. but I HAVE been binge watching a TON of hair stylist tutorials! I decided to get the Ella Bella 6 in 1 styler.. (my profile name is a complete coincidence lol!) ..so I started watching on what to put in my hair and how to protect it. They all have the same rules. 1) Yes. While your hair is damp.. you want to spray on a LEAVE IN CONDITIONER! A lot of these products I’m going to mention already have HEAT PROTECTANTS in them. You can find all these at either ULTA or, FRAGRANCENET (which is having a 40% off sale!). - ‘Ouai’ is great brand! I got their leave in anti frizz conditioner- which also is leave in thermal protectant (most are up to 350°).. but they also have thermal protectants alone. But it’s very important you use BOTH (whether they’re all separate products or not) .. a leave in conditioner AND thermal protectant. -another (for hold and volume as well).. is REDKEN BIG BLOWOUT GEL. Which gives you volume while also protecting your hair from heat! Redken also has a thermal protectant spray, which looks very similar.. it’s a heat protectant alone that you spray on hair once it’s DRY if you still want to curl or flat iron it. Redken’s a great company. - I also got ‘BUMBLE AND BUMBLE hairdressers invisible primer.’ Bumble and Bumble has rave reviews for its products! The leave in ‘invisible primer’ does it ALL! It detangles and conditions.. it’s a thermal protectant.. ( up to 350°) plus you can use it on DRY hair as well to either refresh your hair or tame those fly aways. Bumble and Bumble as well has just a HEAT PROTECTANT. Whether it conditions or not.. idk.. you’ll have to read it. Mine says ‘primer oil’ on it.. which is the favorite. And I have very fine, thin hair.. and it doesn’t weigh it down. If you need some volume.. these are heat activated.. so again.. damp hair. - ‘Olaplex’s blow dry mist’ (or root mist?) will give volume PLUS that also has a heat protectant in it. I also got Pureology’s root lifting mousse. Along with their ‘soft, light touchable hairspray. - Last but not least.. you REALLY want to invest in a hair oil. This is for AFTER your hair is DRY AND STYLED. It locks in the moisture PROTECTING YOUR hair and gives your hair a shiny, awesome finish! I went with Olaplex’s no 7 oil. But Ouai has an awesome oil as well. They come in 1 oz bottles or a tiny bit more.. but it’s important that you use ONLY A PEA sized.. or HALF a pea sized amount. That’s why a little bit lasts so long! Work into your ends.. to the mids.. and any left over on your hands.. slightly go over the crown to control fly aways. SO: 1) Leave in conditioner 2) Heat protection 3) Leave in oil Again.. BUMBLE and BUMBLE’s hairdresser leave in oil primer has gotten rave reviews! Ouai is an outstanding product as well, as Redken. Phew 😮💨 !! I know that was long.. but your question IS a very important one.. so I wanted to give you some ideas. Get them while on they’re on sale! Good luck! **EDIT- always remember to comb these products.. or use a wet brush.. through your damp hair before styling, so it evenly distributes the product. But start on the ends and mids. Also.. FragranceNet . Com has a 35% off sale.. but if you sign up for emails or texts (at least temporarily).. you’ll get 40% off! I’d also suggest investing in a salon brand shampoo and conditioner.. the really big bottles last a year at least.. because with salon brand.. they’re not watered down like drugstore brands. So again.. a little goes a long way! I got Redken’s ‘soft line’ Shampoo.. and their ‘hair lengthening’ conditioner in the 33.8 oz bottles. But.. if your choice DOESNT come with a ‘pump’ (like mine didn’t).. Amazon has them for like, 2 for $6 for those size bottles. 👍🏼🥵
MOST ..(not all).. of these stylers will work the same on your hair. As long as you’re not burning plastic.. it’s not yanking at or pulling out your hair.. or causing a short circuit in the house 😂.. most work similar. The key.. is when getting whatever you pick, is it can be intimidating.. and also frustrating at first. You need to have patience. These all have a learning curve to them. Once you get the hang of it after awhile.. it’ll be like driving a car 🤷🏼♀️ The main thing is to PROTECT your hair.. and have a healthy hair care routine.. BEFORE these even touch your locks! ** EDIT - aauughh?! I didn’t watch her entire review before commenting! Obviously a blow dryer BRUSH that straightens is a LOT easier on your hair than a flat iron! (That’s why I went with the Ella Bella 6 in 1 styler).. but.. please .. if you DO get this.. make sure your hair is almost DRY when you use the flat iron 😣.. DON’T use it on wet or even damp hair! Plus.. use a HEAT PROTECTOR FOR DRY HAIR as well BEFORE you use the flat iron!! Redken makes a blowout thermal protection SPRAY you use on DRY HAIR before you curl or flat iron your hair! Please use heat protectants and leave in conditioners!
Age, baby. That’s what happened and why your hair is being different and not doing what it used to with the Dyson 😂. … and I’m not talking about peri menopause or anything, lol! I’ve just started to really pay attention to my hair the past 10 years.. and, sometimes.. it’s thicker.. and grows sO much faster in a year or two than other years.. where it’ll have more damage and I can’t seem to grow it out to the length I want. I have very fine.. thin hair. I haven’t changed my routine or anything.. but 5 years ago my hair was fine.. but I had A LOT more of it! Then 4 years later.. and the ends are VERY thin.. and my hair wasn’t growing as fast.. nor did it look like it did the previous 4 years ago 🤷🏼♀️ But going into the 5th year.. my hair has suddenly gone on a growing spree! Granted.. the ends need about an inch off of trimming.. but my hair is REALLY growing FAST… just like 5 years ago. Plus I noticed I’m getting MORE of it. I haven’t changed my diet either. I’m noticed my hair doing this in my 40’s.. and she looks younger than that.. but.. I think our hair DOES change the way it grows.. the texture and the way it styles over the years. (Hence.. why we’re always looking for the best ‘new thing’ 3-4 years later!). I haven’t hit menopause yet.. I’m still in my 40’s.. but wait until your hair does a complete 180 on you! (Don’t worry.. maybe yours won’t). Mine went from 41 years of being VERY fine.. thin.. and super pin straight (nothing could curl my hair.. my routine was sooo easy.. blow dry and go!) .. to suddenly.. fine, thin or thinning (depending on the year).. to partly beach waves, partly spiral curls.. and partly pin straight..and frizzy.. (and it’s still like that).. aauuuugh!! 😂 That’s why I’ve been watching all these tutorials on how to use these ‘air wraps.’ I actually decided on the Ella Bella 6 in 1 blow dryer brush and styler. I can’t do the ‘curly girl’ method, obviously. So I need something that will straighten and add volume to my hair.. plus add curls if I want to. It had rave reviews! It’s from a small, family owned business that has great customer service. Anyway.. I just ordered it.. and can’t WAIT to get my hands on it! It was only $159.99 (now it’s $200). I didn’t splurge on the Dyson because my hair is soOo fine and thinner.. that the Ella Bella 6 in 1 styler will definitely do the job! If I had thick hair.. or fine hair but a ton of it.. I’d splurge on the Dyson. But my hairs obviously not gonna take much to easily straighten, add volume or curl.. so I went with it. Cool fact: your body goes through a change every 7 years! From the time we’re born! People who are lactose intolerant.. suddenly around 21.. aren’t anymore! It’s the same with skin, acne, hair, joints, digestive system, etc.. it’s pretty cool!
Thank you for the video and im convinced ..Im def buying one!!
But we would only buy it if actually has less heat damage then regular straightener and thermal Brush . What you say about that ?
I have the same question! I have heard Shark is not less damage
I would say it is less damage since you don’t have to use as many heat tools 🤷🏽♀️
What are some great heat protection hair products to use before styling your hair?

I just got a new Dyson air wrap I noticed when I turn off Dyson between use it has a slight 1 second vibration , do you have the same ? Is it normal?
